"Fourth O in a Row."
"I hoped you would understand. You usually do. And it’s good to hear I am not alone with that. I mean I didn’t want to sound like a stupid cliché and complain about how hard we have it, but it’s reassuring when someone thinks the same.
We will all have our tasks We can do this only together, but I am sure, when we stick together, then we will manage it somehow. I still have to find my part, I guess, but from now on I plan not to disappear again and bury myself under homework.”
"Clichés become well-known largely because at some point or another, they're true. Honestly, I can't imagine having it much harder than this. Losing friends, family...it's almost too much.
And that sounds like a good plan, Millie. I'll hold you to it."
"No I presume not. No, I most likely could figure out the riddles but I would feel as if I would be imposing in on your house in all honesty."
"Well I do see a lot of students in the library there for other reasons besides being studious. They usually get kicked out though… perhaps the school is trying to discourage other activities?"
"Imposing? Nonsense! Honestly, most of us have our noses buried in a book far too often to even realize someone's entered the room. You'd be welcomed to the club with open arms.
You've got a point there. Still, I feel as though the school doesn't do much to actually promote or reward those of us who want to excel at our studies. I guess knowledge gained is reward enough."
"Fourth O in a Row."
"Sometimes I wonder how we made it through all o this. And then I can’t stop asking myself if it’s always this hard, or… well or if it’s just us."
"I am sure we will find a way, we will figure out something. As long we are together we shouldn’t worry all too much, right? I want to believe that’s true, I really do."
"I know what you mean, Millie. But all we can do is our best. I mean, we're still here right? We must be doing alright. I know every generation probably thinks this, but it seems as though we've been dealt a particularly bad hand.
We all want to believe that. We all just have to do our part. As for myself, despite how mind-numbingly dull it can be at times, I'm going to ask Madam Pomfrey to apprentice once again. I've still got so much to learn..."
2) My muse is given a chance to go back in time and re-do one single event.
A child, face stained with tears, is caught between two minds: stay with his father, who abhors his nature, or leave with his mother who supports his gifts. Initially, the choice seemed obvious; but a teenager peers out from those eyes now, in full knowledge of the events that would unfold in the boy's life. Internally, he pleads with his younger self to make the decision he wished he’d made years prior: forsake magic, abandon his path and remain home. He wrenches away from his mother's grasp with a sob, and with it changes the entire course of his life.
"Fourth O in a Row."
"I agree, although we can’t completly forget about the past, then that’s what brought us here. The past made us to the people we are know. However, I am sure we all will do our best for a future that we want to live in. All together."
"You're right, never forget; but get past, grow from, and build off of. Our lives up until this point are merely our foundations.
Now all that's left is to figure how best to create that future."
1) My muse finds an old journal they kept in their teens (or equivalent). After reading the entire thing, they fall asleep and dream of people they once knew, both friends and enemies.

"Fourth O in a Row."
"Unfortunately as much as we all need it from time to time, escaping in our own world is not a long time solution."
"I have to agree with you, I really don’t want to lose more people than I already had to. I don’t think any of us wants."
"Well, we're all back here now, that's what matters. We can't change the past, but we are able to shape our future."
"Fourth O in a Row."
"Old habits die hard. At least I know Jen and Char are alright."
"I know how you feel, or at least a part of it… I know how I felt after my mother… How I still feel. Everyone has their own ways to deal with it, but you have friends, f you ever need support. Thanks, it’s nice to be back."
"Sadly, far too many people share the same problems these days.
Still, I appreciate the sentiment. You're right, we need to stick together. Now more than ever."
"Fourth O in a Row."
"I hope, I can say it helped me to be away for so long. I mean chances are high I won the worst friend award while I was gone, so hopefully it was not for nothing."
"Oh damn, sorry. I shouldn’t have… I should have known better. I hope, I didn’t… Glad to hear you are feeling better."
"Don't be too hard on yourself. We all check out at times...Merlin knows I did.
No, it's fine. Really, it's not a big deal. Things change, and people come and go. What's done is done, and it's time to move on. It's...nice to have you back, though."
"Fourth O in a Row."
millicent-b:
"That’s true, although I am afraid I was in mine for too long."
"I am good, trying to catch up with what left from my social life. And you? Last time I saw you, you were in a bad shape, but then again, that was a long while ago."
"Sometimes that's what a person needs.
[Purses his lips and swallows hard at the mention of their last encounter, his eyes a little steelier than berfore] I'm...good. And well, that's just life, isn't it? It's no use sitting here and moaning about it. I've got better things to do than focus on that."
"Fourth O in a Row."
"I don’t doubt you did that. Yes, sorry for vanishing… I was lost in my own little world, I guess."
"That's alright, it happens. I suppose with everything that's happened, we all have our own worlds to retreat into sometimes.
How are you?"
"Fourth O in a Row."
"Sounds amazing, congratulations."
"Thanks, I've been putting in a lot of time in the...
Oh, Millicent. Hello. Haven't seen you around in a while."
"Fourth O in a Row."
"It's about time my hard work in Transfiguration finally pays off."
"I bet the Ravenclaw common isn’t nearly as wild as the Gryffindor common room can be. Don’t get me wrong, I love my house but it can be hard to study there. You’re right about those chairs, though! You’d think they would have better furniture."
"Wild and Ravenclaw aren't often heard in the same sentence, so you're likely right. And I'm sure if you ever wished to use the facilities you could stop by; it's not as though the Eagle's riddles would keep you at bay.
I'm glad someone else isn't fond of those bloody chairs. You'd think the school would be more encouraging of students spending long hours in the library. But what do we get as a reward? Lower back pain."

"I do that for a majority part of the year. I can’t do any studying in the common room with Harry and Ron around to distract me."
"The Ravenclaw Common Room isn't so bad for that; most of the time it's passable, especially if you're just reading. Those chairs in the library give me a sore back anyhow."
