My honest opinion on the SM&EXO/KRIS issue
SO !!!!!!! What do I think about this issue is that YES I understand Wufan’s point of view. Just because they gave him an audition doesn’t mean he was treated right before all that happened. YES SM is working them like slaves! Just have a look at EXO K, half of the group is badly injured. BUT for Wufan (and his supposed new Chinese agency) to fill the lawsuit now of all times without even at least warning his members (especially since it seems that it’s been in the process for a while) was a low blow. That’s unfair for the members and too sudden. And the fact that he didn’t speak up to explain HIMSELF (and not through representatives) what exactly was happening, what he really wanted added up to the frustration and disappointment.
All of that has been said and I add nothing to that but what frustrates me the most is the fans’ reaction as well as the non-fans’s one.
Fans who keep harassing the 11 EXO members for them to accept Wufan back in the group, for them to follow him again. Do you KNOW what you’re asking them right now? Have you ever been betrayed by someone who you thought was close to you? If yes then you would KNOW that it’s not possible to digest and forgive that easily. So why are you asking the boys to do so when YOU wouldn’t even be able to.
And why ask Wufan to cancel his lawsuit? If he did take the time to fill it, he must have thought about it for a while because it’s not an easy decision to take. If he couldn’t keep up with the whole idol life, do you think that harassing him will change his situation? And did you think at how awkward that would be for the 12 of them to be back together after all what happened? The boys have been betrayed TWICE. They wouldn’t accept him. Wufan would feel regretful but then the whole situation would have hurt so many people for nothing and the trust is broken anyway.
So ask yourself something, you, fans who ask them to go back together, who create accounts to make it seem like the boys forgave him, who create rumours saying that the boys’ phones are in the hands of the company, etc. Do you REALLY love EXO and KRIS? Because if yes, you’d realise that them being back together is not beneficial for any of them. Ask yourself WHY you want them being back together. Because when I look into it, it seems more like you do it for yourselves and your fantasies. Not for their well being. Wufan will do fine on his own. It’ll be difficult for EXO at first but they’re strong. They will be fine if the fans keep on supporting them.
As for non-EXO fans though…. could you PLEASE stop meddling and try to give your opinions when we didn’t ask for it? You don’t know the boys AT ALL so why add to the fire when you know nothing? It just makes it harder for us to think straight and grieve properly. We.don’t.need.your.opinions. Especially if it’s to say things like “they’re all under the same contracts so why he only is leaving?” Do you even know? Who are you to judge? YES he left when the other didn’t, we do agree on that but what is the point of this argument? Some know how to withstand pressure or have a goal that makes them go through but some other can’t or lost their motivation. So once again WHO ARE YOU TO JUDGE?
I’m not saying that I’m any better because I’m not. I’m emotionally involved. I CRIED FOR GOD’S SAKE and I can’t even listen to their music nor watch videos without feeling hurt!! But this whole situation is now getting ridiculous in my opinion. We’re just going in circles at the moment because there’s nothing we can do but wait and see how things unfold.
So please, go out, meet friends, do sport, go to the cinema/theatre, to concerts. Get your mind off this situation for a while and you’ll see that things will get clearer in your minds and you’ll begin to find peace instead of wallowing in your misery. It’ll help. Hopefully. :)
