still on my merthur bs because i love these two and i needed some pose-warmup for a commission.

thought/inspiration behind this one came from the movie “let me hear it barefoot” (beautiful movie btw) where the main characters - especially one of them - have a hard time open up about their feelings, and so they retort to play fight to get an excuse to touch more intimately. Now Arthur and Merlin aren’t strangers to some physical touch, but especially Arthur clearly has a hard time showing larger gestures of contact (like hugs) and I just believe this would’ve been one way around it that (at least for some time) wouldn’t require to address the underlying reason to why being that close was desired to begin with.
