Male Hashira x Reader — To Be Yours
Request: If possible, maybe yandere hashiras?? 🛐
Pairing: Tengen x Reader, Obanai x Reader, Kyojuro x Reader, Sanemi x Reader, Giyuu x Reader, Gyomei x Reader
Content Warning: yandere!hashira, yandere behavior, purposeful exposure to dangerous situations, manipulation, obsession
Tengen:
• What actually turns this situation intense is not him, but his family. If Tengen loves you, his family loves will too. And in this case, they love you a lot.
• It's not Tengen that starts to act weird, he can surpress his intrusive thoughts. He's not the one to manipulate you, because he doesn't need to do so. His wives are right there after all. They know how to make others stay.
• It's barely noticeable in the beginning. Tengen invites you to his estate and they prepare a delicious meal, coincidentally your favorite. Of course you're happy when three gorgeous women rush to your side, each possessing their own charm.
• With Suma seeking closure, Makio knowing exactly which traits to compliment and Hinatsuru coaxing you into their comfort — the game was rigged from the start.
• So Tengen gets to watch how they slowly push your relationship in the right direction — a crush, a confession and you're already moving in.
• The pressure only surfaces when you suddenly want to go on a walk alone. How could you do that? Atleast one of them should always be by your side. Don't you know how dangerous the world is?
• It's not a problem. You will learn quickly, you will adapt. As soon as you became part of their family, it was clear that you would stay by their side. Always.
Obanai:
• Obanai didn't understand his twisted love for you until it's too late. The way you steal his attention and always stay on his mind is written off as annoyance first.
• Only when you smile at him sweetly, complimenting his skills, does he realize that he craves it. He wants you and now it's all that's on his mind.
• Different than most other yandere characters, his end goal isn't necessarily that you end up with him. Sure, it would be a nice addition and he would treat you good, but there's something far more important.
• Don't end up with someone else; don't love someone else. He feels as though the thought alone drives him crazy. He knows no one else could treat you as good as him. He can't stand the thought of you accepting a lowlife to keep you happy.
• So if you can't love him, he makes sure you won't love someone else. They're not good enough — disgraceful, weak and pathetic. They run away with a single stare of his, because Obanai is the only one allowed by your side.
Kyojuro:
• Kyojuro is different than most on this list, because there's no chance anyone else will ever realize how twisted his mind actually is. He had perfected his act, because no one would ever see his bad sides.
• So when you get to know him, grow closer and become friends, you can't gauge his intentions at all. He's simply a good person.
• He knows how to treat you too. He will learn about your interests when you spend time, makes sure to offer you things you'll like. Falling in love with him is nothing others could criticize you for.
• It's only when you get hurt or someone harasses you that his act almost slips. The way he balls his fists when you get insulted, the intense blank stare that manages to surface for only a second. But no one notices, because Kyojuro knows how to act like a true gentleman.
Sanemi:
• Sanemi won't spell out that he likes you, unless you manage to get him to absolutely lose it. Touch another man's arm, laugh at the joke your friend just made, blush when someone confesses to you. He will feel like you're ripping out his heart on purpose.
• He stays by your side. The hashira will find ways to join you on missions, show off his skills. He knows you're in awe when you see him fight, hoping that you will be just as good one day.
• But until then, he doesn't talk about the approaching demon. He waits until the creature attacks and you fear this was your last mission. That's when he strikes, your knight in shining armor.
• You nearly died, but he's there already — kneeling by your side, looking down at you with his falsely worried eyes. It's all to have you believe in him, lean on him.
• When he's sure that you won't ever leave his side, he takes things further. He doesn't admit to his love, he doesn't kiss you, but he does make sure you will eventually initiate those things.
• "I feel like I can't live without you." "I'm glad you're by my side." "I don't know what I would do without you." And how can you not think you might stand a chance with him, when he treats you this nicely? After all, Sanemi is always there to protect you.
Giyuu:
• The emotions hammering in his chest are unfamiliar. With how strong his heart was beating near you he thought he was sick. He even avoided you in the beginning, thinking it would go away.
• It didn't. And he quickly understood why. When he saw another hashira talking to you, the ache in his heart intensified sharply. Only now does he realize how much he craved you.
• His head rivalled a storm that night, countless thoughts keeping him awake. He knew that the desire in his chest wasn't normal, that it was some kind of twisted affection.
• But it really didn't matter when he snuck into your life. He learned about everything he could — your interests, your friends, your past, your mind.
• And then he began influencing you. It doesn't take much, he knows how insecure you are. Fleeting comments are enough to feed into your doubts.
• He knows that it's wrong and he feels guilty. It's okay, he will swallow his guilt, because he knows he can't live without you anymore.
Gyomei:
• Just like the water pillar, Gyomei notices the twisted nature of his feelings. However, he doesn't feel guilty about them. No, in fact, the stone hashira has found reason to justify it.
• He had lost so many innocent souls in his life. With his superior strength, it was so painfully obvious how weak everyone else is. How weak you were.
• You're such a kind person, someone that's worthy of being preotected. He's sure that, if the gods are real, they've brought you to him. To be close. To be safe. To be happy.
• You poor thing are easily influenced too. Just a few months of knowing you and you took his words for the truth. It was dangerous outside, you could die without him. You needed to be where he could keep you safe.
• Gyomei doesn't need to act twisted. He doesn't need to abandon his moral standards. Not when you walk right into his arms, because you knew he only acted in your best interest.
Male Hashira x Female Reader — A New Cow On The Farm
Request: heyaaaaaaaa u remember that cow au post someone wanted? IVE BEEN THINKING ABOUT IT FOR MONTHS AND NOW I SEE THAT U TAKE REQUESTS AGAIN soooo could u maybe write how the hashira men would react to a cow reader (obv a she this time)?? like the reader is not a worker this time but livestook in that neko cow kinda way too and theyre HEAD OVER HEELS with her cuz she is suuuuper sweet and feminine.... also only the reader can be milked this time cuz i dont get the other storys thing there lolol
Pairing: Tengen x Reader, Obanai x Reader, Kyojuro x Reader, Sanemi x Reader, Giyuu x Reader, Gyomei x Reader
Content Warning: suggestive content, bull!hashira, cow!reader, fem!reader, reader is able to lactate, farm!au
The background for this AU:
The male pillars are all considered livestock on a farm, which specializes in sheep. Since predators often attack the sheep residing here, the farmers have invested in a few bulls, who's duty is to protect the farm's income.
However, with only bulls around, they do tend to get lonely. So the farmers empty their pockets once more. This time, they've invested in a cow. You. Despite dairy farms being a popular source of income, their only reason for buying you is to keep the peace in their farm.
Tengen:
• It had been a day like any other when the farmers introduced a newcomer to the farm. Naturally, with how many bulls have gathered in the barn overtime, Tengen groaned with the prospect of another one joining.
• That's when the farmers ushered you through the door, a cow. His attention was solely on you, watching how you didn't dare look up, feeling more than out of place.
• Perhaps it was because all the bulls on this farm were quite tall and muscular, but you seemed far too delicate in his eyes. He would've mistaken you for a runt, if it weren't for your healthy appearance.
• Tengen is quick to make your acquaintance, smitten with you, who was clearly brought to keep them all company.
• It's not like you hated it either. Being thrown into a barn full of unknown hybrids — clearly able to snap you in two as well — being greeted was a lot better than loathed.
• He tries to keep you away from the farmers when they come to regularly milk you. Technically, it was your mate's duty to do so, but Tengen could surely work his way there.
Obanai:
• You felt as though Obanai was staring daggers into your head when you first arrived. He had truly only been curious about the new cow, but — with such an intense gaze — you were sure he hated you.
• That being said, you try to keep your distance from him at first. You didn't know how a confrontation with him would end, deciding avoidance was the best strategy.
• It wasn't until you sat next to him when the bulls and you ate in the morning that you two first interacted. He had been quiet for most of the meal, but when he saw how much you liked today's food, he acted.
• The cowish ears on your head flicked in surprised when he silently shoved his plate towards you. The food you liked had been sorted out until he had finished the other stuff on his plate.
• "You're not hungry anymore?" You quietly ask, unsure of what he wanted. He would've preferred if you understood his intentions, but he would be damned if he didn't go all the way through. "...I thought you liked it." He muttered, turning away to hide the way his cheeks flushed. "Ah.. Thank you!"
• You interact with him more freely after that incident, sometimes joining him when it was his turn to watch the sheep.
• When another bull steals your attention during time you spend together, the look he gives them is more than just annoyed. Yet you never notice when you face him again, his focus completely on you once more.
Kyojuro:
• Truth be told, Kyojuro wasn't in the barn when the farmers had introduced you. The bull had been guarding the sheep outside, completely missing your first moments on the farm.
• It was only when he came back that he noticed you. The man had walked towards his stall when an unfamiliar scent filled his nose. Not expecting someone to be there, he basically bursted into the stall next to his trying to find the source.
• Afterwards he will feel like a complete idiot, having made you panic. It certainly wasn't the first impression he had wanted to give you.
• The situation calmed down again when he got on his knees to comfort you. Scared as you were, you had seen no other option but to curl up in the farthest corner of the stall.
• Of course your opionion on him changed quickly, considering that he was genuinely nice to be around. Furthermore, he was one of the bulls who were ordered to bring your nesting materials. You couldn't possibly hate someone that helped you like this.
Sanemi:
• The difference between him and the other bulls is that they tried befriending you from the beginning. To be frank, it was entirely his fault. Instead of welcoming you like the others, he just had to act all tuff and sarcastic.
• "Why did the farmers bring a runt into the barn?" And you were shocked. Not only you, but the other bulls too. You were rather delicate, sure, but clearly not a runt.
• He genuinely got confused on why you avoided him after that too. It wasn't until Kyojuro and Tengen knocked some sense into him that he realized you were genuinely hurt.
• "...You don't think I was being serious, right?" The question slipped out when all the other bulls were busy around the farm, leaving you and him alone. By your reaction, it was clear that he had messed up.
• He ends up apologizing, more or less admitting that he found you attractive before storming off in a fit of embarrassment. But how could he not? You were such a nice addition to the farm; a sweet thing with those plump curves anyone would love to hold onto.
Giyuu:
• Despite noticing you right from the start, Giyuu doesn't talk with you for a least a few hours. He was more or less forced into an interaction when the farmers needed help.
• Him and Kyojuro ended up carrying a pile of pillows, blankets and other comfortable materials you could build a nest with. Your eyes basically sparkled at the sight of so many things to work with, automatically holding the two of them in high regard.
• Him and Kyojuro — but especially him — watch as you're busy working in your stall. They don't know what kind of instinct you follow, but you clearly had a system to your nest. Matter of fact, looking at the other nests in the barn, your's was of a much higher quality.
• Of course they're in awe when you cuddle into the pile of materials, clearly happy about your comfortable quarters. You must've noticed, because they sit in your nest not long after.
• If there's one thing the people on the farm can be sure about it's that Giyuu will be near you when he doesn't have duties to attend to.
Gyomei:
• If it weren't for Sanemi, he would have definitely been the bull you were most afraid of. Having said that, it doesn't take long for you to like him.
• With a calm atmosphere surrounding the man and the respect the other bulls show him, your fear subsides into nothingness rather quickly. He's not as insistent as the other men in the barn, waiting until you're comfortable with him.
• So when you finally approach the bull hesitantly, he puts on a gentle smile. It had clearly worked too, as you managed to finally introduce yourself to him.
• What started as a hesitant conversation gradually grew into meaningful interactions.
• It's not seldom that something startles you on the farm. Everyone knows that if he's near, you will automatically seek protection behind the muscular man.
Male Hashira x Female Reader — You're With Child
Request: Hear me out--- you are pregnant? I need to know how your hashira husband treats you during your pregnancy. It's on my mind 25/8/13.
Pairing: Tengen x Reader, Obanai x Reader, Kyojuro x Reader, Sanemi x Reader, Giyuu x Reader, Gyomei x Reader
Content Warning: pregnant!reader, fem!reader, insecurities, suggestive content (for Sanemi), slight angst (for Tengen and Obanai), fluff (for Kyojuro, Giyuu and Gyomei)
Tengen:
Tengen had been overjoyed with the news of your baby. He couldn't believe he would be a father — the father to your child.
If the shinobi knew one thing, then it was that he would keep you safe, both of you. For your child and the love of his life, he would go to the end of the world and back.
As much as he'd have liked shielding you from any and all dangers, there are things he just can't influence. One of them — much to his dismay — was your own mind.
