"Meta" Series 1, Part 1

Second preview for today is another new illustration series. Based upon one of my very first illustrations from 2005. The work deals with the concepts of deconstruction, loss and rebirth.

"Meta" will be a series of digital watercolor paintings.

2025 ➡️ 2005

I spent today sketching out the main drawings for new illustrations. My workspace is really important to me, it must be clutter free, easy to sit down to and get working at. And I like drawing on top of a nice warm base. This new one being a  beautiful marble wallpaper print which I covered my desktop with.

This drawing is the beginning of a spiritual sequel to my ‘Requistion/Meta’ illustrations from way back in 2005, almost 20 years ago when I started out as an illustrator. Swipe right to the see the original Meta illustration from 2005.

Throwback to 2021. A detailed close up of my "Master of the Multiverse" illustration created for Depthcore's Noir II chapter. This robot will be making a return this year...in new artworks!

An update from lovetherobot: Here’s a little teaser of my new art. I’ve been busy making new illustrations since late last year, exploring old classics and building new ideas. I plan to start a new chapter in my creative career next month.
