Sunny and quiet rule everything
one thing i really like about sonetto is the way she interacts with the world with a certain almost naive curiosity and how she is also very oblivious to certain things such as in her trailer where wonders about having to pay for a bus ride. girl really is ahead of her time and said free public transport for everyone.

the timekeeper approaches with a stack of newspaper underneath her arm, careful not to crumple it when holding it out. " i've picked up today's newspaper while out with regulus today & thought to bring you a copy as well. don't worry, you can keep it. "
a request had been made the night before. sonetto had not found the time to read the newspaper yet, but by the time she came back it was gone. she had looked around for it, only to find out regulus had thrown it out. ( ' please don't throw them away, i hadn't finished reading it yet. ' ) such pity too because there was an article that she actually liked. the writer of the article had their way with words and admittingly she found herself scanning the newspaper to see if they had published another article.
the timekeeper must have overheard her conversation with regulus.
“ timekeeper ? ” she looks up from the newspaper that is held in front of her before gazing back up at vertin. the gesture itself is enough to make her smile. they didn't need to get an extra copy, but she appreciates it. “ thank you, i'll go read it straight away. ” better safe than sorry and not risk the chance of regulus throwing it away by accident again. the comment is overheard by regulus herself and in the background can a ' hey ! i said i was sorry, ' be heard.
“ was there anything that caught your interest in today's newspaper ? ”
he scoffs at the light jab. there was nothing amusing about such age jokes -- especially if he was at the butt of such things. he was still young at heart. there was truth to it, though not necessarily a shop but a forgotten corner in the shadows. covered in debris, now that he thinks about it but having a tent to himself was leagues better and preferred.

though s'hua is very amicable and charismatic if you pay close attention to him you can see that he always keeps people at a physical distance. like imagine celebrities taking pictures with their fans and you see their hand hovering over the fan's shoulder? that is what he does too. or when you try to touch a cat and they just move away so that you won't be able to touch them. some perceive this and begin to think that his friendliness is faked, but that is not the case at all.
his time being held captive with pirates has left him rather touch avoidant due to the punishment he received for standing up against the captain. it's also something reflected in his chosen jobs as they are the jobs that put the most distance between him and his targets.
housekeeping. i updated the graphics on this blog and updated the muses page on carrd. i also cleared my inbox. with the release of reverse 1999 ( which i have been absolutely loving so far ) i'll be adding sonetto, forget me not as trial muses as well as silverwolf (hsr) . also yes i'll be adding argenti at some point.
emil's fondness and love for music started with his father who taught him how to make a whistle out of a leaf. he wasn't very good at it at first, but with enough practice he got the hang of it. the first musical instrument he bought was a lyre which he used to play for his two children before bed. during his travels just before ARR, he acquired a violin as well and uses it to perform in the three major cities to earn coin for himself and his daughter.

similar to alphinaud, mana's swimming skills are well, disastrous. she never had to learn how to swim and her mentor never bothered either because they were living in a forest. and while there were lakes she just never tried; nor ever bothered asking someone for help because she was never that social with anyone to begin with. so after the scions witnessed her jump into the water in a similar fashion as alphinaud ( and then needed to proceed to fish her out of the water ). she along with alphinaud got forced to take swimming classes.

kuras is very familiar with the city : he's been one of their longest residents after all. knowing every single shortcut they can take. still with how saya seems to be gravitating towards him and the fact that she is still recovering he opts for a more straightforward route.
