[34] 🚨THEORY #34🚨
(LO EpX&X) In Shakespeare’s ‘Macbeth’, Hecate is the leader of ‘The Three Weird Sisters’, who are actually the Fates. She leads the Three Sisters to bring Macbeth to his downfall. Are Hecate and the Fates in the same way related in LO as they are in Macbeth? [🐝: 🚨And is Hecate leading the Fates to bring Persephone and Hades together in the same way that she was leading them to bring Macbeth to his downfall?🚨] [?: I doubt it. Hecate is mainly about the chaos and is goddess of witches, I believe. Hecate also treats Hades in a caring familial way. I don't think she would lead him to sorrow because the fates said so. She would say "Screw plans! I want drama!"] [🐝: I see your point! But I thought maybe since Hecate hinted that the Fates could help him fill in the blanks, and Clotho allowed him to have the memory-tape, that they’re both trying to bring them together.]
