Well, yes actually!

I started making bentos for Tsuru not too long ago. He’s a real sweetie about it too. We’ll sit and eat lunch together and I get to watch him open it up and read the notes I write him and get all flustered.

I like making my lunches cute!!! Admittedly they look a bit like a lunch one would pack for a child- just a bit more mature and larger in portion- but cutting shapes into the fruit, shaping the onigiri, putting themed picks into the meal, and using patterned napkins is all apart of the fun. Either way, Tsurugi gets themed lunches too, as much as he pretends to not like them.

Oh, and Teruya wants me to show him how I make my bentos. We’re actually meeting up tomorrow so I can walk him through how I meal prep and pack my lunches for the week!

I ate...one of those bunny onigiris you made that one time...there were so many and they looked so good, and I thought nobody would notice... and I was really hungry so I...I ended up eating it...It was so soft and delicious, I had trouble holding myself back from eating more... ; (◞‸◟)

But...seriously, that onigiri was heavenly. Both by appearance and taste. And the rest of the thing looked absolutely scrumptious. Is there any chance that I can pay you to make a bento for me? Haha! I’m really glad you liked that onigiri, Teruya. Don’t worry about that, you taking that lone onigiri isn’t too dissimilar from the way Tsurugi has been pawing through my bentos himself lately. You still left me plenty to eat so I really don’t mind. ( ⸝⸝´ ᵕ `⸝⸝)

I’m really flattered everyone finds my lunches so desirable, honestly. If it weren’t for Akane, I wouldn’t have the skills to make them to begin with, nor would they have the cutesy flair I make them with these days.

Don’t worry about paying me! If you wanna come over this weekend, I can show you how I make them— the trick is setting aside plenty of time to prepare them and to get most of them ready in advance. I can also show you the last minute preparations I make for each bento the morning of and all the gadgets I use to cut cute shapes out of the seaweed and shape the onigiri and whatnot while you’re over! I’m actually pretty sure I got some of the kitchen gadgets I use from Ōtori Mart.

— Except for when he smiles. When he smiles it’s really beautiful and I can’t even say I’m being ironic there, he does have a really sweet little grin he gives me occasionally. He doesn’t smile often at all, so it’s like a ray of sunshine when he does.

The others all groan whenever I bring Kinjo up, so it’s funny to get an ask about him, honestly. (he’s a real popular guy on here but none of my classmates really like him— except for me!)

so I thought about using the word ‘beautiful’ to describe Tsurugi Kinjo for another moment and you really should’ve seen that one time he wore a suit!!! I guess he is really beautiful when he cleans up! And his eyes are so sharp and really captivating in a way. Is that the right word? Haru’s definitely gonna see this and call me gay for it later, but it’s not gay to acknowledge it when you’re friends with someone so attractive.

It’s so interesting to see all my classmates in action, whether they’re studying or doing whatever they’re most talented at. It’s really obvious how different they are from regular students just in the way they carry themselves day to day…

I’ve been spending a lot of time in the library with Kinjo- I’m not particularly fond of reading but I’ll study along side him and the way he gets so engrossed in that criminal psychology textbook I found for him is really admirable. His notebook is so neat and organized, and the way he picks up on every little detail is so incredible. I wish I could be as meticulous as he is, but I guess I don’t have the patience for that sort of thing. Luckily, he doesn’t actually seem to mind talking me through his thought process. I’m a lot slower than he is, I wonder why he’s so patient with me. I think he might enjoy my company, but I do get worried I’m just bothering him sometimes.

Why choose Tsurugi's ideals rather than Rei's ? You know perfectly what happened back in the ballroom.

'What happened in the ballroom' is precisely the reason why I chose to follow in his footsteps. What good did it do, playing the guardian who looks out for everyone while still giving them space? Nothing. I couldn't save any of them. They all died, they killed each other, got murdered one by one, and there wasn't a damn thing I could do about it.

I know it sounds unhinged to you, what I'm doing to everyone, but I have no choice. I might have to take everyone's lives because of this, including mine…but I can't let anyone sacrifice their lives away like they did back then! If I do, everything that happened repeats itself, and I just...I can't let that happen again!!