Tengen could only stare in awe as you changed over the months, your body ready to nurture your child. In his eyes, there was nothing more beautiful than seeing you like this, doing this with you.
However, as much as you would like to share his opinion, you couldn't seem to concentrate on the positive things bestowed upon you. You found yourself standing in front of the mirror more often, your gaze following other women when they passed you in the street.
Of course he noticed something was wrong when he came home and saw you standing in front of the mirror. Your hands rested on your stomach, careful but not in adoration. You looked insecure, uncomfortable, ashamed even.
He didn't hesitate to wrap his arms around you, chin resting on your head. The smile he flashed you was meant to be uplifting, but you only avoided his gaze.
"What's wrong, sugar bear?" He asks, tilting your head to the side to meet your gaze. You lean into his touch, but it doesn't comfort you the way it usually does.
"Tengen, do you.. do you think I'm pretty?" The question has him stop momentarily, nearly letting go of you in the process. The smile on his face vanished right after, a worried expression replacing it.
"Did someone tell you otherwise?" His gaze was serious, clearly ready to start a fight with whoever dared to speak such crude words to his wife. You interrupt him before things escalate.
"No— No! It's just— I just— I don't feel pretty." You answer, hands clenching together. Seeing you this insecure had his heart throb uncomfortably. "Why would you say that?"
"Just— just look at me, Tengen! I can't kneel down, I need help with everything!" Tears start burning in your eyes, threatening to spill. "You even started calling me a bear— I— I feel unattractive and fat— and— and—"
Seeing you tremble in frustration, he turns you to face him, hands cupping your cheeks to silence you.
"Listen to me, [name]. I'm not calling you overweight. What kind of husband would I be? You're my wife — my everything. And soon you're going to be the mother of my child. A mama bear, hm? Because I know you will protect our little rascal from whatever comes our way, no?"
The tears are finally falling with his confession, uncontrolled sobs leaving your lips. He doesn't mind, he never minded comforting you. As he pulls you into an embrace, you press your face against his chest, trying to stop yourself from crying.
With how sweet he talked to you, you felt stupid for ever doubting him or yourself. There was no way he'd stop loving you because of this.
"Hey, don't hide from me now... It's not flamboyant to keep things from your husband, not even your tears."
Gods, did you love this man.
Obanai:
When Obanai became a hashira, he knew that his bloodline would end with him. The cursed blood cursing through his veins was a punishment, to him and everyone he knew.
He didn't know when loneliness didn't feel isolating anymore, when he told himself that everything was as it should be. But then he met you.
He thought the last pleasure he allowed himself was getting to know you, loving you, marrying you. Everything escalated so quickly that he couldn't do anything about it. No, he even waited for it, hoped you would accept him for who he is.
And you did. You accepted his love, you accepted his past and you accepted his flaws. And you loved him. So how could he ever deny you when you admitted you were with child — his child.
If he had just a little less restraint than now, he would've fallen to his knees right there. If you let him, he would embrace you and never let go.
The unshed tears in your eyes were long forgotten when you saw him look back in awe and not shock. Despite loving him, you had feared ruining everything. How could you not? His past haunted him, you didn't want to defy his wishes.
Thus, even in the face of both your doubts, you stayed together. It wasn't a fleeting decision he made, he stood for what he believed and he stayed by your side.
Months have passed since then and your child would soon be born. Only when you woke up in the middle of the night did you realize that something was wrong.
Your husband wasn't sleeping like usually. He sat there in silence, cold hand carefully holding onto yours. You slowly rolled over, eyes locking on his face. His expression was uncharacteristically empty, a hint of worry filling his eyes.
"What if I'm not fit to be father?"
The question was spoken into the silence of your bedroom, voice barely above a whisper. He sounded uncharacteristically scared.
Realizing how distraught he actually seemed, you moved to sit up. The action snapped him out of his trance, slender hands helping you change positions.
"...Why would you think that?" You quietly ask, leaning forward as much as your growing belly allowed. He met your gaze, but he didn't speak. His expression was enough to understand. With everything that happened in his past — in his family — he felt unworthy of this role.
"Obanai, look at you. I can't even sit up without you reacting immediately." You whisper, hand moving to cup his face. He doesn't budge, as if he feared he would ruin everything with the slightest slip up.
"I can't believe that a man who worries over my every move would make a bad father." The words have his heart clench, finally moving to hold you close.
"And if you love our child just as much as me, it'll only know a happy childhood."
Obanai wasn't one to cry, but — that night — it took his everything to not let the tears fall.
He holds you until you grow tired in his embrace, until he feels your head dip lower, your eyes closed in comfortable slumber. He's careful not to wake you again, holding you even when sleep gets to him and he no longer has the focus to worry.
Kyojuro:
You've heard of the cravings many pregnant women experienced while carrying their child. Pickles, chocolate or even cheese — you had heard it all. Some even combined foods you'd thought had you vomiting from the smell alone, but who were you to judge?
At the end of the day, you were sure those cravings would never reach you. Maybe wanting a piece of chocolate would be fine, or hunger for something else, but you truly believed no worrisome combination would fill your mind.
And for the first few months, everything seemed fine. Kyojuro knew how to take care of a woman and he made sure to not hold back with that knowledge either. Sometimes he gauged your needs before you could even vocalize them.
Yet things were bound to shift when you underwent change. It just happened to be in the middle of the night when you awoke in your shared futon, staring at the ceiling. Kyojuro protectively slept by your side, constantly having a hand on you.
"Kyo.." You whispered, touching his arm cautiously. You meant to be gentle, but he was awake in a second. His eyes snapped open, body jumping up to sit straight. He stared at you with eyes full of worry, looking you over.
"Is something wrong, my love? Are you in pain?" He asked, hand finding your thigh. You silently shook your head, embarrassment creeping up your spine. He looked so worried and yet you woke him for something like that.
"I'm... I'm hungry, Kyojuro.. Really hungry.." You muttered quietly, turning your head away to avoid his gaze. For a moment, you could feel his eyes staring holes into the back of your head, but then he reacted.
"Did you wake me to help?" He asked, hand wandering to interlock with yours. He squeezed it reassuringly, glad when you nodded. "I don't mind, my sunflower. Let me help you up."
Now here you were, standing in your kitchen in the middle of the night. Kyojuro had lit candles all around, making sure that it wasn't too dark for either of you. "So? What can I help you with?"
"The chili oil — would you get it for me?" He moves without a second thought, head whipping towards the wall cabinets. They weren't exactly the best place to store things for a pregnant woman.
When he turned around with the small container in hand, he didn't expect you to hold something else already.
A whole plate of dango, which he had brought home this afternoon looked back at him. He furrowed his brows lightly, slowly placing the container of chilli oil onto the kitchen counter.
"Thank you, Kyo." You say, leaning over to press a kiss against his cheek. Your sweet actions contrasted sharply with the combination of food that stood in front of you.
"What are you doing?" He asks hesitantly, watching you pick up the dango to dip it into the spicy liquid next to it.
"I told you I'm hungry!" You nearly whine back, looking up at him with the pleading gaze that had him melt in seconds. He couldn't possibly stop you from doing this, but that didn't mean he was calm about it.
"I've been craving it all day and it's sooo good..." You praise, chewing on your creation like it would solve world hunger. Truth be told, your husband had difficulties with not letting his jaw drop to the floor.
"My sunflower, are you— are you sure that's healthy?" You look back at him, tilting your head to the side. If it hadn't been for the worry filling his body, he would be in awe by the way you munched on it.
"Do you want to try?" The words have his body tensing, eyes traveling between you and the food in your hand. He really didn't want to try, but he also didn't want to deny his wife.
With a soft sigh of defeat, he takes the dango from you, watching the chilli oil coat it like a second skin. He swallows down his pride, pushing the whole sweet in his mouth.
The way he keeps from spitting out right after had you leaning back, wide eyes watching him curiously. "Are you okay?" You ask, voice full of concern.
"It's— It's delicious, my sunflower..." You blink a few times, wondering if you're just imagining how his skin went pale. He clearly had trouble even swallowing what he had in his mouth, but he wouldn't admit it.
Seeing your husband silently fight over approving of your pregnancy cravings, you clasp a hand over your mouth, trying to keep yourself from laughing. Despite your greatest efforts, he takes note of the way you suppress your laughter.
"..Why— why are you laughing—" He nearly whines, still trying to not spit out the abomination he just ate. Great, now you really couldn't keep it together.
Sanemi:
Pregnancy hasn't been treating you unkindly. You've heard of many women complain about how exhausting it is — which was certainly true — but they always seemed to let out the good part. Pregnancy wasn't just pain, it was also love and comfort.
And the one that gave you comfort and love was no other than your husband. The white-haired man had stared at you in awe when you broke the news to him.
"..Me? You're saying I'm going to be a father?" He wasn't sure whether he had whispered or screamed back then, but all the tension he usually carried was gone. For a moment, there was only you in his world — smiling, welcoming, loving.
The way you nodded so softly, it had him move without thinking, arms wrapping around you. "My wife.. My wife is carrying my child.." He muttered, head resting on your shoulder. Never in your life had you expected the strongest man you knew to break down like that.
Perhaps you should've been scared that he would stop loving you one day, that he wasn't ready to have children, that he wouldn't find you attractive after a few months passed. Yet none of those thoughts managed to fill your mind when he held you this tightly.
And just like that, he was trailing you like a shadow. The missions he usually took on were passed on to other demon slayers and hashira. He had a much greater duty to fulfill now — care for his pregnant wife.
Sanemi only left the estate occasionally — when you craved something special, when an important meeting was held or when someone needed to buy groceries.
Albeit when you had someone by your side more often than not, life felt almost isolate without them by your side. So when your husband left to run errands, the estate felt too quiet for your liking.
Months have passed since you had revealed the news to him; your stomach had grown with your child. Looking outside the window — the sun illuminating the afternoon sky — you felt the desire to be productive arise in you.
Having an attentive husband was lovely, but it often left you with nothing to do. Without the chores you took care of when he was away, you had far more time on your hands.
Of course you used this golden opportunity to engage in things you haven't done in a long time. There wasn't much you could still take care of being in the late stages of your pregnancy, but cooking seemed just fine.
Smelling the alluring aroma of cooked rice and meat wafting through the air, your returning husband already knew what you were up to when he stepped through the door. Finally entering the kitchen only confirmed his suspicion.
Sanemi couldn't speak for other husbands, but he certainly knew one thing for himself: he could melt whenever he saw you, his one and only wife. With a content smile on his face, he approached from behind.
You were clearly surprised by the feeling of strong hands grabbing your hips, a muscular body pressing against you from behind. However, you didn't panic, already recognizing the familiar feel of your lover.
"Why would you sneak up on me like that!" You fuss, yet your voice was far too soft to originate from someone seriously mad. Your bickering only earns an amused hum.
"What? Can't a man appreciate his sweet wife?" He responds, his arms moving to wrap around you. You chuckle, leaning back to sway with him for a moment.
"A little surprised that rascal isn't movin' today.." He murmurs, pressing a kiss against your cheek. His hand rubs your belly gently, his grin widening when he hears you sigh.
"I think our baby knows that daddy is here to protect us." You answer sweetly, flashing him a tranquil smile. You tilt your head up, trying to catch a glimpse of his face. "What are you thinking about?"
"..'m thinking that if you keep talking like that our little rascal will have a little sibling in a year or two." His words have your cheeks heating up, playfully slapping his arm.
"You can't blame me for wanting a family with the best wife I could have." He counters, nearly fooling you into giving up with his words. Howbeit, then he leans down to nip on your ear. "Besides... I wouldn't mind rocking this body once more..."
"Sanemi!"
Giyuu:
After the two of you returned from an annual doctor visit, Giyuu seemed to be in thought. You were quick to ask your husband what he was brooding over, worrying about what he might say.
The doctor had announced you would bear a son just today; you really thought your love would be happy about the news. Now he seemed more absent than usual, an unwelcome feeling spreading in your stomach.
"It's not that, Don't worry, darling.. I just.. I have been thinking about what the doctor had said." You tilt your head to the side, glad that it wasn't something serious, but confused what else could consume his thoughts like that.
"How come everyone can vouch for our son's liveliness expect me?" His voice is steady, but you knew how insecure the situation actually had him. Despite being pregnant for over half a year now, your husband had never felt his child move inside your stomach.
It irked him greatly, especially since many other people have already spoken about how your child seemed restless even when unborn. Your eyes softened when you heard him speak, coming closer to wrap your arms around his neck.
