Had to do a turnaround for my character design class so now I'm putting it here.

I haven't really posted in awhile because been doing school. Which isn't to say I don't make art, I am in going to school for illustration afterall, I just haven't really made any personal work and the school projects just don't feel like me.

Anyways! I'm in Character Design and it's giving me a chance to work on my own characters/stories. For the first time I really put thought into this character's clothing (the greyscale image was when I just had a basic idea of clothing) and I like how it is coming along. I am being nudged to add more accessories and such which is valid. My only issue is that I'm being pushed to bring out more obvious vampiric characteristics when I really wanted it to be more subtle for the story I had in mind but I'll just roll those back if I do ever make this webcomic.

Some final pieces I did last semester for my Life Drawing and Illustration classes

I can't remember tumblr's rules on nonsexual nudity in art so I'm not going to post all my Life Drawing final works but the last drawing is my final figure drawing in which I was allowed to clothing as long as I kept the proportions correct so I can show that one off (it's also my favorite from that class)

I had a lot of fun working on this. I feel like it shows off what I've learned the past semester pretty well. I'm glad I started going to art college. I feel it has already started improving my art and it's only been half a year

my bestie benefits the most from me getting stressed out about school work because I’ll start drawing her things to take a break from school drawings lol

She loves lunar moths and her screenname is luna so I made her a little character to go with it

In continuation of my school project I have illustrated an Aurora Butterfly. A butterfly that can camouflage itself in the dancing lights 

Side note: I keep forgetting my boyfriend is colorblind until after he comments that he likes my pieces even though he is red/green colorblind and most of my works are in those colors. I just get so excited to show him what I made it slips my mind lol

Mushroom Take-over

My class had us pick themes for our semester’s projects and I went with perseverance of nature. This is 1 of out of the 8 pieces I have to make. I am in love with how the (Jack O’Lantern) mushroom is coming out of the school.

Some fun doodles I’ve worked on this last week. Got two cartoon ferrets, a goblin boy, and Flick from the newest Animal Crossing game
