You don’t even need to bother directing them. They’re one-takers! Just shoot the camera at them. Don’t give them a script. Don’t even write it. It’ll write itself. You don’t need to do any work. Just leave them to it. Their character synergy is their natural chemistry. They’re a great team. Not on god’s given Earth will you find screen magic like this again! Lucy and Renee may be more than Xena and Gabrielle. But Xena and Gabrielle are nothing without Lucy and Renee! 

I am so glad that reboot is dead! No one touches these characters and this relationship except the rightful people PERIOD!!!
