This week was a sweet victory

The first one shows that my little nephew wasn't feeling well and he immediately rushed to the hospital and since no one is available that time I was the only one who accompanied him.

The second one was just a silly photo I took because I have a date(?) with my suitor in the 3rd picture so biggie just some teenage puppy love.

The 4th one was the before the 4pic 😆 I wasn't expecting to go to the doctors since in the afternoon I had to go to the hospital because for a regular check up but boy I have a UTI so they injected me hahaha.

The 5th photo was the preparation for our P. E. day for the upcoming friday in the bottom one.

These are the latest one with a sweet victory of us for the facilitators because all our hardwork has finally paid off and no other than that was the other students we're enjoying and while the others don't base on the "never play unfairly" note by the confession wall— and last but not the least was the group photo of us the facilitators because not only we succeeded but we also made a great team!

This set of memories feels like different chapters of the same story.

There are fun selfies with friends — playful, confident, full of energy. There are night photos where everything feels alive, laughing under the dark sky, throwing peace signs like we own the moment. Then there are quiet photos too — leaning against a tree, sitting in dim light, looking thoughtful. It shows both sides of me: the loud and the soft.

The black and white picture was with my suitor. That one feels intimate and calm. It doesn’t need colors to stand out. It captures a simple, real moment between us — something quiet but meaningful. It’s the kind of memory that doesn’t shout, but stays.

The family group photo was during my birthday. That day felt warm. Seeing everyone gathered, smiling and celebrating with me made it special. It wasn’t just about turning a year older — it was about being surrounded by love.

And the one with the TV was taken in the DVC lobby. It’s such a simple shot, but it represents those in-between moments at school — waiting, hanging out, just being there. Not every memory is grand, but even the ordinary spaces become part of the story.

Friends. Family. Love. School.

Different places, different moods — but all pieces of one meaningful week.

This week was full of participation — not championships, not grand victories, but presence.

The group photo was from the drill competition. We didn’t take home the highest award, but we stood there together, wearing our uniforms with pride. That picture holds more than smiles — it holds discipline, effort, and the courage to perform in front of many people.

The one that looks like a picnic under the sun wasn’t really a picnic. It was another participation. Sitting on the ground, gathered in circles — it felt hot and tired, even if it was part of something official. Sometimes participation feels more memorable because there’s less pressure and more genuine connection(?).

And the certificates? They were certificates of participation too. Some people see “participation” as something small, but to me, it means I showed up. I joined. I tried. My name printed there is proof that I was part of something — that I didn’t just stay in the background.

This week wasn’t about being first. It was about being present. From drill performances with the D. A. R. T Members teaching us the basics on how to save and act right when there's people in need— outdoor activities to receiving certificates, everything was a reminder that growth doesn’t only happen when you win. It also happens when you step forward and take part.

Not every memory needs a trophy.

Sometimes, participation is already something to be proud of.

This week felt like a mix of simple moments and unexpected surprises.

There were normal school days — sitting with friends, laughing around the table, playing UNO on the floor, not thinking too much about the competition. We weren’t the most prepared group. For creative storytelling, we had no props and honestly, it wasn’t the best. Compared to the other competitors, they looked more serious and fully ready to win. Meanwhile, we were just enjoying the event.

To be honest, it was a little embarrassing. We were probably the only group who performed without the strong intention of winning. We were just there to have fun and do our best, especially in our jazz chant — the part we truly focused on.

When the results were announced, we didn’t expect anything big. But hearing our name called as 1st placer overall for the jazz chant felt unreal. The joy was overwhelming. The one thing we worked hard on, the one thing we gave our full energy to, brought us victory. It proved that sometimes passion and teamwork are enough.

And in the middle of all these memories, there’s the black drawing — the one my suitor drew for me. It may look simple, just white lines on a dark background, but it means so much. It reminds me that beyond achievements and awards, there’s someone who supports me in quiet, thoughtful ways.

This week wasn’t perfect. It was a little embarrassing, very unexpected, but full of joy, friendship, and love — and that’s what made it special.
