My thoughts on this activity is that mixing black is way harder than it seems. It’s a lot of mixing and changing too. If one mix tends to be for green for example, you need to add either a warm or cool red to give it a different color of black. You also need to take in account what texture will showcase the color the best.

Using nail polish and strips of newspaper I made a self portrait of myslef. I ran out of materials during the group assignment so I grabbed anything that was close to me and made something out of nothing. I like the way it came out, only blocks of color and not any drawn lines.
