Me and My Nightmares
So I have a question for the people of Tumblr and it requires some background. I have noticed for a long time that I am never afraid in bad dreams. I'm never getting chased. I am the one who gets angry. I am the aggressor. In my waking life, I'm a pretty chill person. Ask pretty much anyone and I'll be described and emotional even and level-headed. I usually end up being everyone's confidante. People are comfortable with me. I am a helpful person. I am always giving people tea. I have no idea why when I have bad dreams (thankfully rarely), I am the person chasing things down rather than getting chased. Last night, I told some freaky water ghost thing to back the fuck off and go back in the damn water, for example, and she obeyed me. Does anyone else have dreams like this? Is it weird that I haven't had a traditional sort of nightmare in at least a decade?
Tim goes through a window. Tim goes down some stairs. Tim goes up some stairs. Much of this chapter takes place out of windows and in stairwells.
A bunch of people jump, get dropped, or get tossed out a window.
So, I was bumming around the Internet, trying to see how actually to survive a post-apocalyptic scenario (the Internet is obviously the best source) and this is one of the first little gems I came across. It is kind of awesome. And while I could put all those supplies together, I'm pretty sure I wouldn't survive carrying them around. Also, it completely undermines what The Last of Us had taught me, which is that I only need gears, scissors, duct tape, sugar, fertilizer, alcohol, cloth, empty bottles, and bricks to survive.
New story. Remember that one survival horror game you or someone you know has been playing? It's kind of like that.
Braedon chats with Rand and likes what he hears. Tim doesn't do a lot of chatting. Wes and Brigid chat with some jerks and don't like what they hear.
Some fights break out in earnest. Some people get super mad.
Jo notices something weird. Braedon meets someone weird. Wes and Brigid are just kinda weird in general if you think about it.
Braedon gets impatient. Wes sees something he doesn't like.
Companion piece to A Thousand Times.
This is a post-apocalyptic little story sketch. It isn't very much in the holiday spirit, but writing this story is quite possibly one of my New Year's resolutions.
“Full Circle” is another story about some favorite characters out of the UNSETIC Files--namely, Tim, Kate, and AJ (though Brigid totally guest-stars).
Today’s tidbit is a short story about Tim McConaway. Brigid’s already told everyone that he was abducted by aliens, and while Wes may or may not have believed her, she was actually telling the truth.
For some reason, the definition of 'hiatus' is different here than... well, all the other places.
Brigid and Tim are joined by Wes, Tom, and Jo. They discuss ruckuses and conspiracies, and then, being who they all are, run into trouble with a quickness.
Wes hates waiting. Jo is competitive.
