In the store around the corner of main street was a music shop he’d discovered that thankfully had the item he was looking for. Though their selections weren’t exactly the best (do these sheep even know how to calibrate them– how to use them?), they did have music players compatible with his headphones.

And so Neku stood between the aisles, carefully reading over through what he thought were his best choices, unaware that a man - possibly a worker - was fast approaching.

The music shop was where Lucio had been spending the majority of his time at ever since he’d arrived to Stella City. Surprising even him, the store had his albums as well, and the workers got excited when he stepped in. Odd, since he was a new arrival to the city, but apparently his fame spread far and wide.

Lucio’s fast approaching was actually him trying to get away from a couple of fans that had had a little too much of his attention by now. He loved his fans, but 30 minutes had been way too much! Instead, he’d try to...make distracting conversation with this kid!

“H-Hey man! Dope headphones, I ain’t ever seen any like that.”

He swerved over to stand at the boy’s side.

“Where’d you get ‘em?”

Lucio looked over all the different treats in the glass display case before him, tapping his chin as he looked at them pensively.

“Hmm. You got any recommendations? I’m not too good with food and the like, I just eat it, y’know? What’s good?”

People like this guy really stood out. I mean, it wasn’t every day that you saw someone in full cowboy garb just...looking at magazines in a bookstore. Lucio couldn’t help but stare out of the corner of his eye, gaze averting away from the magazine in his hands. Where...had he seen this guy before?

“Hey uh,” He spoke up, tilting his head a bit. “Do I know you? You look...real familiar, and that ain’t been happenin’ to me much since I got to this city.”

Waking up in a lush hotel wasn’t something that was new to Lucio. Yet something was really different this time. He didn’t recognize the city outside his window and as far as he remembered, he had no idea how he’d gotten here in the first place. The room was full of his equipment, decked out in posters from different concerts all over the world - including Stella City. That name seemed familiar.

That was where he was, wasn’t it? This place looked like he’d been living here in months. There was a letter on his dresser, and after he looked it over, he had a better idea of what was going on. The city felt strangly comfortable, and knowing that he was still a musician was comforting. Learning that he was also a radio host was exciting.

Well, Lucio was never one to get hung up on anything that was kind of a downer, so for now he’d be chill and roll with the wind. He did have to wonder if anyone else he knew was here...so he found his phone, also on his nightstand, and texted the first person that came to mind.

heyyy girl! you uh, you in stella city by any chance? i’m havin a real weird day, kinda feelin lost, would really like to see a familiar face. you in? meet me at the cafe by the gâteau château in an hour if youre down. 🐸

With that sent, Lucio set off to get ready for the day. Odd that he knew the name of where he was and neighboring areas but...whatever. He had someone to meet in an hour!
