Alright, first time doing an ULTRAKILL Ask/RP blog, what could possibly go wrong? Anyways, my main is @metalheaded-freak

So, here are the ground rules:

1. NSFW asks are allowed, just… keep said asks to a minimum, ok? Sure, I’m an adult, but even I have limits.

2. Minors, please, don’t interact unless you know EXACTLY what you’re getting into, dark subjects will be covered.

3. Shipping is sorta allowed? But my main ship is Gabv1el, so… leave those two outta it, aight?

4. This Mindflayer has a name now and it’s Irida, feel free to address her by it if you want. She’s also Commander-In-Chief of the Lust layer armies.

Update: Mindflayer “Irida” has a new design! She has undergone a holy metamorphosis along with minor cosmetic changes! Design update under the cut!

Update: Decided to finally draw Irida’s squadron, known as the “Neon Barrage” they’re a group of four Mindflayers who answer directly to Irida.

*..A dark figure travelled through the halls until it found itself in front of Irida's room, soon knocking the door and entering. It was night again, and in front of her was an archangel of pitch black wings, a crow mask, and.. no star between the horn. His wings were dropped, he was.. sad, it was easy to tell, he was mourning..*

She jumped in surprise, still “breathing” heavily as broken, sob like sounds still escaped her, something… had gone horribly wrong in your absence… the ends of her six wings were glowing a mix between dark blue, dark purple, and black… she… was also mourning… and it didn’t take long for her to not only recognize you… but to also notice the absence of Taika…

…A-Archangel C-Cassiel..? I… w-what b-brings… y-you h-here..? A-And… w-where’s… T-Taika..?

“..She.. W-won't come again-..”

*He took his mask off, tears falling from his eyes as Irida could easily notice how much time he had spent crying.. He was heavily shaking now that he mentioned her, he sat on the chair and left the helmet on the floor while trying to calm down.. He took deep breaths and moved both of his hands to his head, curling and trying his best to calm down..*

…N-No…

She seemed to piece it together immediately, Taika was dead, her soul had been killed… there was no other explanation… forgetting her own grief, she got up and hugged you, her six wings wrapping around you without fail…

…A-Archangel Cassiel… I-I’m… so sorry…

“I-Im so s-sorry.. I-..I j-just wanted t-to make s-sure you were o-okay-.. I-.. can't l-lose you t-too.. H-he-..”

*Cassiel couldn't talk well, it was obvious.. He had spent so many time crying, screaming and forcing himself to talk, his throat hurt so much, as if it had been opened again, and again.. as if a blade was constantly opening it, never letting him rest. He had choked on his own blood for at least three times by now. He broke totally when she hugged him, everything in him broke as he started sobbing loudly, shaky hands going to hug her back..*

She decided to ask questions later, you needed her in that moment, and even though her heart beat had increased to a dangerous degree upon hearing the venom in your voice for split second… he had something to do with it…

…T-Tell me everything later… A-Archangel Cassiel… I-I’m here for you…

*It took him about 5 or 7 minutes to calm down, and yet he was still shaking and crying softly, he looked at her, and breathed slowly..*

“I-.. Im ready to tell you now.. But please, don't hate yourself.. This is.. my fault..”

*He said and then began..*

“..I.. went to see Samyaza.. I argued with him, I told him to never hurt you again.. b-but h-he.. wants you.. again.. I-.. tried to stop h-him.. but he found Taika.. s-she had been hiding in my mask.. I didn't even k-know she was there.. H-he.. crushed her.. until she was nothing more than stardust..”

Her six wings drooped completely as she froze in both shock and horror… Taika was killed… by him… just because you went to try and stop him… her body began to tremble as she held back more sobs… of course he wanted her again… why else would that damned Providence be stalking her 24/7..? She… should’ve known… but the realization hit like a bullet… it hurt so much…

…A-Archangel… C-Cassiel… I… t-this is… I-I’m so…

“...I- Im so sorry Irida.. This is all my fault.. If was more careful about not bringing Taika there.. I m-may have stopped him.. I- just.. c-couldn't.. Im so fucking useless..!”

*He said, sobbing.. violently, hugging her again, never letting go.. He couldn't lose her..*

She immediately hugged you back, trying to not only calm you down, but to also calm herself down… none of this was your fault… if she were to hazard to guess… Taika followed… an innocent mistake… turned fatal… no one was to blame… except for him…

…P-Please… A-Archangel Cassiel… d-don’t blame yourself..!

*Cassiel couldn't even talk at this point, just cry.. and sob. He hugged her gently yet somewhat tightly, his wings were totally dropped, shaking..*

She tried so hard to hold back her own sobs again, but they immediately came out… she couldn’t hold it together… seeing you in such a state… knowing that he was the one who killed Taika… she was the reason why you decided to confront him to begin with…

*Cassiel cried, begging her to be strong and brave, he knew what he was planning, or at least what he wanted to do, and he didn't know if he should interfere again since.. he would not have any more mercy.*

Her body began to shake again, all of this happened because of her… she was the catalyst… no one would ever be safe in her presence now… he’d do anything and everything to get her back… even if that meant not just killing a child soul… but also deciding to desecrate her in front of everyone…

…I… c-caused all of this… A-Archangel Cassiel… he… w-will stop at nothing… t-to get me back… I… can feel it…

“I-.. It isn't your fault Irida.. The only one guilty here is him.. Please don't.. don't say that again! My daughter didn't die because of you! He killed her! No one else but him! He-.. he won't- st-op.. B-but everyone is h-here to protect you.. r-right? Archangel Michael i-is working on stopping him too, even B-Bezaliel.. the only holy Watcher that's left..”