He gently puts his hands on your waist, never one to deny when you searched for physical contact. Leaning down, his forehead pressed against yours, quietly meeting your gaze. "Maybe you need to spend more time with him?"
"More.. time?" He asks, confused by what you meant. His reaction only earns a chuckle from you, nodding in response.
Your husband didn't speak after your little remark, probably thinking about what you've said. However, a few days later, he started listening to your advice.
The sun illuminated your garden as you sat on the engawa. That's when Giyuu joined you. He carried your favorite tea with him, knowing that you enjoyed days like these with a warm beverage to accompany it.
You waited for him to sit down next to you like he always did, but today your husband had a different agenda. He kneeled down on the ground in front of you, taking place between your legs.
You stared silently as he put his hand on your belly, caressing it as if you were the most sacred thing he could have near. The words you had wanted to speak were stuck in your throat, too engrossed by his actions.
"It is me, little one, your father." He spoke, icy eyes long having shed their coldness. What's left is only warmth and love.
He moved closer to press the side of his head against you, carefully feeling and listening, hoping to catch a glimpse of what was to be your future. "Your mommy told me that you kept her from sleeping again." He murmured, his right hand having switched to rub your thigh soothingly, trying to give both his loved ones affection.
"But when I awoke, you stopped immediately. I can't help but feel like you're mocking me.." You lift your hand to caress your husband's head, knowing that he would be upset about not getting to feel your child once more.
You didn't get to comfort him, as the movement in your stomach had the two of you silenced. He remained completely still, as if he feared the feeling would stop.
Then he looked up, gentle gaze focusing on you. The smile forming on his face was one of peace, leaning into your touch as you cupped his cheek.
"That's your son, Giyuu."
"My son..."
He pushed himself upwards, muscular body blocking the light. Then he leaned down, pressing a kiss against your lips.
"And my wife..."
Gyomei:
Gyomei loved children. He had always been in awe at their small minds, how differently they perceived the world and how earnestly they loved.
The day he finds out that you carry his child, tears spill from his eyes uncontrollably. What usually only lasted minutes, took him hours to stop. You had been blessed with a child and he couldn't be more thankful.
He spend many days after learning how to treat a pregnant woman, especially when she came close to giving birth. Fresh air, nurturing food, comfort and love — he made sure you were provided with everything.
If the gods could bless someone with the perfect husband, you were sure they had blessed you, albeit even the perfect man could have his flaws.
It's nothing he did on purpose, nor something he would force upon you — it must've been your stubbornness that led to this outcome.
Currently strolling around the mountain with him, you felt as if all strength had left you. Gyomei was not one to complain when you asked him for a break, searching for a nearby tree stump to let you rest.
Nevertheless, he couldn't stop the concern overtaking him when you didn't feel better after an hour. He knelt down beside you.
"My love, could it be that you've spent too much energy on this?" He asked, blind eyes locking on yours. You knew you couldn't lie to him, especially when his eyes seemed to look right into your soul.
"I'm just a bit tired.. We walked for quite some time." You answer, his brows twitching down for only a second. What seemed like an endless walk for you, was less than a warm-up for him.
Realization dawned on the giant rather quickly. He hadn't taken into account how differently you would perceive this, how a mere lift of his finger could have you spent for hours.
"Forgive me, my love. I should have been more careful." He admits, strong hand moving to hold your leg. He took your shoe off with the other, massaging your feet.
"It's really not that bad." You try to reassure him, but he doesn't stop. You watch as he takes off your other shoe as well, putting them to the side.
"Do not forget that I know when you're lying. Your feet are swollen." He responds, letting go to stand up straight. "It is getting cold, we should return before you catch a fever."
Despite the soreness in your feet, you try to stand up. The promise of sitting in your warm home was enough to get you going. However, you were stopped before you could even start.
"You did not mean to walk back home, right?" The question makes you pause, looking up at him with confusion. "But you said—"
"I am a responsible husband." He interrupts you, leaning down to hold onto your body. You gasp in surprise, suddenly being lifted into his strong hold. "I could never allow you to walk back in such a state. Your body needs rest."
"Gyomei, I'm heavy!" You complain, knowing that you've gained weight with the child growing inside your belly. He doesn't accept it, picking up your shoes before properly holding you again.
"Your weight is no concern of mine, my love. The only importance lies with your comfort and the safety of our child."
You don't argue after that, wrapping your arms around his neck in an attempt to cuddle closer.
Somehow he always had you growing shy, even when he didn't try to.
Male Hashira x Reader — Under The Sea
Request: SEA CREATURE HASHIRA X MERMAID/MERMAN READER AJFSJDFAWJFE I WANNA SEE EM DROOL OVER THE PRETTY MERMAID THEY MET CUZ SHES SO SWEET AND THEYRE LIKE YE IM THE PERFECT MERMAN FOR U NO WAY
Pairing: Tengen x Reader, Obanai x Reader, Kyojuro x Reader, Sanemi x Reader, Giyuu x Reader, Gyomei x Reader
Content Warning: mermaid au, mer!hashira, mer!reader, attempts at courting
Tengen — Oarfish
• Tengen wasn't a shy man by any means. He lived right in the center of his folk's settlement. Everyone knew him and most liked him.
• He couldn't deny how much he enjoyed it too. With a flashy tail — the silver scales demanding attention — he knew he was a good mate. The only problem was that there was no one to court.
• His folk certainly didn't lack mermaids, nor were they not pretty enough or not interesting. They still weren't what he was looking for. He needed to feel it deep in his heart, otherwise he couldn't accept a mate.
• That's when you came along. He had seen the people residing in this part of the sea, he would've noticed before. The pouch loosely swimming by your side indicated what he already knew — you weren't from here.
• Naturally, he knew when to take his chance. He surely wouldn't have you swimming right out of his grasp, when he could have you right by his side. The man swam next to you a moment later, a charming smile on his face.
• "Would you look at that. Is that a new mermaid I see? What brought you into this part of the sea?" There wasn't a hint of hesitation in his voice. He was confident in himself.
• Perhaps his rather boastful actions would have annoyed others, but you had to chuckle at the mer's attitude. He was confident, you didn't dislike confident men.
• When he offered to show you around the settlement, you accepted with a gentle smile. The places you learned about were certainly nice, some even hidden to most mer, but he revealed them to you happily.
• Since you came with nearly nothing, Tengen was quick to show you a place to stay. It just happened to be a cozy home right next to his own. As if that wasn't enough, his approach didn't ease up there.
• He visited you on the next day, a collection of plants in his hand. It should've been an obvious attempt at courting, but to you it wasn't. He had been interested right from the start; you didn't know he treated mermaids he wasn't interested in different.
• Despite accepting his courting gifts and complimenting them each time, you didn't grasp his true intentions. He was dumbfounded.
• When time passed and you remained blissfully unaware, the mer changed his tactic with a heavy sigh. He took you to a place you liked, spelling his goal out right there.
• The way your cheeks heated up in response had him a lot more confident than before.
Obanai — Turtle-Headed Sea Snake
• He doesn't live in the middle of the reef like most others on this list. There will be a cave or accumulations of plants nearby which he calls his home. They're not too far away from other mer, but enough to give him peace.
• He's generally not the most popular mer in his region. Most mer, who descend from more "normal" creatures, aren't too fond of sea snakes. They spell danger, even though he was a non-venomous species. As a result, Obanai is cautious of strangers.
• The moment an unknown mer swims past his home, he attacks. His long tail wrapped around his foe dangerously. That usually does the trick and keeps unwelcome visitors away.
• However, the familiar sound of a shrieking mer never came, having him take a closer look at his catch. It was nothing more than a simple mermaid, a quite delicate one at that.
• His eyes narrow, the clashing colors making you shrink slightly. You seemed cautious enough of him, but not truly scared. In fact, he's quite taken aback when you tilt your head to the side.
• The merman lets you swim away that day, being sure that you wouldn't harass him again. That's where the problem starts — you're right in front of his home only two days later.
• Upon seeing that he wouldn't come out, you leave a pebble. He only picks it up after you leave, realizing that the color matched his left eye. It was.. considerate.
• Then you came again. Another pebble. You don't leave this time. He knew, because he quietly waited for hours, realizing that his efforts were in vain. The ocean was dark at that point, a guilt slowly filling his stomach.
• You sleep in his home during that night, only because he didn't want you to encounter a human. However, you didn't seem to mind, basically beaming even after his explanation.
• He didn't hide when you visited another time, swimming out of his cave and greeting you, albeit rather reserved.
• When he finally understood that he wanted to court you, his reaction was intense. His tail flicked up with the realization, managing to hit his own head on accident. Luckily, you weren't there to judge him.
• He doesn't know how to court you properly, he had basically isolated himself from most other mer for his entire life. He's clumsy, scrambles when he tries giving you gifts, stuttering when he makes you a compliment.
• It didn't really matter, because you seemed to understand well enough. When you started getting shy around him and he realized he might actually have a chance, his heart was trying to jump out of his chest.
Kyojuro — Lionfish
• Despite belonging to a venomous species, there's nearly no mer that hates him. He's a well-known and liked member of his tribe. Not only does he have a striking personality, but is always up to help others.
• Someone needs a partner for hunting? He's there. Someone needs help moving to another part of the reef? Don't worry, he's got you. If there's a solution, he's sure to make it happen.
• Only one thing worries him occasionally: With how often people need him, Senjuro is frequently alone. He would prefer the young mer to stay at home, but he can't possibly keep him isolated.
• So when he wants to pick up Senjuro from his favorite place after helping an elderly woman, he can't help but worry upon finding it empty. He calls out his brother's name, swimming around and scanning every place his eyes could reach.
• Finally hearing the familiar voice of his brother reply, he's quick to find the source. Worry takes over his features, checking for any wounds or bruises.
• The merman listened intently to Senjuro's story — how he got chased by another mer, how a third mer nearby had helped him hide. At that moment, Kyojuro's gaze locks on you. He had already taken note of how you squirm around, your body language clearly showing how uncomfortable you were.
• Perhaps you thought he would hold you accountable, but his hands only squeeze yours together gratefully. He makes sure to show how thankful he was, inviting you to dine with his family.
• You accepted under his endless remarks about true etiquette and how it was only right to compensate you properly. In the end, you did enjoy spending time with them, happy when Senjuro asked you to come visit them more often.
• What started with his little brother becoming your friend, quickly switched into Kyojuro showing interest. He had spent enough time with you to know that you possessed all the qualities a good mate should have.
• His courting efforts aren't subtle. He brings you trinkets he knows you will like and proudly announces their purpose too. A proper merman should properly court his potential partner.
• Of course it's hard to deny him when his owlish eyes are filled with hope and a hint of admiration.
Sanemi — Tiger Shark
• If you think he normally has a bad temper, it's even worse now. He's not a tiger shark for nothing. Despite living quite close to the other mer in his settlement, most actively avoid him.
• Worst of all, he had actually tried speaking with some, but they found excuses to leave immediately. It's not really his fault, it partially is. However, most mer aren't open to conversing with sharks. His personality really only adds to that.
• Since it's hard to socialize with most people, he spends most of his days hunting. The nearby sea is a perfect hunting ground for him, inherently swarming with small fish and other delicacies.
• When the fish around are scarce, the merman focuses on other things — mostly crustaceans and mollusks. The sea urchin he saw in the sand that day was basically begging to be picked up by him. Of course he swam to it directly.
• Yet, before he could place his hand on the find, a more delicate one had already grabbed it. You flinch lightly upon feeling his rough skin, looking up immediately. Seeing how you tilt your head to the side, his eyes narrow.
• "Let go." He grumbled. He wouldn't negotiate about this, he saw it first. Normally, other mer would've squirmed away by now, but you seemed offended instead.
• "That's my sea urchin." You respond, brows furrowing in a mix of confusion and annoyance. He didn't let up either, leaning closer to seem more dangerous. "I told you to let go. I was here first."
• His comment had you more than annoyed, using your tail to stir up the sand under you. He lets go of the find, shielding his eyes from the sand you pushed towards him. "You damn little—"
• "Finders keepers, losers weepers!" His eye literally twitched, seeing how you quickly swam away with his yield in hand. And you dared to stick your tongue out too.
• He's nearly livid when he returns that day, but he can't deny the throb in his heart either. Most mer didn't dare to speak like that, not to him, but here you were.
• He truly thought about taking revenge the next time he saw you, but you completely destroyed his plans. As if you'd been waiting for his return ever since then, he finds you once more upon going hunting.
• He's ready to confront you, but you only rummage in the small pouch you carry around, handing him a small object — a trinket.
