The Slender sensed something peculiar roaming the outskirts his forest. He was used to these kinds of energies - but something seemed off. He tried to ignore it, going about his walk, but something was there. It started to worry him as it got closer and he still couldnât tell what it was. He starts to finally investigate.

The evening was strange for the Slender, seeing as none of the animals really talked to him today. Everything seemed a bit off, even the energy of this particular person. Or maybe it wasnât a human, he thought. Running, weaving through the skinny tall trees in his forest, he then found the strange one. It was like nothing heâd ever seen before. Well, felt. Itâs energy was so strong the Slender could almost feel the softness of the strange ones wings. He got so overwhelmed that he accidentally fell a step forward, stepping on the large twig. Quickly snapping out of it and stepping back behind the tree, he waited. Hearing a voice, he tensed up a bit more, feeling the strange emissions as they talked. Perhaps they werenât hostile. He peaked out from behind the tree slightly, not saying a word.
*The angel then saw the tall thin suited man and smiled when he recognized what he was. Vern had met several Slenderman in his travels. He wasn't sure if this one was hostile or not, but he could smell that familiar scent which was accustom to a Slenderman. It was a little bitter, but it never was a bad smell unless the Slender was hostile. The archangel's wings rustled and he stepped close to him*
"Hello, you aren't a hostile Slenderman are you?"
The Slender took a few steps back as he noticed the strange being get up and move toward him. His words rang, but in a pleasant way. The Slender assumed the other wasn't hostile if he were asking that himself.
"I am friendly.." Slender said, being careful. He continued, "What are you..?"
He tilted his head, a little more relaxed.
The Slenderman wondered how humans could like such vile foods and drinks, but perhaps they tasted differently. The TV got him so distracted he almost forgot about how much Jeffâs energy was reviving him and also so relaxing. Strange for who he was, but the Slender didnât question it. When he felt the other lean back a bit, he lowered his arm a bit almost touching Jeff. He shuffled his legs more, until he found a more comfortable position, focusing on the TV a bit more.
âHumans are⊠interesting.â
Jeff didnât mind being crowded by the Slenderman, which was quite rare. He usually didnât like being touched either, so he supposed this was new. He attempted to relax, and did, but he was still somewhat nervous. âReally? How so?â He asked, taking a bite out of the candy-bar that he had previously forgotten, âI think we are quite boring.â His speech was somewhat muffled by his mouth being full.
"You're used to human things.. all this is new to me."
He said, trailing off. He wasn't really paying attention to the TV anymore, as he had a low attention span. Instead, he looked around the closed area, focusing on more small things. Even noticing the tiny bugs that lived in the crack on the other side of the building.
"I can tell you're one of the most interesting humans I've met in my lifetime sofar."
He noted, looking back toward him. Even though he doesn't really know the other, he knew that in time he'd grow to learn that was true. He thought that perhaps one day he could disguise himself somehow and go out in public. Or maybe some magical thing could turn him human. He likes being a Slender, though, he'd miss it. Miss talking to the animals, etc. Especially the height. He loves being tall.
He had so many questions, but decided to keep them to himself.

*Vern always loved forests because they were so quiet and peaceful. He sat down on an old stump and crossed his legs and eyes starting to meditate. His for wings rustled, but then they became still as the angel went into full meditation. The sound of the birds was like music to Vern and he relaxed even further. Then the angel heard some twigs snapping and he came out of his meditation looking around as his feathers ruffled. Perhaps it was a deer, or even a bunny*