She paused when you brought up Bezaliel… a name she didn’t recognize… and… he was a Watcher as well..? Someone who worked with… him..?! The ends of her six wings immediately began glowing pitch black again…

…A-A… W-Watcher..?! I-I thought they… a-all died..! H-How is… there still o-one remaining..?! And… w-what do you mean… h-he’s helping you..?! A-Archangel Cassiel..! H-He… worked for… h-him… r-right..?! I-Isn’t this… r-really bad..?!

“Irida! Calm.. down.. Bezaliel is not a threat.. When Samyaza sinned, every Watcher followed, but not Bezaliel, he is still holy, he was and is still abused physically and mentally by him.. He hates him.. He would never work for him again, please.. trust me..”

*Cassiel began hugging her and petting her as soon as he heard what she said, knowing how he didn't specified.. he felt guilty about that..*

…S-Sorry… Archangel Cassiel… I… had no idea that such a being actually existed… I… couldn’t help but panic when I heard that he is a Watcher… but… if he’s also suffering… because of him… I… have no reason to fear him…

*Cassiel explained, petting Irida's back softly, trying to make sure she relaxed..*

She tilted her “head” to the side slightly, all of this information was so… strange to her, yet she didn’t have any reason to doubt you, even if it was very hard to believe that a holy Watcher still existed, she took your word for it

…A-Archangel Cassiel… if it isn’t too much trouble… can you tell me more about him..? I… want to get a better understanding of who he is… and if he truly will be of assistance to me…

“Mhm.. I've already told you but.. I see him as a brother, he has always been with me, he is called "The Shadow of God", he is able to travel through shadows and he can manipulate them. When.. Samyaza went to Earth with all of the Watchers, Bezaliel was the only one that refused to follow.. He-.. He got abused physically, he has a lot of scars.. Samyaza still.. abuses of him but mentally..”

*He said, trying to remember as much as he could.*

She jumped ever so slightly upon hearing you mention that Bezaliel travels through the shadows… but the information made her think back to all those times she swore they moved… was he watching over her..? Long before that memory reignited itself..?

…No wonder why I felt like I was being observed from the shadows… long before that damned memory resurfaced… Archangel Cassiel… so maybe he was watching over me..? …”The Shadow of God”… such an interesting title… and… I feel as though I know why he abused him…

“Yes.. Maybe he did, as I said he is very sweet.. He.. cares about everyone that has been a victim of Samyaza.. Y-you.. know why?.. Please, tell me..”

*Cassiel's eyes went wide as he heard her..*

She seemed to be thinking on the idea of shadows being a shield to the darkness that she feared so much, but the second she heard you question her regarding the abuse, her six wings drooped and she “sighed” sadly…

…Archangel Cassiel… he’s very narcissistic, and doesn’t take too kindly to those who are below him… having titles that make it seem like they’re more important… so… Bezaliel being known as “The Shadow of God”… definitely agitated him… I know this because… he hated my full title… being that of a Greater Blood War Machine… so… he used that hatred as fuel… for more violent instances of desecration…

*Cassiel trembled as he heard her, hugging her again and petting her.. staying like that for a while..*

“Im so sorry.. Im-.. I wish I could help.. B-but I can't-! Im not that strong.. Im so sorry, Irida..”

*..His mood seemed to change suddenly, tears filling his eyes as he kept hugging her.. If only he could answer and tell her that yes, she would be safe with Bezaliel's shadows..*

She didn’t say a word, instead, she kept you in her embrace, allowing a soothing warmth to emanate from her body while also humming softly… her situation, both past and now present… it truly was horrible… she hadn’t felt so trapped and useless before… and seeing those she cares about break down into tears because of it… she wishes she could just… turn back time…

…Don’t apologize, Archangel Cassiel… none of this is your fault… it never was… and you are strong… way stronger than you think…

“Y-yet it's not e-enough-!.. I tried fighting against him.. and he didn't get affected by my attacks! I-Im so sorry.. I wish I was t-there earlier.. I-I could have saved y-you.. and Bez-..”

*Cass kept spiralling, getting worse and worse, sobbing as much as he did earlier, shaking.. and every time he remembered how this was supposed to be for talking to her, he blamed himself more.. he was just an attention seeker, wasn't he?*

She immediately recalled how hard she fought against him, but nothing worked… it was like her strength and electricity were nonexistent threats to him… he… was just too strong… and could easily overpower anyone…

…Archangel Cassiel… unfortunately… I sealed my own fate… if only I chose a different layer to call home back then… none of this would’ve happened… but I couldn’t resist the pull of the Lust layer… I… had to choose it…

*Cassiel began to feel nauseous and moved away from the hug, starting to take deep breaths, closing his eyes.*

…A-Archangel Cassiel..?! Are you ok..?! Fuck… I… feel like I’ve seen this before but… I’m gonna call for Airmed just to be safe..!

*Cassiel didn't answer, he just kept trying to calm down, tears streaming down his face as he tried very hard to stop the nausea.. All of his wings were still.. frozen in place, something was wrong..*

She immediately calls for her Combat Nurse who wastes know time in rushing into the room, upon seeing you, the other Mindflayer seems to understand immediately

Commander Irida, please keep him still. I need to do a scan. And whatever you do… don’t let him fall forwards, ok?

…U-Understood..! I’ve got you, Archangel Cassiel… just stay strong..! T-This won’t hurt or take long at all… I promise..!

Alright, let’s see what we’ve got here… …as I thought… Commander Irida, stay with Archangel Cassiel. I need to go grab certain equipment.

Archangel Cassiel, I’m gonna need you to lay down for me. There’s space on Commander Irida’s bed for this specific scan. All that I ask is that you don’t move around too much, ok?