• It wasn't of any use, but the shiny surface of the stone you handed him matched his tail. It was decorated with pebbles in different colors, clearly made with care.
• The apology you mumbled out had him quietly squeeze the gift in his hand. And when you thought the silence was unbearable, he suddenly got loud again. "Tsk.. Don't expect me to accept that half-assed apology."
• He doesn't mind when you join him after that. He enjoys teaching you, especially when you add to his knowledge of good hunting spots.
• Sanemi doesn't court with the shiny objects most mer would bring. He makes sure to memorize the food you like, often visiting with your favorites.
• "Don't get cocky, I just caught too much." The smile he earns nearly has him melting, especially when you hug him or invite him to eat. "...If it makes you that happy, I could bring some more next time."
Giyuu — Ribbon Eel
• Despite him not being venomous, many mer are taken aback at first. They don't necessarily fear him, but it's never wrong to be cautious, right?
• "Normal" mer have a tail just slightly longer than their upper body, but eels and snakes were different in that aspect. Giyuu's tail was more than twice as long as his upper body.
• So, taking that into account, the eyes of other people are often on him. He tried to ignore it, mostly because their stares — even when in awe — seemed judgemental to him.
• Just like Sanemi, he has a talent for hunting, but doesn't exploit it. He prefers focusing on craftsmanship — basketry is a specialty of his.
• He had been occupied with weaving a new container when someone swam past his cave, which usually held no visitors. He had deliberately chosen this place to be undisturbed; it was far enough from his tribe's settlement and his home.
• Of course he was cautious of the movement behind him, long tail wrapping around the intruder like a rope, already tightening around his catch. When he turns around to see another mer, his tail's grip loosens slightly, eyes sharp and unmoving.
• You were clearly nervous, but not in the way other mer were. Instead, you held out a small container of sea sparkle, carefully shaking it to make it glow. He lets go of you afterwards, shoulders slumping into relaxation.
• Walking around with things like that you clearly weren't a threat, there was no reason to be hostile. However, you didn't flee after being confronted in such a crude manner. The conversation the two of you end up having was quiet but informative. You had left your old folk, now searching for a new place to stay.
• The story speaks to him, stopping his work to look at you once more. You didn't seem dangerous, but the waters were full of hostile mer. He was sure a single night without a place to stay was enough to have misfortune fall upon you.
• The merman offers to let you stay in his home until you found a place of your own, surpressing the smile tugging on his lips when you accept gracefully.
• He quickly learns that your presence is refreshing. Not only are you willing to help him out as repayment, but he enjoyed your personality too.
• When you moved out — though your new place was right next to his — he despised the ache in his chest. He thought it would be over now, that you had no reason to spend time with him anymore.
• Of course he was relieved when you still came to visit. He didn't hesitate to start his courtship. The mer did give you a few of the usual courting gifts, but most of them were things he'd crafted with his own two hands — lamps, baskets or other stuff he knew you'd adore.
Gyomei — Whale Shark
• He's a big merman. His presence is enough to have other mer on edge. They instinctively become wary, as he is much taller than the average merman.
• Luckily, they have no reason to be afraid. Gyomei is not a predator, nor does he seem aggressive. He's a whale shark — intimidating at first glance, but a sweetheart inside.
• Since most people living in the settlement know him already, he can live quite peacefully. They're not scared anymore, some even greeting him. Especially the children often seek his attention.
• He's saddened by the fact that he can't see the ocean's beauty, but it doesn't keep him from enjoying his time. Most mer that watch him for a bit longer will quickly realize that he enjoys particularly cold or warm places inside the reef.
• He finds you near one of the places he often visits. It had been a normal day, one he used to visit the hot springs near the seafloor. That's when you appeared, swimming towards him almost frantically.
• You bump into the merman harshly, but barely notice his imposing presence. The merman swimming after you was a known troublemaker roaming near the settlement. He descended from a barracuda, belonging to a folk that often attacked other mer.
• However, when he nearly caught up with you, the mer abruptly stopped. You hid behind Gyomei, who's body had already tensed. He knew the merman in front of him, as they've clashed once or twice.
• Luck seemed to be on your side, because your pursuer didn't stay for long. Gyomei's appearance had hostile mer mostly retreat before a fight could break out. Who could blame them? He was basically a giant compared to others.
• When the threat was gone and he relaxed again, his attention was on you. You created distance, not pressing yourself against his back as if he were a shield. The situation had clearly had you embarrassed, but he was quick to comfort you.
• Hearing that you enjoyed roaming around the nearby waters, he offered to accompany you from now on. It wasn't the first time that you were harassed by another folk; he deemed your little excursions too dangerous. Of course you didn't mind, nobody liked being pursued by other people.
• The first one or two times being accompanied felt a bit uncomfortable, but you grew used to it. He was far too gentle to be disliked. In fact, he seemed to treat you even nicer than most other mer.
• You felt flustered by the realization, since you liked the mer too. He was protective and nice, knew you better than most people here and genuinely enjoyed spending time with you.
• When he offered you a gift one day, you felt your whole body getting fuzzy all over. The question whether that was a courting gift blurted out of your mouth before you could stop it. You thought you had messed up by then; gifts didn't equal courting intentions and now you basically forced the thought onto him.
• The way the tips of his ears turned red had your emotions only intensifying. "If you gave me the chance, I would like to court you properly."
• How could you not accept when such a strong man sounded almost too shy to speak, as if he was afraid to be rejected?

Pairing: Tengen x Reader, Obanai x Reader, Kyojuro x Reader, Sanemi x Reader, Giyuu x Reader, Gyomei x Reader
Content Warning: decriptions of violence, spar between colleagues, inconsistent armor and personality
Tengen:
When a hashira meeting was called to introduce a new pillar, Tengen was quite excited. It was always like this, he looked composed on the outside, but was beaming inside.
Would you be strong? What was your gender? What was your breathing style? Would your personality be a good match for his? All these questions amounted to a single one: Would you fit into his flashy standard?
With all the hashira attending every meeting, Tengen had met his fair share of capable people.
From seeing them get introduced in their own respective meetings, he knew that things could go many ways: Giyuu was disciplined, Sanemi was hot-headed, Rengoku was determined, Mitsuri was excited and the list went on.
However, this meeting was different than any of the others. Master Ubuyashiki had talked quite some time before he finally introduced you. When it was your time to appear, a few looked around in confusion.
Tengen and Gyomei — thanks to their fine hearing — were the first to notice you. Your steps sounded heavy, which had both of them suspect another tall warrior.
However, when you stepped past Kagaya, looking down at them, Tengen tilted his head to the side. You were definitely not as tall as him. Fairly average, he might add.
Then his eyes drifted towards your hands. Well, not your hands, to be exact. The weapon you carried was interesting to say the least. Your hands were wrapped in two gauntlets, which seemed comically large in comparison to you.
When Master Ubuyashiki started talking about a joint mission with you, he was the first to volunteer. You simply nodded, seriously making him wonder whether you were extremely calm or another hot-headed daredevil.
All his prejudice died down when he got to talk to you on the way to your destination. You were fairly nice and didn't seem too shy. It had the contrast to your weapon seem even more comical to him.
That's why he was more than flabbergasted when you encountered the Lower Moon you were supposed to kill. You rushed past him before he could formulate a plan. His jaw dropped when you didn't hesitate to go straight for the demon's head.
The impact of your gauntlet against raw flesh sounded disgusting, followed by the crack of what he could only assume was bone. You smashed the demon's head against the ground, using your entire weight to squash it like a bug.
After the mission was over he was of sure at least one thing. You definitely deserved your title as a hashira and — if it weren't for him — you would be the most flashy one of all.
Obanai:
Obanai hated demons. He hated them with his entire being. However, when his hatred wasn't directed towards demons, it was directed at you. Obanai hated people like you.
Master Ubuyashiki had spoken highly of you, which is why Obanai was willing to give you a chance and not throw you in a box with all the other useless Demon Slayers nowadays.
Not only were you awfully quiet, basically ignoring all the people around you, you wore armor he couldn't fully understand.
Two gauntlets adorned not only your hands, but slithered all the way up your arms. They were flexible enough to allow you free movement, fitting your body perfectly. Additionally, a matching helmet always sat on your head, hiding your entire face.
Only your eyes gave away that you were more than a decorative object — always observing, always piercing and always judging. His jaw clenched whenever he saw that gaze, believing you thought of yourself as superior.
His former feelings for you got swept away when the two of you joined a mission. You had simply nodded at him, immediately starting to walk away.
"Do not think I will help you out of camaraderie, you will slay this demon alone. Maybe I will intervene, when you have proven yourself too incompetent for your position."
His words had meant to get a rise out of you, but his only answer was another nod. Even Kaburamaru hissed at you, mostly because he noticed his master's hostile stance.
When you actually started fighting your target later that day, Obanai was shocked to say the least. He had wondered why you didn't carry a sword, but you truly only needed your gauntlets to fight.
The fistfight you had with the Lower Moon was brutal, not letting your enemy breathe for even a second. He watched you closely, almost a bit too impressed by the way you perfectly countered each attack.
You only got hit once, which caused you to fall back. He drew his sword, but saw you react before his interference was necessary. With how flexible you were, you put a hand behind your body and pushed yourself back up, charging right back.
The demon's eyes nearly rolled all the way back, when you smashed your head against his, helmet scratching half it's face open and blinding it momentarily.
Killing the demon took only a few more seconds after that, followed by an almost military stance from you. You turned around to your fellow hashira, watching him jump down from the tree he had sat on.
His snake hissed when you grabbed your helmet, gently taking it off to look at him. Obanai's heart stopped for a second, your face looking much softer without the armory roughing up your stance.
"If you believe my form to be lacking, it would be my pleasure to listen to your criticism. I hope I wasn't too amateurish." You told him, which had his heart jumping another time. After classifying you as a cocky rogue, your honesty seemed.. charming.
"...I barely watched what happened. I told you this was for you to handle alone." He retorted, turning to leave already. You took your sweet time putting your helmet back on, but you swore you heard him mutter to himself. "That demon was weak by all means anyway, anything less would have been dishonourable..."
Kyojuro:
Kyojuro was always happy to welcome a new colleague. Many swordsmen had trouble even learning breathing styles, which is why every skilled soldier was a success in his eyes.
When you stood in front of his door one day, claiming that you wanted to have a fight, he was by no means going to deny.
Spars between fellow coworkers could spark the moral. You both could improve by doing this, which he viewed as a great learning opportunity.
"Now then, draw your sword!" Kyojuro got in a fighting stance, watching as you let the box you carried around fall to the ground. The impact with the earth felt heavy, making him stand straight for a moment.
"I am not going to be using a sword."
He watched curiously as you opened the box, grabbing a pair of gauntles. He has already noted how there was no sword or indication of using one on you, making him tilt his head to the side.
"Have you asked for a fistfight, [name]? I must've misunderstood your request." He asked, already lowering his sword until you shook your head.
"Don't worry, Rengoku, you'll fight with your sword." You answered, clenching your fists a few times to check how your gauntlets were fitting. "Don't hold back, they can withstand your attacks."
"I see.. I must mention, nonetheless, that this could be dangerous for—" His eyes widened when you launched forward, metallic gauntlet aimed directly at his body. He turned his sword to the side, barely managing to block your attack.
"I told you not to hold back, Rengoku." You stated once more, a smirk tugging at your lips. His shock faded away, replaced by his strong fighting spirit. "I see how it is. As fellow hashira, let us make the most of this fight!"
And the most of it you did. The two of you fought without pause. The impact of your attacks caused your immediate surroundings to shake several times.
Your fight only came to a halt when your gauntlets crashed with Kyojuro's sword a second time. A silent crack foreshadowing what would happen next. Your eyes widened dramatically, watching his sword break into a dozen pieces.
If a third person were to stand with you, they would've probably laughed from the look you and Kyojuro shared. Shock was an understatement, and then the panic set in.
"Oh, no.. no, no, no.. Fuck, I didn't meant to—" Your rambling was interrupted by a hearty laugh. His hand rested on your shoulder, warm and reasuring.
"Amazing. I did not know you would make me sweat like this. We should train more often, I'm sure it'll set our hearts ablaze!"
Sanemi:
When Master Ubuyashiki told you to befriend the other hashira, you didn't expect him to suggest starting with Sanemi. Everyone in the Demon Slayer Corps knew of his infamous bad temper and hot-headed decision-making.
Nevertheless, you could never refuse your master's request, not after he so gracefully allowed you to be part of this. So, despite your better judgement, you ended up in Sanemi's backyard.
