Derek sat down. This was something he had been dealing with since his accident. It wasn’t all the time though, which he was glad about. It was just at times he was dealing with pain. Sometimes his arm, sometimes his leg, always on the left though. Its what took the impact. He was able to get through it most of the time with no fuss at all. But today wasn’t one of those times. He rubbed his arm as if this would help.

“ you’re asking me to help you out decorate a bunch of sick kids. ” there was a slight pause and a questioning look. “ okay fine, but only because it would be sad and pathetic to watch you lose two holidays in a row. ”
