Very tough, though! There’s so much to pick from, and getting a solid “favorite” is like choosing between children. It’s near impossible.

However, “near” is what we’re banking on, so I think my final answer would be Panellus pusillus (commonly known as Ping-Pong Bats), one of over 70 known bioluminescent fungi species. They wrap around trees like so, and yes, they glow in the dark. They’re fairly common (present in every continent besides Africa and Antarctica), but even so, aren’t photographed often. I think they’re neat.

They’re not edible, and are mostly grown as a novelty. Very cool.

Hello. This might be an odd first post to the world, but I wanted to see if the lovely People of Tumblr could do me a favor.

I’m trying to settle a classic case of indecisiveness between myself and another person, and I figured a poll would be a good way to iron it out.

Say that we have two characters/people (of which the fandoms will be visible in the tags, but I’ll keep it vague; perhaps in the effort of keeping the most authentic results) that I am searching for a “ship name” for.

Character A is a lighthearted, comedic, understanding individual who has a proficiency with snipers and a passion for gardening. They are teasing, very dog-like, and loyal. They are certainly the “sunshine character” in this particular dynamic.

Character B is a bit colder, stoic, and prides themselves on their intelligence. They like space, science, most arithmetic, and a variety of other subjects. Anything intellectually stimulating will catch their eye. Almost robotic, they’re learning about more colloquialisms and regular social norms every day.

Unfortunately, just smashing their names together didn’t lead to anything of use.

This leads me to the big question, of these two ship names, which do you prefer?