He had already been pissed when he opened the door only to see your face. When you suggested a training match, he even laughed at you. In the end, you ended up here — in his backyard — waiting for him to finally come out and spar with you.
Your train of thoughts was cut short by the familiar sound of metall slashing through the air. You saw the blade of his sword reflect right next to you, before the tip got stuck in the wall you leaned on.
"...What. the. fuck. was. that." You hissed at him, standing up abruptly and looking next to you. He still walked towards you when your eyes inspected the cracks his sword had formed in the wall. A few inches to the right and that would've been your head.
"Didn't you want to train? A hashira should always be ready for these kinda things." He chimed in, a cocky smirk forming on his face. He stopped right in front of you, not pulling his sword out of the wall yet.
You tried to remain calm, but his expressions was enough to have the annoyance rise in you. "No, I'm not doing this. No way in hell am I going to train with a lunatic like you." You barked back, rather talking to yourself than acknowledging him as your counterpart, already pushing past him to leave.
You truly tried to be a good hashira for master Ubuyashiki, but this was just too much. You didn't even start training and the wind pillar had nearly beheaded you.
You would've left just like that, but your words had Sanemi's anger rising to new heights. The man wouldn't let this stand, back against the wall as he retorted. "What did you just call me, punk?"
Any sane person would've panicked by now, the malice dripping in Sanemi's voice far from safe. That being said, how sane of a person you were was debatable. He wasn't the only person known for their aggressive approach.
His pupils shrunk when he heard a loud bang near his head. "Not sure whether to call you deaf or dumb, but you're really getting on my nerves." You basically hissed back, his eyes following your arm.
Your gauntlet had left a clear dent in the wall next to his head, a few pieces of stone cracking and falling to the ground. Perhaps tackling you right then and there would've been more characteristic of him, but the man huffed out a laugh.
He leaned forward until your forehead was pressed against his, eyes drilling into each other. "So that's how you wanna play, hah..?"
The smirk on his face returned and while it was just as dangerous as before, it was much more competitive than annoyed this time.
You both had sore bodies from sparring for hours when the sun rose the next day.
Giyuu:
Giyuu had met you during a hashira meeting a few months ago, but you two have never engaged in true conversation. It wasn't like Giyuu hated you. With a sirene aura surrounding your very being, you seemed truly nice after all.
However, as nearly anyone who knew him could guess, he wasn't the most talented person when it came to engaging with others. That must've been the reason you never really talked to each other.
As fate would have it, Master Ubuyashiki was the one to force you into contact. A rural area was reported to be filled with demons that have taken the life of many Demon Slayers. The master didn't want to risk the life of more people than necessary, deciding to finally have two hashira clear the area.
Your trip there was rather quiet, neither of you knowing what to say. In the end, the silence between you felt thick with discomfort and unspoken conversation.
The first interaction you shared was when you stood in front of the old village. No citizens lived in the old buildings anymore, but you could sense a few Demon Slayers roaming around, followed by various demons.
"It is best to split up. We will be able to cover more ground that way." You stated, checking on the other hashira. Giyuu nodded in response, looking at you before his eyes changed directions.
"Let us meet in the middle. If the situation gets out of hand, we retreat and move together from then on." He added, his smooth voice seemingly fading with the wind.
You split apart after acknowledging the plan, entering the village from the other side. There were more corpses than you liked to admit, only a handful of Demon Slayers still alive. You made sure to pair them up before moving towards the center, knowing that danger might still be lurking nearby.
Giyuu didn't managed to arrive before you, already recognizing your figure in the distance before had reached the center. His hand was on his sword, having taken note of the two demons you were fighting.
They were clearly not part of the twelve kizuki, but strong nonetheless. Yet his grip loosened drastically when he saw you fight.
The pair of gauntlets on your hands reflected the moonlight, almost appearing purple under the night sky. He felt entranced by your elegant movements, seeing how you took advantage of your weapon in ways he would've never thought of.
With how precise your movements were, your gauntlets almost looked like swords. You effortlessly slashed them through the air, decapitating one demon before ending the next.
Your eyes focused on him after landing on your feet, the faintest smile forming on your face. However, the water pillar could only look away, feeling oddly shy under the starlight. A simple nod of acknowledgement delivered his acknowledgement of your skills.
Gyomei:
Gyomei wasn't surprised when he was notified of your new title as a hashira. In fact, he was the one who recommended you for this position in the first place.
When he had first taken note of your skills, it had been during a simple mission. The trip to your destination was long — two days the both of you used to get to know each other.
The giant felt a bit proud when you inspected his weapon in awe, surprised by how heavy it felt. You listened happily as he told you about other people's reactions, that they were often perplexed by his lack of a sword.
Yet you had laughed in response, sharing how you felt the same way when other people joined you on your missions. Of course his curiosity was awakened after such a statement, wondering about your weapon of choice.
You handed it to him with a puffed out chest, proudly showing off your pair of nirichin gauntlets. His rough hands traced them carefully, taking his time to sense every detail.
They were much heavier than expected and almost as big as his own hands. He could tell that they must be quite large on your body, considering that most people were much shorter than him.
When he spoke about how he'd like to gauge your skills one day, you were eager to show him. Ultimately, the two of you decided that you would fight the demons alone until he deemed it as too risky.
Luckily, that moment never came. He stood nearby as you fought three demons without his interference. They were weak on their own, but their teamwork made them dangerous. The average Demon Slayer would've fallen in a matter of moments.
Things were different when you fought, however, considering your skills were far above average. He could feel when your gauntlets hit an opponent, the impact causing air to swirl around chaotically.
Your footwork felt like the exact opposite of your attack. While Gyomei silently observed the fight, he heard the soft crunch of earth under your soles. You were surprisingly light-footed.
At last, the demons' heads hell before they were able to realize that you were far superior to their tricks. You turned to Gyomei the moment it was over, heart pounding in your chest as you waited for his evaluation.
"Your skills are truly impressive, [name]. Once we have returned, we shall speak about your place in the Corps." He noted, rubbing a heavy bracelet made out of prayer beads between his hands.
"...My place in the Demon Slayer Corps?" You spoke, your voice sounding meek all of a sudden. You have never been arrogant about your strength, often found yourself lacking in many ways. His words had you overthinking, fearing that your skills had been more than just lacking.
"Indeed. I believe we have overseen your talent for far too long."
Your heart skipped a beat when he spoke, your eyes stuck on his face. He was serious. You couldn't believe a hashira — especially the strongest of them all — praised your skills like this.
And who were you to deny a superior's judgement?
Male Hashira x Female Reader — Without The Sunlight
Request: Hi dear, I don't know if you can write Hashira x fem.reader that allegic to sunlight and have meet mistaken as demon. They hurt them to find out that they just a normal human being. If you feel uncomfortable you can just ignore this. Hope you have a good day.
Pairing: Tengen x Reader, Obanai x Reader, Kyojuro x Reader, Sanemi x Reader, Giyuu x Reader, Gyomei x Reader
Content Warning: descriptions of violence, reader gets stabbed (Sanemi's part), reader has albinism
Before we start this piece of fiction, let's indulge in a bit of background information.
I've been wondering whether there's an actual illness that causes extreme reactions towards sunlight. While I know that people with albinism, who have little to no melanin are affected by the sun and that there are multiple other conditions that lead to the same outcome (e.g. solar urticaria) they don't seem "extreme" enough for this story.
I don't want the reader's condition to be completely unexplained though, which is why I'd still condition them with albinism. We're talking about an extremely severe case, which directly harms one upon coming in contact with sunlight. While I have no medical knowledge of such cases, it seemed better than simply saying: "The sun is bad, you burn like a witch drenched in water."
That being said, I hope you enjoy yet another one of my posts.
Tengen:
• He had suspected that something was wrong with you. When the hashira first saw you, pulling his sword out of his sheeth, you ran away fast enough to let him know something was wrong.
• Naturally, he had thought you were a demon, who had encountered one or two Demon Slayers in the past. It wasn't all too rare to see a demon strong enough to kill normal recruits.
• However, since Nezuko's case had been made public, he knew that not every demon was automatically bad. Running away instead of showing bloodlust — he thought you might be an anomaly too.
• Of course you couldn't know that. He was much taller than you, had two blades sharp enough to kill you in an instant and ran like his life depended on it. There was no way he wouldn't hurt you, right?
• That's why you ran, you ran wherever your feet dragged you — down the street, into alleys and past numerous rows of houses — until you left the village's safety.
• However, without the shadows cast from the village, you were helplessly exposed to the sun. You knew this would harm you, but with the man chasing you, you could only proceed.
• Tengen's eyes widened when you stepped into the sun, running after you, but momentarily stopping when you fell to the ground, letting out a pained sound.
• He was by your side instantly, taking in the way irritated splotches formed on your skin. Despite the strong reaction to the sun, it wasn't killing you.
• You barely registered how a strong pair of arms pulled you back into the shadows, carefully handling you now. "It burns.. it burns.." You sob quietly, reminding him of a wounded animal.
• His brows furrowed, the sight of how helpless you seemed hitting him like a brick to the face. You definitely weren't a demon and — while he couldn't explain your strong reactions to the sun — he felt guilt welling up inside him.
Obanai:
• Obanai's feet silently dragged along the forest's floor, knowing that he had to walk his rounds and make sure no one was in danger. It certainly wasn't his ideal night, but he would never deny orders.
• When he saw another being — white hair shimmering in the moonlight and skin abnormaly white — hunched over the ground, his inner alarm went off.
• He first though you were a demon currently feasting on a human you'd captured. His arm shot up, Kaburamaru reacting to the gesture. The snake's eyes zeroed in on your figure.
• "Kaburamara, attack." Obanai said, watching his snake shoot towards you with a hiss. The white reptile's fangs buried into the skin of your arm, not hesitating to attack it's opponent.
• ...Only that you weren't an opponent. The sharp pain in your arm made you cry out, stumbling to the side. Obanai rushed forward, ready to behead you, but what he saw abruptly made him stop.
• Mushrooms. The remnants of the innocent he had expected weren't scattered along the ground, individual patches of mushrooms catching his eyes instead.
• "Stop, Kaburamaru! Stop!" He chimed in, the snake's fangs retracting immediately. You didn't notice the hashira until he was kneeling by your side, his eyes wide with shock.
• You were clearly a human, but your skin was pale, your irides a reddish color. A basket had fallen over near you, different herbs forgotten and scattered.
• His jaw clenched behind his mask, knowing that he has to act fast. Not only was your appearance throwing him off, but also the wound from Kaburamaru and the irritated areas all over your body.
• With nowhere else to go, he brought you into the butterfly mansion, getting you treated. It was Shinobu who explained that you were just a normal human, that your body worked different from his.
• Luckily, he didn't push you into the sun to prove it afterwards, trusting Shinobu's words. However, his carelessness did get punished. Attacking an innocent civilian was against the Demon Slayer Corps rules.
• His punishment wasn't too harsh, he was a hashira after all. In the end, he had to take care of you until you've felt completely healthy — bite mark and wounds from your condition included.
Kyojuro:
• He had not mistaken you for a demon, but only because the real demon stood right next to you, ready to pounce on it's prey.
• He had heard your scream from afar, running towards the alley the sound had come from. His eyes lock on the scene in front of him — you're retreating into a corner while the demon came closer.
• The next moments are a whirlwind of actions, one thing happening after the next.
• He attacks, throws himself between you and the demon. You run the moment you are sure it won't pounce on you immediately. Kyojuro blocks it's attacks with all his might.
• You can feel both him and the demon right behind you when you're about to run out of the alley. However, when Kyojuro jumps away fo create distance from the attacking enemy, the two of you bump into each other.
• He was much stronger than you, leading to his body pushing yours out of the way. You stumble forward, body being thrown out of the alley and onto the open street. Your eyes widen when you feel the sun shining right at you.
• Your skin starts burning, your eyes get watery and your head starts spinning. The feeling on your skin spreads everywhere, forcing a startled cry out of you.
• You don't even think of crawling back into the alley, hands desperately scratching along your skin, trying to force the feeling of being burned alive away.
• Only when Kyojuro defeats the demon does he look at you again, perplexed by the way you curl up in pain, panting and occasionally groaning in agony.
• He's fast to hold your body in his safe arms, bringing you back into the alley. Without knowing it, he had brought you away from the harmful sunlight, setting you down against a wall.
• He meant to place his hand on your shoulder when you basically sob out not to touch you. He's shocked, but listened. The rashes all over your exposed skin confuse him, the way you're scratching them making everything worse.
