Per gli amanti delle passeggiate in collina alla scoperta di borghi medievali, consiglio di dedicare un pomeriggio a Hum, la più piccola città del mondo e poi dirigersi verso sera a Motovun, città su un colle dotata di una vista spettacolare della valle attorno e dove si può gustare delle deliziose cenette a base di tartufo.

If you are fancy walking among the hills to discover medieval villages, you can enjoy a lovely afternoon in Hum, the smallest town in the world and then head towards the evening in Motovun, a city on a hill with a spectacular view of the valley around and where you can enjoy delicious dinners made with truffles.

Fasana di notte. Fazana by night

Per una cena di pesce in una cittadina di pescatori non deve mancare una serata a Fasana, di fronte le isole di Brioni. Consiglio vivamente di andare al ristorante Konoba Feral.

Dall'Italia alla Croazia senza pagare l'autostrada slovena / How to avoid Slovenian highway driving from Italy to Croatia

- Dall'A4 proseguire fino all'uscita Rabuiese / Koper (in tangenziale di trieste, dopo la Grande Motori)

After A4 highway when you are on the quick road to Trieste, proceed at the Rabuiese / Koper exit.

- Arrivati all'ex frontiera prendere l'entrata in slovenia e girate subito a destra, percorrerete una strada che circonda il distributore OMV proseguite avanti per 400m e poi girare a sinistra, percorrere il cavalcavia ed al prossimo incrocio girare a sinistra

When you arrive at the former country border between Italy and Slovenia turn immediately right before like exiting to the shop on the right but you need to  keep it straight in order to enter in a street that is surrounds the petrol station OMV. Keep straight and after 400m turn left, proceed on the  overbridge, at the next crossroad turn left.

- Proseguire sempre sulla strada principale, troverete 2 rotonde (nel giro di 10km) e proseguire sempre dritto (la prima verso Dekani, la seconda verso Bertoki)

Proceed on the main road, you will find on your way two roundabouts. Go always straight (the first roundabout direction is for Dekani, the second for Bertoki).

- Proseguire fino alla prossima rotonda improvvisata (qualche km) e prendere l'ultima uscita. (la foto risale a quando non c'era la rotonda, NON ANDARE DRITTI) Proceed until the next roundabout. (The photo is taken before they develop the roundabout - DON’T GO STRAIGHT). Take the last exit.

- Dopo 200m girare a destra Turn right after 200m.

- Percorrere la strada principale. Non ci sono più incroci fino a Koper / Capodistria Proceed on the main road until Koper.

- Arrivati ad una rotonda girare a sinistra. (vedrete che alla vostra destra c'è l'uscita dell'autostrada). Proseguire seguendo sempre le indicazioni per Pula/Pola.  At the roundabout turn left (you will see that at your right there is the exit of the highway). Proceed always following signs for Pula.
