My Kirby (alternate) universe lore for thee
I should probably gave out the lore of my (dark matter swordsman-centric) Kirby au (i finally named the Postal-Resurrection AU), since i've made arts about them WITHOUT giving a single context on what's happening.
Sypnosis: Dark Matter Swordsman, after being slain by Kirby two times, was resurrected by some unknown means (will be elaborated in the future... Probably). Dark Matter Swordsman, taking the name Blade, was forced to live alongside the Poplanders. Fortunately, all isn't dark and melancholy for him as Gooey—his adoptive younger brother—is also living with him on Dreamland.
First, some notes about my dark matter:
-Zero and Kirby are related (lore about them being the children of Void or something, i forgot and is too lazy to look it up)
-Zero is incapable of happiness. Guy is a sassy, snarky, and overall miserable fella who's stuck chasing conquest as a result, thinking that happiness is when he have controls over everything (spoiler: it's not)
-Dark Matter are bees. Space angry bees. They have castes ([not sub-species oops] i'll probably elaborate [never] on it later)
-Take place after Forgotten Lands
-Cappytown have modern technologies—phones, tv, computers (thanks to a certain grieving daughter)
And finally for the main star of the show, Dark Matter Swordsman:
-Technically genderless, but prefer to use masculine pronouns
-An adult Dark Matter (probably around 18-19), he used to be a soldier (i called them Marauder because dark matter gave me the vibe of SWTOR. The sith especially) of the Dark Matter before being demoted to a scout thanks to a failure he refused to tell anyone about, not even to his young adoptive brother and his only companion Gooey (yes, DMS is lonely, and that he invaded Popstar because he couldn't say 'wanna be my friend?')
-Talk about surviving, he now works as a postal delivery courier (i mean, he could fly AND practically go anywhere. Plus that's the only job that accepts him; his fellow postal dees admiring him as some kind of dark knights that have fallen from grace [ouch])
-Also an admirer of Meta Knight and his meta-knights
-Like his crazed father, DMS (Blade) is sassy. And so does Gooey, sometimes ('"Don't tell me what to do!" Huffed Blade and Gooey in unison'). Blade also like making quick witty jokes, loves dry humor, and uses his own tragic past and trauma as a fuel to his jokes (and also coping mechanism). Despite that, he toned down his adult jokes when he's playing with the local cappy childrens, because he loves them. He also likes to talk to himself occasionally.
-Blade and Gooey lives on their own apartment somewhere in the outskirt of Cappy Town, though Gooey prefer to crash at Kirby's place.