• He would've preferred holding a normal conversation with you, but you were panicking and harming yourself. His tensed hand came to your neck before you could react, hitting a place that made you lose consciousness.
• When you wake up, you're in a room not known to you, looking around in confusion. The door opens a moment later, revealing the man you've seen shortly before everything went black.
"Ah! I see that you are awake." Kyojuro stated, moving closer with a tray of simple food in his hand. He kneeled down beside your futon, determined eyes not leaving your uncertain gaze. "Is everything alright? Your body had unexplainable wounds all over."
• You look down on yourself, gaze lowering when you take note of the wounds and scratch marks all over your skin. You felt pathetic under his gaze, swallowing your pride.
• He didn't judge you, listening to your explanation as if it was the most interesting thing in the world. He even startled you a few times when he suddenly asked a question, almost too loud for your liking.
• "I see, you are not a demon then!" He answered, not questioning whether your story was true. You were the confused one this time, listening to his explanation.
• Demons. It sounded ridiculous at first, but then images of that thing back in the alley shot through your mind. In the end, you could only nod, having to accept that his story was as true as your own.
• Despite feeling better than one might expect, Kyojuro offered you to stay in his estate for a few more days. You accepted after a moment of hesitation, figuring you could learn more from the man in front of you.
Sanemi:
• There was no way in hell that Sanemi would let a demon stupid enough to appear during the day live. You walked near a forest path, only to hiss when the sun burned your skin in a matter of moments.
• He started chasing you immediately when he saw how you wanted to retreat into the woods. You didn't get time to react, body being slammed against the closest tree.
• "..Hah? Didn't know demons are dumb enough to wander under the sun these days." He laughed, irritated eyes stuck on you. The smile plastered on his face send a chill down your body.
• "D- demon? What are you talking about?" You stuttered, gradually shrinking under his eyes. Despite not understanding the situation, you could tell this man was a threat. "I'm not a demon—"
• The hashira didn't let you finish talking, blade drawn in one second and penetrating your flesh the next. A loud cry vibrated in your chest, body arching away from the hard wood scraping your skin.
• He didn't feel any empathy towards your pained sounds. You weren't human — skin a deadly white, hair without any color and eyes foreign to him. Demons didn't deserve pity.
• Yet the cold sweat forming on your face, the tears rolling down your cheeks and the hot blood running down your arm had his smirk drop. You weren't regenerating.
• And then he felt it. The steady thrum of your heart was faint, but it was fast, adrenaline filling your entire body.
• "It hurts! It h- hurts!" You panicked, wide eyes looking at the sword sticking in your shoulder. His expression seemed to mirror yours when he realized what was going on.
• "Shit.. shit, shit, shit, shit, shit!" He let go of you, catching your body before you slumped to the ground. He started running towards the wisteria mansions he had come from as if his life depended on it, because yours did.
• To say you were on bad terms with him after the treatment was over and you got a few days of rest was an understatement. You were mad — rightfully so.
• When he visited you, he stood in the doorway like a dog with it's tail tugged between it's legs. He had problems meeting your gaze, but made the effort to explain his actions to you.
• You weren't enthusiastic at first, but he came back again. And again. And again. The day he held a bouquet of flowers in his hand — Tengen had told him how to apologize properly — you couldn't contain the laugh slipping past your lips.
• His cheeks were flushed from embarrassment, asking whether you were feeling better, if you would accept his flowers.
• Before he knew it, the thought of your dismissal growing closer tugged at his heart.
Giyuu:
• His feet carried him along the mountain's landscape until he saw a figure in the distance. His mission had spoken about a demon nearby, infamous for attacking the innocent on cloudy days.
• Your pale complexion and purplish eyes had him attack without a second of hesitation. It wasn't exactly his fault, considering that the only description of his target was having a ghostly appearance.
• The cry that tore from your lips was nothing new. He had heard enough demons scream after his attacks to not show remorse in his actions. He didn't kill without reason, he did what was righteous.
• Then he heard it, the soft sound of something hitting the snow. He turned around, his brows furrowed lightly. He hadn't gone in for the finishing blow, simply gave you a warning slash. That wasn't enough to kill a demon, not until it's head fell.
• However, you weren't a demon. A normal human — with a fragile body no less — could not stand the harsh wounds his sword dealt. The moment you got hit, your body fell to the ground.
• The hashira moved closer swiftly, his body towering over your curled up form. You seemed.. hurt. And that was when it clicked. Demons didn't feel pain the way humans did, you should've helped yourself by now.
• The mixture of pained and scared sounds spilling from your lips were far from what any demon would have done.
• He scooped you into his arms without further delay. He had made a horrible mistake and needed to correct it now. Without the butterfly mansion or any wisteria houses nearby, Giyuu took you to his estate instead, but you barely registered, consciousness slipping away.
• When you woke up again, you found yourself in an unfamiliar room. You tried sitting up on the futon you had been resting in, a hiss leaving your lips. You must've been hurt badly, as your entire torso was carefully wrapped in bandages.
• The second thing you noticed were the curtains. They've been pulled shut, a few candles in the room the only source of light. Your right arm was covered in blisters, a sign that you've been in the sun for too long.
• Lastly, you noticed him. He sat right next to your futon, but there was no visible movement coming from him. You flinched lightly when the man's eyes suddenly met your own, icy gaze not wavering.
• "..My apologies. I did not mean for that to happen." His voice — quiet but steady — filled the room. You pulled the blanket further up your body, distrust written all over your features.
• "You didn't mean to attack me with a sword." You stated, your voice laced with suspicion. He took in a breath, already knowing that your reaction was to be expected.
• "I promise to elaborate on everything later, but you should rest for now. Your body is still weak." You looked away, unsure how to take his message. It wasn't easy to trust someone that attacked you without reason. Your eyes landed on the curtains, which didn't go unnoticed by Giyuu.
• "They were open before. I did not want to make you feel trapped, but then your skin reddened. I figured it was because of the sun."
• After he spoke, you both were quiet for some time. You didn't know whether you could trust him, but you figured that someone with bad intentions wouldn't have taken care of you like this.
Gyomei:
• It had been in broad daylight when you and Gyomei have met. Being the spiritual person he was, Gyomei often found himself surrounded by nature.
• You, on the other hand, have been nearby to avoid the sun. The long path leading towards your hometown had a forest on it's right side. You weren't able to take in the day's beauty on the path next to you, opting to walk through the forest's low bushes.
• When the man heard a loud cry nearby, he rushed towards it's source. If someone was in danger, it was his duty as an upstanding man to help. Before he even reached his destination, a wild boar ran past him.
• He was startled, but forced himself to continue until he reached the long path ahead of him. There you were, your body thrashing around on the ground.
• He could hear the way your nails scratched along your skin, your body scraping along the ground as you writhed.
• His first instinct was to wrap his hand around your neck, his unforgiving grip holding you in place. He had mistaken you for a demon, thinking you tried to save yourself from being burned by the sun.
• However, when you only began sobbing, he hesitated. The realization that he'd made a horrible mistake dawned on him.
• You didn't respond to any of his questions, which eventually left him to trust his deduction — you had been trying to move towards the forest again and again.
• He picked your body up, quickly jumping into the forest's forgiving shadows. By the time the sun wasn't attacking your skin anymore, your body felt sore all over, head hurting from his grip and the pain coursing through your body.
• He made an effort to take you to his estate, knowing that he had to fix what had been broken. You didn't trust his intentions at first, trying to go your own way, but the blurry feeling in your head had you in no position to refuse.
• Explaining his actions to you seemed like the least he could do, but you were surprisingly open about what he'd said. Perhaps it was because he had nursed you back to health, but that was enough for him.
• He had feared you'd run away while he was on missions, running into a demon's arms while he was away. Luckily, you had shown enough trust to stay, albeit your suspicion had you both on edge for a few days.
Male Hashira x Reader — Thick Thighs Save Lives
Request: Can you please do something to the male pillars and being with a soft, mitsuri kind of nice fem reader on a mission with them? The reader is very shy and soft and cute, but they see the reader choking and even beheading a demon with their thick thighs alone. If not, then it's okay and you can ignore this! Much love!
Pairing: Tengen x Reader, Obanai x Reader, Kyojuro x Reader, Sanemi x Reader, Giyuu x Reader, Gyomei x Reader
Content Warning: None, demons getting smothered by your thighs(?)
Tengen:
• He's immediately fond of you. You're one of the nicest people currently working for the Demon Slayer Corps. While you maybe don't have the most flashy looks, he can certainly vouch for your personality.
• Tengen loves nice people and his wives can only agree. When he first brought you to his estate, they were just as smitten as him. You perfectly fit into their family dynamic, which automatically had then integrate you into their lives.
• The shock came when Tengen joined a mission with you. He only knew you as the sweet Demon Slayer working under him, you weren't even a hashira. With how nervous you often appeared, he believed your skills were mediocre.
• Who would've expected a sweet person like you would absolutely smother a demon's neck between your legs, having the monster choke out in panic.
• He couldn't even help, because he would hurt you in the process. So he stood there, reduced to watching, seeing you pull out a xiphos and slicing the demon's neck straight off.
• The demon disappears, only for you to stand there with those big eyes, asking if you did good. Of course you did, though that was.. definitely different from what he expected.
Obanai:
• He didn't trust you at first. You were surprisingly happy for this kind of occupation. How can you smile at him everyday when you kill dozens of demons at night?
• But oh- the way you smile at him... He could ignore it the first few times and even for a couple months, but you wouldn't give up. Smiling and talking just wasn't enough for you, was it?
• He couldn't stop himself from thinking about you when he knew that you wanted to know him better so eagerly.
• When you finally had a mission with him, he was truthfully quite excited to spend some time with you. He thought it would maybe spark a closer relationship.
• Truth be told, he didn't want you to be helpless, but he would enjoy showing off his strength too.
• His eyes went wide when he saw you breaking a demon's neck with only your thighs. You didn't stop there either, breaking it's neck repeatedly whenever it regenerated. And when you had twisted the enemy's neck enough, you broke it straight of it's body.
• The blush that crept up his face was luckily hidden behind his bandages, but his heart was beating wildly. He had planned to show you his skills, but now he saw you kill a demon without any weapons. You looked up at him with that cheeky smile, clearly proud of your achievement.
Kyojuro:
• The first time he met you was when you two joined hands for a mission. You already stood near a local inn, happily waving at the approaching hashira.
• The sun was still standing tall, leading you both to search for a fitting place to eat. It couldn't hurt to fill your stomach before fighting for your life.
• The way his heartbeat picked up upon hearing you giggle at his eating antics was.. surprising to say the least. He had seen a fair share of people ignore him when eating because it annoyed them.
• And the way you handled the demon had him in even more awe. You were truly phenomenal, quite literally beheading the demon with the strength in your lower body.
• When everything was over he grasped your hands, having you squirm from embarrassment and surprise. You couldn't believe that a hashira spoke to you so earnestly.
• Kyojuro was surprised by his actions too, but he needed to show his admiration. You had potential, enough to have him basically blurt out how he wanted you as his tsuguko.
Sanemi:
• You were annoying. God, he couldn't believe that he got paired up with you. Your personality wasn't anything new, which is exactly why he didn't look forward to his upcoming mission.
• You were cheerie, cheerie enough to have him groan out in frustration every few minutes. Why did every darn thing have you react so strongly?
• He certainly didn't hate you — that seemed excessive — but he'd rather keep his distance. Much to his surprise, exactly the mission he dreaded most changed his opinion on you.
• The demon you've both fought had been more than frustrating. Whenever it wasn't in immediate contact to solid substances, it could shift through thin air.
• While he fought with the demon, you jumped at the monster from behind, knocking it over with the sheer force of your attack. The demon crashed onto the ground hard, the weight of your body holding it down and stopping it from changing positions.
• He was shocked, seeing your legs press the demon into the ground, hand grabbing it's hair and keeping it's head pressed into the dirt. Now you just needed to behead the demon with your blade, but— Where was your damn sword?!
• "Shinazugawa, your weapon!" You called, making the man move. His knee hit the ground next to you, his blade slashing through the demon's neck, careful not to cut your thighs in the process.
• The demon dissolved right in front of your eyes, but Sanemi didn't relax. His irritated gaze fixated on you. "Where's your sword?!"
•"Sword? I don't have one—" "Then what the hell are you doing when no one else is there?!" He nearly screamed now, standing up and brushing the dirt of his uniform.
