Oh my artistic queens, my angels of darkness.

artms' concept and lore relies on the members being hauntingly beautiful virtual creatures alienating humans into their world. In a context of uncertainty, social isolation, emotional closing off, dependence on technology, excruciating loneliness and the devastating need for escapism in late-stage capitalism, some days artms sounds just like what it feels like to be alive. In short, artms is cyberalienation if it slayed.

However, it does not feel like you're being alienated, if that makes sense. It consciously creates a little bubble where both the group and the listener roleplay flame and moth, the listener slowly lowering their guard and getting lost in their sound, in their little universe of soft cybersigilism aesthetics and infectious instrumentals.

artms' discography is pretty eclectic, as far as the pop register is concerned, from ethereal synthpop to dark industrial-sounding artpop, from city pop to classical crossover. You never know what the next single could sound like. However, album coherence and storybuilding makes listening to their pieces on repeat quite calming, in comparison. Depending on whether I want to accept how anxious I feel or to alleviate the pain in my head, I can go either way.

Is there anything sadder than the little chunk of Kikis Delivery Service when Kiki says “I used to really like flying before it was my job” and then gets so burned out that her magic stops working and she cant talk to Jiji anymore and she tries so hard to FORCE the magic that she breaks her mothers broom and stays up all night, alone, trying to make a new one and crying?

At an "Introverted Feeling Association" meeting

ISFP painted a 300x400 painting to represent their vision of Fi. Leaves before the inf can come at them with "constructive criticism".

INFP completes what ISFP represented with a beautifully written speech they read in a very soft voice. Then argues with the inf to counter their critics about ISFP and ends up crying.

ESFP came with no expectations but is actually captivated by ISFP's painting. Enjoys watching the debate, drama drama drama.

ENFP came with speakers. Plays epic music because they think it fits the atmosphere of the argument.

ISTJ likes ISFP's painting. Wonder how much it is worth.

INTJ discovered they had actual feelings. Reflects on how it will impact their life and projects of world domination.

ESTJ is being a Karen and complaining about how weak and idealistic the doms are. Makes INFP cry.

ENTJ agrees with ESTJ. Stared judgementally at ISFP and is the reason why ISFP left, they're so scary.

At a "Introverted Thinking Association" meeting

INTP didn't know they had to do a speech. Ends up improvising one, which is in fact quite accurate and helpful.

ISTP made a quick presentation. And they don't have to speak, they've recorded the whole thing with the Google Translate voice.

ENTP wanted to give a speech. INTP gives them a bit of their speaking time, and they spend it explaining how useful Ti is when making memes.

ESTP listens the Google Translate speech, then just tries to steal cake from the tert and inf gang.

INFJ listens to the speeches carefully. Kinda wants to join the chat in the back but someone needs to take notes and explain it to the Feelers in a F way afterwards.

ISFJ is kinda taken aback by the utter chaos in the room. Glad to find a chill chatting pal in ENFJ.

ENFJ sees how lost is ISFJ, so they make it their role to befriend them. Invites ESFJ to join.

ESFJ made a cake. Only shares with ISFJ and ENFJ. Saw ESTP stealing it but it's okay since they had a spare one.

At a "Introverted Sensing Association" meeting

ISFJ feels very nervous about their speech since they stuttered last time. Ends up stuttering again but everyone is supportive because they look like they're about to collapse.

ISTJ prepared a 100-slide presentation with graphics and everything. The angular stone of the meeting, but everyone falls asleep before the end, including them, because it's bedtime.

ESFJ baked cakes for everyone. Partially responsible for the fact that everyone is asleep, they're all digesting.

ESTJ is mumbling that the whole thing is pointless. Is annoyed by ENTP's comments, don't know what they are doing here.

INFP is trying hard not to cry because ISFJ's speech triggered a painful memory. Gets asked by INTP what's wrong, and cries.

INTP is awkwardly patting INFP's back to comfort them. While also trying to listen to the presentation, but quickly gives up that part.

ENFP is making a top list of the funniest ways to end this meeting ASAP. Is the last one awake because they're still coming up with new ones.

ENTP is criticizing the whole meeting, the presentation, while playing Among Us. Fakes falling asleep to escape ESTJ's stares.

At an "Introverted Intuition Association" meeting

INFJ arrives early, while already thinking about how inspirational their Ni speech have to be for everyone.

INTJ arrives late, or rather just on time for their presentation, by a back door. Give the most powerful Ni speech ever then try to leave unseen.

ENFJ gets really involved in the organization of the meeting. Makes sure the tertiary and inferior users feel welcome and integrated.

ENTJ is really enjoying the meeting and gathers info. Only one who came with a notepad.

ISFP is befriending ENFJ, and so glad to find someone to chat. Steals a sheet from ENTJ's notepad to doodle.

ISTP sits and doesn't talk, but everyone knows they're the one who installed the white screen and projector for the diaporama. Underrated.

ESFP came to learn more about their inferior function but ends up making fun of it. Later updates a misheard version of the speeches online.

ESTP tries to sneak out the whole time. Ends up staying because of ESFP's puns.
