Hello, it's me, Carson "gay_cars" Clippy. I am a gay, trans man whose time in California is coming to a close a bit suddenly. If you're one of my followers, you know that I lost my well paying job back in September and have been struggling financially ever since. While I am employed now, it's not even enough to make ends meet every month, much less put anything away in savings.

My partner, Casper, is also having sudden changes in his living situation. We are long distance and we were planning on moving me across the country later this year or early next year regardless, but now we are both relocating to the Great Lakes.

He will be moving there at the beginning of July, and my plan is to get there by the end of July/early August. Once I have an exact date, I will add it to my fundraiser and to this post.

I have a goal set for $3000. I go into details on my GFM page explaining what the funds are going to be used for, but I need $2000 to cover the absolute minimum moving expenses of a U-haul U-box (which is a small shipping container) and the gas to drive my car over 2,000 miles northeast.

Any shares or donations are super appreciated by both me and Casper. We are excited to live together soon, we just wish the circumstances bringing us together weren't so sudden and expensive. We are planning on settling down long-term in the area we are moving to, so hopefully this will be our last long distance move for a long, long time.

Hello everyone! Doing an update on this as I'm adjusting my goal:

So... I have officially moved across the country to Atlanta! The drive was about two weeks ago and am settling in for the time being. We are moving to our final destination early- or mid-September. So my final costs ended up being closer to $1,750. I am adjusting the goal down to that, so I am very close to catching up on everything!

The last chunk of change will be to officially pay off the UBox (as I had to dip into the fund to pay for hotels and gas on the drive over, which was about $500) and one month of storage for the box (about $100). After that, my moving expenses will fully be behind me and I can focus on keeping my head above water while we are temporarily here, as I am unable to start work until we make the final move.

(note: this is the style that is the hardest/takes the longest and I have a queue of about 11 clients waiting already, so keep in mind it may take a while!)

Above are commissions already finished for @silcosbunny @versipellish and @sugarcoated-selfship so they're what you can expect in terms of quality!! These prices are for pairs, additional characters and complex designs will be an extra charge of normally no less than 5$!!
