The ancient dragon watches on in silence from a fair distance, gauging what the human happened to be doing. They held this strange device, flicking and tapping at it occasionally, making a variety of expressions when stopping on something. He couldn’t make heads or tails of it; human technology went beyond his understanding by a good margin.
Still, AncientGreymon couldn’t shake how troubled Kouji looked. True, he hadn’t known the child personally during the events of Lucemon’s second defeat, but this didn’t leave him feeling good.
Rather than sit on his haunches, he found himself approaching as quietly as he could until calmly seating himself next to the Holder of Light, eyes toward the sun hanging over the distant horizon.
“Don’t try to hide it– there’s something bothering you. Blame it on your friend if you wish, but… I’m worried. Speak your mind, Child of Light.”
【 ☽ 】 The air changed as the Beast flew overhead and Kouji stopped in his tracks, listening. He knew what it was though part of him wanted to dismiss the thoughts racing through his head.He stiffened, eyes drawing closed as he deeply breathed.
【 ☽ 】 Coming closer, he felt his entire soul shiver as the ancient presence made itself known. He had to stay calm and not make any outbursts -- no matter how much he wanted to run, he simply could not.
【 ☽ 】 As the Dragon seated next him, Kouji’s eyes, full of dark and worry, opened and his head turned to meet the other’s gaze. He was obviously worried...though it was an enigma as to why the great spirit would even possibly be feeling that way.
【 ☽ 】 He almost felt numb, standing next to such a great being, it felt as though his very being was undergoing a sort of test. His hands began to tremble -- how unlike the Warrior of Light.
【 ☽ 】 “I am--” He couldn’t even speak he was so stressed. Looking up at the ancient Digimon, he queried. “Could we go flying?” Possibly it could help relieve some of the edge he felt.
