your first thought when it comes to mad dog may not be "that man can dress", but remember, he dated supermodel alisa haiba for three years. he's been trained. so lets get into it...

his closet is almost all faded graphic tees. muted tones, cool prints, probably a hole in the hem and some frayed thread in the sleeves.

another baggy jeans wearer. either black or denim so faded its almost grey. you'll find a few pairs of cargo pants in his dresser. one of those guys that wears low waisted jeans with his Calvin Klein boxer band showing.

always wears dog tags. no one but y/n knows where he got them. silver chain bracelet she got him for his birthday a few years ago, while he was still dating alisa. occasionally a few rings, but isn't used to having things on his hands, so they aren't staples. you know what? let's throw in a pair of crappy, off brand headphones he got for seven bucks at the thrift. one hundred percent gets snotty and makes comments about "basic hoes and their beats" whenever anyone asks about them.

everyday wear includes some beat up, old converse that he's had for as long as he can remember. owns a pair of black work/combat boots that are scuffed to high heaven. i know what you're thinking on this last one. "oml lovey, mad dog wouldn't wear a pair of fucking Birkenstocks" and you'd be completely right. alisa gave him a pair when she was trying to get him to change up his wardrobe a bit. they were met with a scowl and promptly tossed into the back corner of his closet. he'd throw them out, but every time he thinks about getting rid of a pair of hundred something dollar shoes, he cringes.

back to his tops. he's got a nice collection of thick hoodies, but only a few stay in rotation. once again, faded colors. either plain or with a subtle graphic/dyed print. and you can't look at this man and tell me he doesn't own a camo hoodie.

lets talk about his pants again. they've got bling. owns several silver belt loop chains. started using a carabiner, not as a fashion choice, but because he refuses to cary a bag and anything that goes in his pockets is lost into a black hole. after five house keys going missing, something had to be done. y/n and yahaba add little charms and keychains to it, and he always rolls his eyes and scoffs, but never takes them off.

he runs warm, but sometimes the weather calls for some layers. plain zip up hoodies and jackets. wears them till the seams are coming off and even then doesn't do anything about it until y/n patches them up or his friends drag him to buy a new one. a brown, vintage leather jacket. he found it in the dingy back of a shop a few years ago, and it's worn to the point you can't even read the label to know the brand.

hats hats hats. doesn't own a single normal one. half of them are absolutely foul and the other half have the corniest shit you've ever heard.

always has a vintage style hoodie or carhartt jacket. either on her, slung over kyōtani's shoulder, or in her car.

pins everywhere. on her jacket, on her bag, on her hat, stabbed into her apartment wall as a replacement for push pins, you name a place, she has one there.

the cutest press ons. she's too busy (read: forgetful) to keep up with nail appointments, and long nails get in her way sometimes when moving boxes at the konbini, so she loves some she can just pop on and off.

always has on silver jewelry. obsessed with swirls and stars. the queen of layering.

adores a cute little going out top. usually sticks to darker colors. once again, fitted is a must. backless preferred, but not required. skimpy little straps.

SNEAKERS. converse and adidas addict. owns a few pairs of heels and platforms (hello steve madden) but usually sticks to some darker, trendy tennis shoes.

patchwork tattoos !! absolute random shit that somehow goes together, some with meanings, some something she got while blackout drunk at a sketchy parlor next to a bar. she and alisa always wanted to get a matching tattoo as kids, but when her sister started modeling, they decided to wait until she was retired/had more control over her image. (yes, these are from my personal tattoo pinterest board. can you tell she's kinda a self insert?)

3am pillow talk with suna rintarō who refuses to call what you two have anything but casual, except he gets clingy in the dead of the night. idle fingers trace up and down your spine before his hand sprawls out against your lower back, pulling you impossibly closer to him. his lips find your neck again, leaving small love bites despite your huff protests, a red blooming memento to prove that you belong to him while the rest of the world is asleep. 

you know you should probably peel yourself away from his arms if you don’t wanna get your heart broken ceremoniously–but it’s hard when the sweet nothings murmured against your skin feel so raw and honest, like a secret only you know about. his fears, his sorrows, his growing pains. how much more can you carry? is this love or a burden?

you will never find out, because suna and you only exist in the blind spot of the universe. he’ll write what if’s against your bare back with his fingertips and you’ll lick the lie of ‘right person, wrong time’ off his lips, pretending it’s not eating you alive. suna laughs softly against the hollow of your throat and it drowns out the sound of your heart shattering in your rib cage underneath his warm palm. 

when every kiss could be the last you start savoring them; your hands tangling in his hair and his cupping both sides of your face, thumbs tracing your jaw with the adoration only man drunk from love and loneliness could muster. you push lies between each other’s lips like candy, letting them wash out the bitterness that comes in the morning, when the sun rises and you both get dressed again, going back to being nothing more but friends. 

the distance between you is a valley, a black hole in your heart threatening to devour you if it weren’t for the kisses pressed against your knuckles and the inside of your wrist while he lingers in the doorframe. suna is always leaving. the bed is still warm and unmade but at least his eyes are honest; telling a story about adoration and a tale as old as times, the ending already written in the stars.

actually enjoys taking care of you and spoils you rotten - hot, comforting meals, massages, and your favourite movies that he normally refuses to watch, but he’ll make an exception this time

tries to be cool about it but his heart melts when you smile up at him and say thank you in that hoarse but still sweet voice of yours (what a big softie…)

this man runs hot all the time, so you know his cuddles are the absolute best. you wake up to a pair of strong arms around you, enveloping you in a comforting warmth
