i'm working on organizing a print making program with our free makerspace, where folks also fix broken appliances and learn to make rugs and use indigo dye in traditional japanese style. i'm also planning a ceili in march and hoping to partner with our local recycling and compost center to do a program for earth day. and it's all free!!!!!!!!!!!!

Los Angeles Public Library has the Octavia Lab which is a makerspace that has a laser cutter, photography studio, podcast rooms, computers w/ the full Adobe Creative Cloud suite and other editing and sound mixing softwares, recording studio, sewing machines, embroidery machine, 3D printer, poster printer, vinyl cutter, this thing that designs circuit boards and engraves different materials, 3D scanner, and a memory lab that lets you make digital copies of your pictures, audio stuff, and home videos. Some of these are also in their Koreatown Media Lab. All included with your library card.