• "What do you mean? I just tear their neck's off?" He seemed even more shocked now. Following your gaze, he realized you didn't talk about your hands.
• Your fingers brushed over your thighs, trying to wipe the blood away. He averted his gaze, not wanting to seem immodest by staring at the plush flesh for too long.
• Killing demons with your legs alone? Now you certainly had his interest.
Giyuu:
• One might think with his naturally quiet personality, he would dislike people that seem like the complete opposite of him.
• To everyone's surprise he doesn't hate you. In fact, he enjoys your company greatly. Since most members of the Demon Slayer Corps try to avoid him, it's refreshing to have someone by his side.
• You often visit him when you're nearby. You talk to him regularly, filling the void when he can't seem to hold a proper conversation. The thought seemed foreign, but he considered you someone precious.
• The news of joining you on a mission brought the faintest smile to his lips, glad that it was you he could spend time with. He would probably mess up once or twice, maybe do something embarrassing, but it would be worth it.
• He already knew fulfilling the mission wouldn't be a problem, but — since you weren't a hashira — he was almost sure it would be thanks to him.
• Just like predicted, your victory was trouble-free, but entirely different from what he'd expected. Instead of his sword slicing through the demon's neck effortlessly, you had the monster trapped between your thighs. The unhealthy crack coming from your direction, had him on alert.
• Truth be told, he could only suspect what happened next. Seeing how abnormally the demon's head had deformed, he was sure you had crushed it's skull. As if that wasn't enough, you twisted the demon's head off right after.
• "Are you.. are you okay?" He asked, his bewildered gaze stuck on your legs. It was hard to believe that flesh — especially looking as soft as yours — could break bones that easily.
• You chuckled in response, your cheeks heating up from the bashfulness slowly filling your body. "It's— I'm not the best with, you know, the sword. But this— I can do this and it's just—"
• "..Truly impressive. I should've noticed sooner, but it's seldom I ask question about your life, I suppose—" He seemed almost in awe, speaking much more than he usually would. The other hashira would've been shocked.
• "It's okay, I don't mind." The smile you bestowed upon him was sweet enough to have his eyes soften slightly. "I talk a lot, but you always listen to me. I appreciate it."
• "...You could visit me sometime in my estate. I would like.. to spend more time with you." Did that count as a date, I wonder?
Gyomei:
• There is nothing in the world that could make him hate you. You're an earnest, hardworking and nice person. He cherished these character traits greatly, which had you two naturally close.
• Furthermore, he had heard that you proudly owned multiple cats. When he finally mentioned it, you were cheerful about the matter. "Do you want to see them? I'm sure they'd like you!" Yes, of course he would love to see your cats.
• Just like you had expected, your cats enjoyed his company. They must've sensed his good intentions, willingly sneaking near him, the meows of your dearest companions filling the room.
• When he joined you on a mission for the first time, he was confused to say the least. Of course he didn't see what had happened, but he could definitely tell the difference between a breathing demon and thin air. However, without having heard the familiar slash or crush of a weapon, he couldn't help but be confused.
• "Did the demon flee?" He asked, lowering his axe. You shook your head before verbally answering. "No, I beheaded it."
• "You beheaded it?" "Yes, just a few moments ago." Your mellow voice threw him off even more, slowly putting his weapon away.
• "Forgive my insolence, but I did not hear you slicing through the demon's head." "Oh, no! You've got it all wrong!" Gyomei grows silent, rubbing his hands together as if it would help him find the answer.
• "I crushed it's head open and broke it off." You chuckled, the vile description having you slightly embarrassed. You didn't want to sound like a madman. "..With your hands?"
• "No, no, I fight with my legs only!" You chime in. He quietly listens, hearing your feet move around the ground, as if you were reevaluating your stance.
• "I have really strong legs.. I've got them from my dad, I guess!" You admit, his body slowly relaxing again. He seemed less confused now, a faint smile forming on his face.
• From spending so much time with you, he could already tell how flustered you had become. He steps towards you, inviting you to follow him back home.
• "If you do not mind, I would love to hear more about your fighting style." A bright smile formed on your face. You couldn't say no to such a kind offer.
Male Hashira x Reader — Too Late
Request: I am going FERAL over your writing. Could I request/suggest Hashira finding their S/O dying or already dead from a mission? Anyway your super awsome!!!
Pairing: Tengen x Reader, Obanai x Reader, Kyojuro x Reader, Sanemi x Reader, Giyuu x Reader, Gyomei x Reader
Content Warning: angst, death, descriptions of blood, body horror(?)
Tengen:
The news of your death weren't spectacular, nobody had warned him about the impending doom. He simply went out one day, stopping when a crow landed on the compound wall near him.
His eyes narrowed when the crow landed, flipping it's wings a few times before settling in it's place. The bird lowly rattled before speaking.
"Caw! Caw! Slayer [name] has fallen!"
He had expected to be called for another mission. He had expected a hashira meeting. The only thing he didn't expect was this.
"..What?" He breathlessly asked, hand clenching in response.
"I repeat, caw! Demon Slayer [name] has fallen after a demon encounter last night!" The crow croaked, flapping it's wings once more. It set off without another word, disappearing into the sky as if it hadn't brought despair upon him.
He turned to look back, his estate in the distance. His wives must've still been sleeping, the day had barely started. He swallowed, his throat feeling dry.
He couldn't wake them, couldn't let their day start with such horrifying news. Yet he didn't want to handle this alone, not when he lost someone he held dearly.
An all too familiar pain set in his chest. He felt lost. For the first time in years he stood without a plan, without orientation. For the first time in a while he didn't know how to proceed.
Obanai:
He was going to puke. The room was filled by a familiar odor, one he recognized from many missions — it belonged to the deceased. He was usually able to swallow his discomfort, to let the scent light his anger.
This was different. This was you. He told himself to be prepared when the news of your death arrived. He told himself you would've hated seeing him cry or grow unresponsive.
Now he stood here, memories from his past filling his entire being.
You'd been dressed into a simple kimono. It adorned your skin beautifully, but the sight seemed to mock him. Seeing the right side of your kimono wrapped over the left side, he felt nauseous. It was a custom reserved for the deceased, but it shouldn't have been for you.
His hand found yours, grabbing it hesitantly. Cold. Your skin felt cold and it was bruised. Despite the garment adorning your skin, every visible patch of skin seemed bruised and clammy.
He had heard of your encounter with one of the kizuki, but seeing it for himself was horrifying. You didn't just die, you must've been in unbearable pain.
He let go of you, pulling back as if the touch had hurt him. The kakushi nearby didn't get to speak, eyes barely managing to follow Obanai as he left.
He held his hand over his mouth, a sheen of cold sweat over his entire body. If it hadn't been for his fast departure, he'd have surely emptied the contents of his stomach from nausea.
Kyojuro:
Nobody told him about your death, nobody told him how he would find out. In fact, he stood up with a positive feeling that day, thinking the day would hold fortune.
However, the moment he stepped out of his estate, his fiery eyes went wide. He didn't even get to leave his family's property before the gruesome sight of your body met.
"[Y/N]?" He called out, already marching towards you. His movements got more hectic when he noticed the trail of blood behind your body. He quickly fell to his knees, hands checking your pulse.
It didn't matter how good the day had started, any good feeling left his body when he didn't feel any life coming from yours. No pulse, no warmth, nothing.
"[Name]!" He called once more, rather an exclamation of disbelief than hope for a reaction. It felt eerie how sure he was of your death. His hands flexed as he turned your body around, propping your head on his thigh.
Inhuman amounts of blood had splattered from your mouth, down your uniform and on the ground. His eyes followed the trail of blood behind you, watching it shrink into the distance.
The realization that you've walked all this way set in far too fast. You had been badly wounded and must've hoped for his help. You had believed in him.
His jaw clenched, canines digging into his bottom lip and drawing blood.
How far did you travel? How long did you hold on? How scared were you in your last moments? Your eyes looked empty, disgustingly so. They reminded him of an old doll.
Your nirichin sword was right beside you. It pointed towards his family's estate. He should've noticed your cries for help, the clatter of your blade falling to the ground. He had become strong to protect the people he loved, but now everything seemed to be in vain.
What was he strong for, if he couldn't even safe you? You had been right here and he had still failed you.
"Brother!"
The word snapped him out of his trance, head whipping towards the sound of his brother's footsteps.
"Senjuro! Do not come closer! Stay there!" He called out almost aggressively. He could already imagine his little brother flinching at his words, all too familiar to his father's complains.
He didn't mean to sound rude, but the situation felt like a punch to the gut. The sight of your body was too much for him alone, he couldn't let his brother see this.
"If I hear another shout from here I—" His father froze after pulling open the shoji to his room. He didn't know what shocked him more — the sight of a familiar's dead face or the tears dripping down his eldest's cheeks.
Sanemi:
"Dammit.. Dammit, dammit, dammit!"
He cursed through clenched teeth, the air burning in his lungs as he ran through the woods. Nights were seldmon as quiet as today — no noise, no light, no life.
The two of you have been patrolling peacefully when not only a demon, but an uppermoon, appeared right in front of you.
It was a loosing fight from the beginning. You should've ran, he kept telling himself that this had all been a mistake. Everything was too late when the uppermoon wasn't interested in mocking you anymore and tried killing instead.
Sanemi took the first hit, the sheer force of the demon's attack launching him back multiple meters. He would've come back faster, if it hadn't been for the continuous attacks of your opponent.
The hits were sharper than before, a single blow enough to cut through flesh. However, when he finally reached the two of you, he was met with the sight of your body flying into the opposite direction.
He didn't have time to get a closer look, jumping towards the demon to finish him off. Luck wasn't on your side today. The uppermoon grew bored after a few more blows between them. Sanemi was enraged when the demon managed to flee with a mocking laugh.
Yet his priorities were elsewhere when he didn't hear your response to what has happened, already running again. After five minutes without a single trace of you, he stopped.
He nearly stumbled forward, calling your name and looking around. That's when he felt it. While taking another step, his foot had bumped into something almost.. soft.
His pupils shrunk, a choked sound leaving his lips as he leaned over, picking it up.
A head. Your head, to be specific.
Your expression remained terrifyingly neutral, only a hint of surprise in your wide eyes. You didn't even get the time to react before the demon had sliced your head straight off.
His hands began shaking harshly, eyes searching the ground once more. Your body wasn't even a few meters away, but it wasn't in one piece. It was twisted in a horrific manner, individual body parts scattered around.
And then, after taking in the entirety of your corpse, he began screaming. It wasn't a mad or angered sound, didn't reflect his usually ill-tempered personality.
The white-haired man sounded almost childlike, your head slipping out of his hands and falling onto the ground. He followed as if there was anything to safe, cradling your head and calling your name.
No one would be able to bring you back and no one was there to witness his reaction. Perhaps it was better this way.
Giyuu:
"Gi.. yuu.. it hurts.."
He doesn't answer, his mind too focused on finding the next wisteria house to help you. He needed to find someone, anyone.
The demon that had hurt you wasn't particularly fast or strong, it had simply caught you two by surprise. No one would've expected you to get attacked from behind without a warning.
He beheaded your enemy the second it was noticed, but behind the disappearing demon, his eyes locked onto yours.
You looked scared, hands shaking as you looked down. He barely managed to catch your body before it fell into the dirt, eyes frantically searching your figure.
The warm liquid seeping onto his hand made him look down, blood running cold when he saw a thick branch poking out of your torso. He tried leaning you back, only to hear you cry out. Checking your back felt even worse, realizing that the branch had penetrated your entire stomach.
He ran and ran, not noticing how the moon slowly disappeared in the distance, marking the impending morning. And when he finally noticed something, he fell hard.
The impact with the ground hurt, but he didn't even grunt in pain. He was too busy rushing to your body, hoping his worries weren't proven true.
He didn't know being right could feel this gruesome, but, right now, he wished nothing more than realizing he had been mistaken for he couldn't hear your breathing anymore.
"Don't fall asleep on me! You need to stay awake!" He called, voice filled with urgency. Your body was still warm, as if to give him false hope, but he couldn't feel your heart beating in your chest.
He tried everything — forcing you to breathe, making your heart beat again — but nothing helped.
In the end, he sat there in silence, trying to hold back the pathetic sounds of cries. He didn't stop holding onto you, not even when the sun woke the world.
Soon everyone would rise from their sleep, but you would never get to see the day's beauty again.
How come he had failed to save someone he loved yet again? He was truly pathetic.
Gyomei:
You have seen a ton of people die on your missions. Not only your fellow demon slayers but innocent citizens fell right in front of your eyes.
