It’s been a while since i last made a personal art. I missed painting so much, because I’ve been wallowing in self doubt and have been refusing to do art for a long time, but finally, I found the strength to do what i love and experiment with watercolor and other media. This simple thing makes me really happy. :)

Hi. Today’s feature: Cacti & succulents. I’ve been wanting to make a mini terrarium for so long, but i didn’t get the time & money to invest in building one, so i paint them instead.

Been practicing the art of silk painting for two months now, and i'm excited to continue this on the real thing, on a gown i mean. It would really be awesome because everything about it is refreshing to me. :) And new things push me to study more, learn more, and pray more. Hopefully my client likes it.

Yey! after one month of procastinating... i finally completed this one! wooh! too many struggle on the plant parts. of course i never really dig in on the subject. but my experience in Vigan's hidden Garden inspired me a lot, heightens my appreciation on their design, their endless pattern, repetition, texture and all... super incredible. now i started collecting succulents. <3 hihi. it does many good things for me. it refreshes my mind once and a while just by looking at it.

Now putting all the bloody details together. i'm trying to apply what i just learned from GM14. mix the real and the unreal. so flat and modified plants are placed next to rendered ones. And yeah, happy that they look alright.  Goodnight friends.
