Fem! Ray’s “rebellious” piercing is a tongue piercing. When she first got it she talked with her head down for the first few months of having it, and once she was found out she was lectured to HELL. But you best believe she was allowed to keep it because she takes it out while out as Binary star
Fem! Binary Star would be seen in media as THE bombshell. However she’s just tons of cosmetics and digital touch ups in every piece of media. Everything Ray sees of Binary Star is completely separated from reality which doesn’t help at all with her distance with humanity
While seen as the ideal super powered woman, she cannot do any more than she is ordered to. The moment she challenges a male superhero’s spotlight she’s shut down and sent away.
While Fem! Ray is treated with misogynistic contempt in this AU, I believe she would be able to retire earlier than her male counterpart. The idea of a female superhero settling down to become a housewife is something PR would drool over
Would be forced into a maternal position for the sidekick hero’s the NAHA would set her up with, which while she prefers compared to romantic PR relationships she still despises it. NAHA has learned their lesson and only pairs her with female sidekicks to train, because of a past incident that the NAHA had the misfortune of cleaning up
Hasn’t had any PR relationships with other superhero’s for a while due to her age. While her love life was toyed with a lot during her 20’s for the sake of PR, as soon as she got older she was gradually given the maternal role
At one point she thought about ending the world right then and there when she received lingerie in her fan mail, but then thought about her beloved MC wearing it and boom. World saved. I like to think MC is more of a hero than anyone even when they’ve done nothing LOLLL
Her makeup as Binary Star is very “clean girl aesthetic”. Even though she wears it so much she knows little about applying makeup at all, and prefers comfort over beauty in her casual form. My version of Fem! Ray is quiet masc which helps her not be identified as her beloathed hero counterpart
Still very much a brat tamer. As Binary Star she is geared towards being more conservative when it comes to criticism, but as Ray she is straight forward and blunt.
