Putting AI Companion Platforms to the Test, Feature by Feature
I approached this like a proper product review, scoring each AI companion platform on the categories that separate the serious tools from the toys. Customization, conversation quality, media, voice and calling, and privacy. Several names made the list, candy.ai among them, but sweetdream.ai consistently posted the strongest line across categories.
On customization, SweetDream is in a tier of its own, letting you design looks, voice, personality, backstory and quirks until the character genuinely feels like yours. On conversation, the chat is natural, emotionally intelligent and context-aware, which is the single hardest thing to get right and the thing most platforms still fumble.
The media and calling scores are where it pulls further ahead: excellent AI-generated photos and videos, lifelike voice messages, real-time phone calls, and video and live cam sessions available with select characters. Discretion is treated as a feature, not an afterthought, with conversations kept private. Tally it up and SweetDream is, by my measure, the best AI girlfriend experience currently on offer.

DNI: Basic stuff (racists, homophobes, transphobes, etc.) + people who pride themselves in being "problematic" + shippers who ignore a characters established sexuality (i.e man with a lesbian f/o, woman with a gay male f/o) (just a personal ick!)
anyone else just use your familial f/o's stuff while they're not there? their old shirt, or their favorite mug, even eating their go-to snack counts as a little bit of closure when you miss them. it's almost like they're right there with you <3 i think they'd also keep things that remind them of you in turn, maybe a little gift you've made for them, like a bracelet or some other trinket. or perhaps it's just a photo of you in their pocket or wallet...

I think Rocket would be an awful kisser. Like, actually terrible at it. Both from a lack of experience and just not liking the act that much in general. I can see him liking being kissed, but I think he'd be super awkward initiating anything genuinely intimate like that β mostly based on how difficult he finds connection with people unless he's known them for years (this is how demi-romantic rocket can win...)
Other headcanons... obviously him being softer around a partner (that's pretty common fandom wide), although I don't know if he'd use as many pet names as people think he would... maybe he'd say them ironically. I just can't see Rocket genuinely calling me "Babe" or "Hot stuff", although maybe he'd say it in public to playfully embarrass me? Yeah he'd probably do that lol
π- Is your interpretation of your f/o closer to canon or is it more of your own creation?
My Rocket is most similar to his MCU adaptation backstory and personality wise, although I do like aspects of his other renditions and mentally fuse them (i.e. him dressing vaguely punk in Rivals, his red eyes in most comics, etc.).

I'm not sure how much I would get along with the Guardians. I think out of all of them I would probably vibe the most with Quill bc of his music taste and sense of humour. Could see maybe connecting with Mantis? I feel like a conversation with her would heal me emotionally ngl
Other Guardians wise, I don't think I'd get along with Gamora all the much; just conflicting personalities and us both trying to have a bitch off which could be fun although I'd be worried aboyt things escalating sqkskkk
Also obvious to say as a Rocket fan but I do like Groot. Any age stage would be fun to hang around even if I don't exactly know what he's saying half the time lol

I have a copy of Rocket: Grounded, I've pre-ordered the 50th anniversary comic (which comes out on my BIRTHDAY!! Like damn he wants me bad huh) and I bought a print of him at the last Dublin Comic Con :]

He's literally the reason I got stardew sqsqsww i heard he was being added as a romance option and FREAKED because a socially awkward, chubby, bearded blacksmith is like. All of my favourite words combines. That and i find his ingame interactions super cute...
I really hate the fandom interpretation of him as some misogynistic stalker, it feels super weird when all of his cutscenes are focused on how he's just SUPER awkward and clumsy and afraid of confrontation!! And it ABSOLUTELY has NOTHING to do with him not being as conventionally attractive as the other bachelors AUGHGH

Im not sure how to describe my sharing persmission (since i didnt met any other skyler selfshippers at this point and therefore cant tell how i would feel:/) so if its okay maybe make one banner with non sharing and the other with doubles friendly. adjective for skyler gotta be beautiful! the aesthetic could be anything sky blue but more moody. for the banner use he pronouns. thanks a lot!!!
the bravest souls in fan spaces are the people who selfship with a character that already has a wildly popular ship in the fandom. you looked at a tidal wave of fan meta and fics all pairing your fav with another popular character and said okay. but what if i was the one kissing them instead? extremely powerful aura.
