I often think that Maester Gerardys had a favourite
Jace and Rhaena just rolled their eyes every time the Maester praised Luke for his perfect Valyrian pronunciation or for answering when he hadn't even prepared, just glanced at the book and did nothing else.
Lucerys had always gotten away with things they would have been severely reprimanded for, and being late for class or distracted by looking out the window instead of listening intently didn't count at all.
But it wasn't Luke's fault that he was just genuinely interested in helping the Maester look through the ingredients for the medicine, asking him about everything or discussing historical events? It was not for nothing that his mother called him a 'sweet boy' - he really was one without making any effort (and sometimes shamelessly took advantage of it)

Otto who wishes he doesn’t have to intercept Aemond and Lucerys’ letters, he doesn’t WANT to read all of this sappy, smutty, saccharine letters written by these pervs, but is forced to because
1) Otto must know all their secrets.

2) maybe this was all a ploy by Daemon to communicate to his spies in code.

Nobody appreciates how much he SUFFERS for this family, he is SO sick of this. And the letters aren’t stopping with time, if anything it has ESCALATED with age, these jerks went from one raven a week to two a day, he is SUFFERING.
