“Ahh, right, the make a lot of cakes and cookies, right?” Josuke nodded.

“Well, I’m sure they’re working hard to get it done for you. What did you order?” he asked, walking with her.

Yukako take some seconds before answering, thinking if she should tell him, maybe if she only say the motive and not what it was, there will be no risk to be it spoiled “it’s... a surprise for Koichi. He passed all his exams so I wanted to celebrate it. Did you passed them too?”

Josuke liked the sound of bakery food. He could really go for some strawberry roll cake, not that he’d say it out loud.

“Oh, me? I was just on my way to the grocery store. My mom needs stuff to make dinner. But she gave me extra money for lunch, so… What bakery are you going to?”

“The one which is two blocks away, they said that my request will be ready for today, however, I went to the bakery and they told me to go back in one hour so that’s why I’m just walking around” she sighed frustrated, the girl doesn’t like when she has to wait “I guess I can go again and ask if they are done”

“Guess I was asking for it, though… Look, I was just trying to start a conversation with you. Uh… Let’s try it again, okay? So… w-what are you doing?”

Yukako smiled satisfied

“I was making time walking until the bakery have ready my order. What about you?”

— “ W-wha…? “  Yukako made one step back, she was expecting another kind of reply, the points of her hair started to move anxious, the girl was very close to to start insulting until she noticed a new detail. Her company was… floating? it’s not an human being  she thought, feeling a bit stupid for not realizing before. She take a deep breath to calm down, being aggressive towards the creature would be reckless. 

“Ora? That is… the only thing you know to say?” she asked in a soft voice meanwhile she kept repeating to herself why she had being so blind.

Floating another foot closer to the point he was only about three feet away from Yukako, Star Platinum’s eyes locked onto her hair, noticing how it suddenly started moving. The breeze alone wasn’t enough to make hair move like that, rather it seemed to move in an almost similar way to his own constantly swaying locks… Was it a Stand?  He’s seen Stands made of fog, sand, and water, what difference would it be if it was made of hair?

Star Platinum gave a simple shrug and a nod, answering yes, that was all he could say for the most part.

“Ora.”

At the moment, it doesn’t look like he were here to attack, that was a relief for the girl, she started to wonder if the creature were a Stand, it was her only explanation also nobody else seems to be alarmed by his presence, it was probably they can see him. 

  — “ It going to be an interesting conversation I guess...“   she sighed, why I am talking to a Stand anyway? he examined his companion more carefully maybe is a Stand of one of the Koichi’s friends, after all he is always hanging out with people with stands “Do you want... something?” the teenager asked in order to decipher the intentions of the stand and also because she wasn’t sure about what to say.

"Heeey! Yukako! You're looking less... uh... murderous today!"

— “Hello, Mr.Joestar.  You’re not the best in flattery but thank you I guess..  What you up to?“

Yukako stared at Josuke in silent for a few seconds

— “Definitely not...“ she paused before continue “he is handsome at least”

probably she was taking the opportunity to revenge the murderous adjective

The Stand said nothing for a few moments as the girl spoke, tilting his head to the side at her choice of words. She was certainly snippy, wasn’t she? Kinda rude, too.

Thankfully he wasn’t taking any negative comments to heart, otherwise he would have probably tried to take a few swift swings at the teen, but thankfully he wasn’t entirely barbaric.

Finally, Star Platinum decided to float a little closer, his head tilting in the opposite direction out of curiosity.

“Ora?”

Koichi as always was being a respectful and considerate person.   “ That was... so sweet “  she smiled “ I’m free, let’s go to the cafe” with the invitation Yukako forgot that she was waiting a present from him

The stand just kind of stared at the girl for the moments time. …Less people? He wasn’t exactly a person per-say… More of a spirit. Besides, it was nice being around lots of people! The energy was always so exciting.

“…Ora?”

The girl examined the stand, thinking at first it was a person disguised for a kind of show or hobbie, the intense look on his eyes made her feel a bit uncomfortable. There was a part of her that was saying he was not a normal human but Yukako just ignored her intituition blocked mostly by her temper

 — “Why do you keep looking at me? It’s annoying, just tell me what you want“

“If there were less people though then this little place might go out of business. Then everyone’s out of luck.”

Yukako sighed at her reply, she doesn’t like to admit someone else beside her has the reason, “Perhaps, that’s a good... hmm theory. Anyway, that doesn’t change the fact that people are still a bother” she would not admit the white haired person was right, at least not in a direct form
