During training, he slips and Talia has to come up the an excuse to take him out of today’s training plan to get him comfortable. He’d ashamed of it when he recovers, but in the moment he’s fond.

Caregiver! Batman + Autistic Little

He's not an openly sweet caregiver, but when it counts he's always there to comfort you as best he can.

He has a whole playroom in the BatCave for you. (All of it is bat-themed. He sees no issue with this.)

He lets you hide in his cape, no questions asked.

His job as Batman is very dangerous, but he doesn't want to leave you by yourself, so he suped-up the Bat Mobile to keep you extra safe while he's fighting crime. (He even put a little TV in there for you.)

Every now and then he presents you with a plushie version of one of his villains. (Alfred helps him make them.)

The Bat Cave is always cool, dark, and quiet, making it a sensory haven.

Every night you hand him a bedtime story, and he faithfully reads it, deadpan as ever, but still doing his best.

He always makes sure that Alfred makes your safe food as consistently as possible. (Even though Alfred has never made a mistake on that front.)

He once gave you a bat-themed baby mobile. He likes to call it the Bat Mobile.

He has a hard time saying 'no' to you, so you always have plenty of toys.

Like, no this character isn't using a pacifier or gripping onto a plushie or padded or wearing childing clothing, but they are hiding behind their most trusted person in the friend group, either a parental figure or close friend, when things feel too big and new.

They aren't crying out for mommy or daddy, or throwing a tantrum, but they're sobbing to themselves in the middle of the night, clutching their pillow like a person, because everything feels too big and too much

They aren't burying themselves in pacifiers, teethers, or plushies, but they're chewing on their shirt or hand when they get anxious and hugging their pillow to their chest like a lifeline

Can I request some Duke babysitting regressed Dami? Or whoever you weant I just need Duke content

Anon, you're gonna be Very Happy because I am planning things with him. For now;

Duke is an excellent big brother, and loves watching out for his little siblings

He's very good at pushing through Damian's embarrassment surrounding affection, especially because he doesn't really care much about Bruce's rules (such as keeping out of the public eye/not interacting while one is in civvies)

He often drops by to pick Damian up from school. Since they're in different areas of the campus, he'll go grab Damian and walk him out to the gate where Alfred is. He keeps a hand on Damian's arm the whole time, and Damian may protest, but he secretly loves it.

Duke is definitely one of Damian's favorite babysitters. He loves all his siblings and family and friends, but Duke is so fun to hang out with.

Duke will paint and draw with him, and show him how to do fun crafts, and doesn't mind if things get a little messy because they can always clean up when they're done

(and he does make sure Damian helps with that)

Duke is also really good at cooking and baking, and will let Damian help him, especially with decorating treats

Duke teaches him how to use spray paint properly and shows him the cool tricks

They go on walks around Gotham sometimes, Duke brings Damian to the places he usually helps out with, or Damian leads him around to find stray animals to help

Damian can sometimes be very intense while little and Duke thinks it's cute

Damian will walk in and put his hands on his hips like "I demand we watch Go, Diego, Go!" And Duke will ruffle his hair and be like "sure, little dude," before going to find the remote

It's not uncommon to see Robin perched on the back of Signal's motorcycle, or being given a piggyback ride home after a long patrol

They also watch things like Transformers and Power Rangers together and Duke lets Damian play with his old action figures

Duke sometimes functions as a sort of nightlight for Damian, since little Damian can get spooked fairly easily

He's also one of the people Damian instinctively seeks out when stressed or after nightmares, since he doesn't feel as embarrassed due to Duke regularly initiating affection without teasing him about it

They have pillow fights in the living room (one of the many living rooms)

Usually it ends with Damian asleep against Duke's side, tucked under a blanket

They like playing Batman and Robin together (with Damian as Batman, of course)

Duke also takes Damian to the park a lot, and teaches him to just have fun on the equipment and play pretend with what it is

Damian's got a strong imagination, but not much practice in applying it to things like making the tower of a playground slide into a castle/spaceship/whatever

Duke will sometimes be middle regressed while taking care of Damian, since he can still be a really good big brother

He totally asked his mom how to make a baby bottle and freaked her out for a minute

regressors who are just so, so sleepy and their cgs who know and are already preparing for put down.

infant regressors who cry and whine, feeling their body tighten up and the blanket of sleep making them cranky and their caregiver who picks them up gently. cooing at them and letting their little baby cling to them till they settled in their crib.

toddler regressors who yawn while they put up a fight, claiming they're too big for nap time and their wide awake anyways. their eyes falling heavy and the rapid movements of play time become slow and steady, words between action figures and dolls becomes mumbled. caregiver who chuckles at the scene and makes sure to sit close by, giving their kiddo the chance to cuddle up before sending them to dreamland.

kid regressors who know they're drifting off and can get themselves to bed with no problem, but still sheepishly ask their caregiver to help them. getting them tucked in, mumbling and rambling about different things in the process, and one final kiss on the temple to seal it all together.

teenage regressors who think they're too old for naps, but the weight of the world exhausts them. who texts their cg about taking a nap, sending emoticons to match and explaining it feels childish in a way. and their caregiver smiling to themself as they explain you'll always be their baby.

- littles who talk a lot: chatty littles, you guys are so fun! i hope you get to a point where everyone in your life wants to hear everything you have to say :)

- littles who vocal stim/babble: i hope can you babble as much as you want, you're allowed to take up space!

- nonverbal littles: you aren't causing problems by being nonverbal, you arent a burden or "too much work"

- littles who have a hard time communicating their needs: you deserve to be heard, even if it takes you a while to say it <3

- littles who throw tantrums: big feelings are hard, and being little doesn't have to always be pretty and fun. its okay to feel big feelings!

- picky eaters: im proud of you for eating, and its okay to not always want to try new things! any food is better than no food, always 💙

- permaregressors: you are not a burden or a hassle just because you're little

- traumatized regressors: i know big feelings can get really scary and upsetting, and i promise its okay to feel them.

you're a good kid, bubs. dont let anyone tell you otherwise 💙

Huntress babysitting Damian headcanons.

Helena isn’t a part of Batman’s clan, nor does she really want to, but like it or not, she does have a link or two do those in the flock. Whether it be her partnerships with Oracle, her older sister approach to Tim, and her… ex relationship with Nightwing, she’s not exactly free from debt.

Which brought her to now. Because Nightwing, Dick Grayson, wanted her to “keep an eye on Robin.” Batman was away on some business, so he apparently was taking up the main protector job.

Helena doesn’t like owing people favours, and shouldn’t Robin have plenty of babysitters, people in the family? But, eventually, on the promise of a clean slate if she does this little few hours of caretaking, she does eventually agree.

Dick forgot to mention that "Robin" was regressed. Which made his guidelines of stuff Helena had to pack a lot more understandable.

In any case, after some awkward bonding where she's using her teacher voice, she lets him ramble about animal facts for a while. It's... pretty endearing.

He eventually falls asleep as they're reading together and she carries him to bed. It was... pretty nice, if she's honest.

Although, now the next time she has an argument with Batman, she can say she babysat his kid, so he should watch how he talks to her.

It's the important stuff.

Lil scenario for this:

Damian arrives in his Robin uniform (bcuz of course he does) but hes too fussy for her to change him since he 'wants to help'. So of course she sends him on a super important mission to retrieve her purse, but hes the world's nosiest toddler so he goes through her drawers until she finds him drawing on the floor with some papers he found. He ends up yapping about what he drew for a few minutes before she leads him back to the living room. She turns around for a second and then hears her pots and pans banging since he got into them and is using them as drums. Its gonna be a long afternoon..
