intro
luke skipped town the second he graduated high school. it wouldâve happened sooner if it werenât for his best friend at the time; luke was prepared to be a high school dropout (and itâs not like he was a good student anyway) but they persuaded him to stick it out till the end. then graduation came and a week later luke was out of clayton and headed for georgia. in his head, it was just far enough to be able to escape his brother and just close enough to check in on his mom and sister
he struggled; the money he got from working hard, physical jobs barely covered his expenses and he never had a place for himself in the city. luke was moving constantly, sharing apartments with way too many strangers and always sleeping with one eye open. part of it was because of often coming short on rent. but then another part was because of the fear of his brother finding out where he lived. while it was easier to navigate his life without having andrew threaten or hurt him every day, his brotherâs already made enough damage for luke to constantly worry about his safety. and for that reason he never checked up on laurie or his mother in the end; it risked catching andrewâs attention, something luke absolutely dreaded. he never visited, never called, didnât have any money he could send them to help out. heâd get word from his old friends from clayton every once in a while, about how his family was doing but he never reached out directly
luke worked his way up in the world with the help of luck and ambition; he went from construction work to taking meetings in a suit and tie because he knew the right people and used it to his advantage; after a few years of struggling, he finally was able to catch a break; in his mid-twenties, luke moved in with his partner, had a steady home & work environment and finally had time for himself. and when he found out that andrew was no longer around, he finally made the effort to reconnect with his mom and laurie. he took a trip back to clayton with plans to stick around for a few weeksâexcept he left after one. while luke and his mom managed to come to an understanding, he and laurie didnât really see eye to eye. this time around, though, he kept in touch when he left
the blazen phoenixâs came into the picture rather unexpectedly. luke was aware of that part of claytonâs history; he was friends with a lot of the iron coffin membersâ kids and often hung around the clubâs spots for that reason but he was never interested in joining himself, either of them. the phoenixâs caught him at the right time; he was working on reconnecting with his mom and trying to convince laurie that he cared and that made him miss his past selfâhis roots and the person that he used to be back home. luke missed messy and chaotic. the club was a way to give himself that. he joined the club which cost him his relationship but luke was surprisingly fine with that. he had a new family to fall back on and the club appreciated having him around; luke was charismatic and resourceful, had connections in many different places and was definitely considered to be an asset. and his loyalty was eventually rewarded.
the club was back in town for two years when the previous president had to step down and luke took over; though being a VP wasnât all that different when it came to his responsibilities, becoming the leader was definitely a change of pace. it was also a cause for a lot of tension, since his sisterâs affiliation laid elsewhere. luke tries not to dwell on it too much and instead puts all his efforts into making sure that clubâs business runs as smoothly as possible
luke once again feels at home in clayton; he makes his money through investing into and managing properties, which also allows him to launder the clubâs money. heâs been in a stable relationship for the past two years, owns a house and has a family. through his hard work and the clubâs efforts, the blazing phoenixâs have grown stronger and better over the last few years and lukeâs determined to drive their success even further

his best friend from when he was younger; someone around the same age, even better if theyâre affiliated with the iron coffins now because Drama; they were super, super close in their teenage years and for the first few years after luke left but then with time, their relationship got weaker and eventually disappeared, especially after luke joined the phoenixâs; friends to enemies to what the fuck is going on, basically
his partner; this is probably going to go as a WC to the main Soon but in the meantime if anyoneâs interested???? lukeâs been together with his partner for two years and heâs either a civilian or someone loosely affiliated with the club; i have a headcanon that lukeâs partner has a sixteen year old sister whom he has custody over so he and luke just sort of raise her together in this little family theyâve made for themselves. theyâre committed and they love each other but thereâs also room for a lot of tension because of lukeâs position within the club
someone who works for him; somewhat of an assistant that helps him take care of his business; lukeâs pretty hands on and likes to do things himself but sometimes he does require an extra pair of hands to deal with paperwork and documenting the money flowing through the properties he buys and manages. theyâve developed a pretty close friendship over the last two-three years of luke showing your muse the ropes and teaching them all he knows to make everything run smoothly. theyâre probably lukeâs right hand for any non-club related business
