Blue.
Ever since I knew about your diagnosis, the only thing I told God was to give me time. Time to give back and time to enjoy moments and vacations with you. Now I truly understand the hardships of people who work abroad. Leaving their own homes just to pursue their own lives and fulfill their dreams.
I try my best to keep myself occupied whether it be working extra hours, doing chores and the like just for me not to get eaten by the whole situation. The weight of my heart adds up each day. Every single day that I cannot do anything for you or even just to be with you saddens me.
Everytime my sister tells me to pursuade you to do physical therapy because she can notice that you’re getting weaker scares me. Simply because I know that you have lived your life wander around places even by yourself. I know this will definitely affect you when your symptoms progresses. This feeling of hope that my paperworks gets done so I can go home and spend time with you again while you still can is my only wish. I pray for you everyday. I pray that God continues to give you strength and patience to continue pushing for the better.
I miss you very much dad. I may not be able to call you everyday. I may only send you what I prepared for our dinner, but I always wish and pray that I can not only cook for you but take care of you in person as well.
My mind is everywhere. I feel like my path is obstructed and like there is no right way to go. But I never question God’s plans. I know that this might be very hard right now but I should always have faith in Him and that miracles happen everyday. I might be blue but life has many more colors to choose from everyday.