Death was scary. No matter how many times you've experienced it, you couldn't contain the painful twist in your stomach. Whenever you saw the empty eyes of another human, you felt the looming shadow of your own death hold onto you.
With how frightened every person that died in front of you looked, you would have never expected death to feel this.. peaceful.
Half your body felt like convulsing in unimaginable pain, but you couldn't even move enough to follow the urge to curl up on yourself.
The other half of your body was numb. There was a steady ringing in your ears, but it was too faint to focus on. With unfocused eyes, you could barely make out the shape of the strong hand on top of yours.
It belonged to Gyomei. The man held you in his arms securely, sitting on the dirty ground. He made sure your body didn't come in contact with any of it, as if it would cause you even greater pain.
"It is going to be alright.." He said, his low voice sounding like a faraway hum. You didn't respond, closing your eyes after holding on for so long.
He didn't promise you that you would survive this, because you both knew the truth. Half your torso was sliced upon, blood gushing out steadily. You were already feeling lightheaded from the loss. It was only a matter of time until you succumbed to your wounds.
Yet you didn't fear death, because he was with you. Everything felt.. less scary. It had always been this way, he was there to comfort you when you needed it most.
Even now, he promised to stay by your side until all of this was over. He wouldn't let you live through this alone, nor would he let you die alone.
So when you finally realized your consciousness was slipping away, you concentrated on the warmth of his embrace instead.
He held back from crying until he felt your heartbeat die down. They fell uncontrollably afterwards, dripping onto your face and uniform. His arms tightened around your body, only to release you a moment later, as if you could still hurt from the tight embrace.
Hashira x Reader — Their Taste In Music
Request: Hiiii are you feeling better?? You've been away for like forever and I'm seriously getting worried 😭 if you still take requests how about the hashiras taste in music and maybe how the reader sees it? maybe one/two songs that they really like would be cool too?? If they fit the genre that's nice and if they're surprising even better ♥️
Pairing: Tengen x Reader, Obanai x Reader, Kyojuro x Reader, Sanemi x Reader, Giyuu x Reader, Gyomei x Reader, Shinobu x Reader, Mitsuri x Reader
Content Warning: None
Tengen:
• He has to feel it. While I'm not going to claim a specific genre, he definitely needs music that matches his vibe. It needs to be flashy, he's the most flashy person after all.
• However, while it's not the only thing he listens to, he enjoys pop music. I'm not just talking about any pop music, it's the same pop music teenage girls would listen to. That partially stems from the music taste of his wives, so can you really blame him?
• Other than that, he really needs uplifting music. You won't catch him listening to anything depressing or sad. In his eyes, music is like any other celebration, it needs to get the people going.
• You will not be spared by the way. If he listens to it, you'll listen to it too. Of course that leads to a few wholesome moments between the two of you. Nothing beats a catchy song with Tengen.
Songs he would enjoy:
• Sexy and I Know It, LMFAO
• 24K Magic, Bruno Mars
Obanai:
• If it's nice, it's in his playlist. Now what do we consider nice here? Tengen's definition of good music differs from Obanai's and nobody can argue with that.
• I imagine him to love music that has a more serious vibe. It's not like it has to be exclusively about sorrows and death, but it's not going to be about bees and sunshine either.
• There will be a lot of songs that might have the topic of self-loathing or misery in his playlist. He might have experienced one or two people calling him emo for listening to his music.
• Obanai will only listen to music with his headphones on. He's too annoyed by the opinion of others to listen to his songs openly.
• Even so, he will send you a link to a song he's recently discovered or really cherishes, if you compliment his taste one day. He's too shy to show it to you directly.
• Another thing here: If you really love a mostly catchy and positive genre, he might catch onto the vibe. Imagine his reaction when you point out being able to hear your favorite song blasting through his headphones.
Songs he would enjoy:
• Zitti E Buoni, Måneskin
• Hayloft, Mother Mother
Kyojuro:
• If you laugh at this one, it's okay, because I'm laughing too. For a reason I cannot explain I can only imagine Kyojuro listening to ABBA. I've tried thinking about all kinds of genres — pop, heavy metal, country, classical, r&b, rock — but nothing. It's just ABBA
• His interest awakened in such an obvious way too. His mother would probably often listen to music. There wasn't much she could do, considering her rather frail constitution, anyways. Music might've been an escape for her.
• We already know that Kyojuro deeply cherishes his mother, which is probably why he'd taken an interest in the music she hears. It's not like his mother had only ever listened to ABBA, but it's the group that stuck to him the most.
• Now, whenever you pass his room while he's relaxing for a bit, you can hear the faint rhythm of ABBA songs playing in the backgorund. He's not ashamed of it either, easily admits that he enjoys their music.
• And it's not like they make bad music, right? Even if it's not explicitly your taste, his smile is enough to listen to their voices for hours.
Songs he would enjoy:
• Dancing Queen, ABBA
• Voulez-Vous, ABBA
Sanemi:
• This one is an open debate. There's two options here, either he is an absolute sweetheart that exclusively listens to mushy songs or his taste in music is as hot-tempered as him.
• In the end, I'd think the second option simply fits his character better. It's not because he's going into a rage whenever he listens to music, it genuinely calms him down.
• Others would probably judge him for saying that he feels calm after destroying his eardrums for an hour straight, but he said what he said.
• He won't force his music taste on you either. If you don't like it, then that's it. That being said, he'd probably fall in love with you once more simply seeing you laugh lovingly and telling him that you actually enjoy what he listens to.
Songs he would enjoy:
• Du Hast, Rammstein
• Walk This Way, Run-D.M.C.
Giyuu:
• His opinion is similar to how Obanai views music. His playlist mostly consists of songs he'd accidently stumble upon, but prefer over any generic song that somehow has become a trend.
• He will genuinely get a headache from listening to all the trendy pop songs circulating right now. They sound dishonest and empty to him, which ruins his mood.
• Many songs in his playlist will probably sound as gloomy as him, but not necessarily because of the lyrics. He could listen to love songs too, they just don't sound all that lovey-dovey.
• He's not as careful as Obanai with his playlist. After Giyuu has come to like you, especially when your music taste is already confirmed, he enjoys showing you new songs he's found. When you spend time with him, there's often a song he enjoys playing in the background.
Songs he would enjoy:
• Cupid's Chokehold, Gym Class Heroes
• Crystalised, The XX
Gyomei:
• Surprisingly, I've seen many people say he would exclusively listen to classical music. I don't see it. I think he'd definitely feel drawn to calm music though. Naturally, many classic pieces can fulfill that characteristic, but it's not reducing his taste to simply that.
• I'd argue that he enjoys instrumental music. He simply believes that not every song needs words to communicate and that's completely logical in his mind. Truth be told, it just is.
• However, music of every genre is fine by him, as long as it can stimulate his mind. Sometimes, when he has nothing to do, he enjoys sitting outside and listening to the music he enjoys. The calming atmosphere music brings him is most likely his favorite part about this.
• Surprisingly, I think he'd also enjoy country music, which led to one or two funny moments between you two. You'd just been sitting on the terrace with him when one song switched to another and you'd recognize the tune of a well-known country song. Your small laugh seriously confused him for a moment, but he soon joined in when you explained your surprise.
Songs he would (more or less surprisingly) enjoy:
• My Heart Will Go On, Céline Dion
• Never Go Home Again, Cody Johnson
Shinobu:
• Heavy Metal. I don't think this one needs explaining. She's angry, angry beyond measure and she needs good and loud music to make up for it.
• It's not exclusively heavy metal of course, but it definitely takes up most of her playlist. Every song is chosen to calm the anger inside her.
• She won't openly listen to it either, it will almost mysteriously play through her headphones. She will walk past you with the most innocent smile, while a death growl is vibrating through her head.
• "Is that your playlist?" Silence, then a smile. "Why yes, of course. Why do you ask, darling?" Your face nearly freezes. "It's nothing, I was just surprised.." You chuckle almost bashfully. Never in your life would you have expected this to be her music taste.
Songs she would enjoy:
• Closer, Nine Inch Nails
• Bikini Kill in general
Mitsuri:
• She's an absolute sweetheart and you will hear it in her music. She's definitely someone who loves pop music. Out of all the hashira, she'd probably have the most mainstream taste.
• Now don't get me wrong, mainstream isn't necessarily bad. There's often a reason for something to be popular, no? Luckily, songs she like basically flod the market.
• I don't think she'd be the biggest fan of Taylor swift when I say mainstream, but she'd probably love Chappell Roan and Sabrina Carpenter. She definitely enjoys K-pop too. She'd live for the boy and girl bands.
• There's no shame in her music taste. She'd be eager to show you and is over the moon when you like it. If she somehow ends up cooking, there will probably be a song running in the background while she works and sings along. She certainly won't be mad upon seeing you join.
Songs she would enjoy:
• Pink Pony Club, Chappell Roan
• Put Your Records On, Corinne Bailey Rae
Hair Kink with Tengen

When you decided to go into the bathroom, there wasn't anything that really moved you to make that decision. Pure boredom and the hope to find a distraction forced you to stand up and walk upstairs.
The bathroom door stood open - one of your husband's habits. He always left the door open when he was showering. It wasn't anything new, yet hoping for a kiss, you went inside to see him.
Tengen stood in front of the sink, only wearing his shorts. Not long and they would be gone too, the bathtub was already filled with steaming water. However, when you saw the razor in his hand your eyes widened. He brought it to his chest, seemingly trying to shave the fine hair growing on his body.
"What are you doing!"
He would've been listening to the accusatory tone in your voice more, if it hadn't been for your phone hitting the ground. To his surprise, you completely ignored the expensive article, your wide eyes staying on him.
"I don't know, what did I do?" He looked down at himself. Was he missing a limb? The horror on your face was unbelievable. He checked his whole body, glancing at you again when he didn't see anything out of place.
"Is it because of your cream? Ya said it was fine la-" You shook your head, stepping closer and looking at the black razor in his hand.
"Were you.. going to shave?" You asked. He felt like he was in a game show, the only right answer unknown to him. Were you asking rhetorical questions?
He looked down at himself, glancing at the silver hair on his chest. He looked almost displeased for a moment, as it something about the sight irked him. "I wanted to shave, then take a bath. We could cuddle after-"
You interrupted him again, this time looking at him with a hint of sadness. "Yes, I- I get it, but why?" He looked at you once more, were you seriously asking him why he wanted to shave?
Silence filled the room for a moment, the gears in his head turning. "It's not flamboyant."
"Who told you that?" Your voice was filled with disbelief. Sure, he's been occasionally chasing his arms and legs, but his chest hair? He never even thought of that!
"I heard a few woman talk about it, when I went shopping. They didn't like it, I thought maybe- what if ya felt the same?"
A mix of emotions fluttered up in your body. He wanted to shave for you? That was.. sweet, but you liked his hair! Besides, why would he even listen to other woman? He could've asked you!
"Baby.." The quiet tone of disappointment made him hearken, subconsciously leaning closer. He watched you step towards him, hand gently taking the razor from his, putting it on the sink.
"If you want to shave, that's okay.. but not for others, especially not me.." He felt your hand on his chest, gently rubbing over his body, sending tingles across his skin.
"You know, I really like it.." He leaned even closer, pleasantly surprised when your lips brushed against his neck. His hands were wandering over your body until they could rest on your waist.
"You look so good and I can't help but stare whenever I see you like this.." Hearing you whisper those words made excitement well in his stomach. His hands wandered down to your ass, squeezing the flesh lightly before picking you up.
He waited for your legs to wrap around his waist, pressing his lips against your neck as soon as you were finished. One, two, three kisses and he spoke again.
"That all ya wanted to say, pretty..? I feel like you're trynna hide something." He teased, smirking when he felt you biting your lip. The tension in the room was clearly rising and he just needed one more tease before things escalated.
"..And I really, really, really love your happy trail, baby. It turns me on so much." You felt his hands squeezing your ass, he was waiting for more. His lips were pressing against your neck again, sucking on the spots he knew you loved.
"Ah- and I- I love when you fuck me and I can feel it rubbing against my clit.."
"Yeah, pretty.. Come on, I know you can do more than that." His hands were grabbing your hips, guiding you to bounce on his shaft. Your little tease from before had escalated into a session of intimacy.
You obliged, trying to move up and down with more speed, the force of your movements picking up. He knew this was exhausting for you, considering his packing size, you couldn't ride him for a long time. That didn't mean he couldn't enjoy this though.
The man hissed when he felt your hands on his chest, instead of pressing them against him, sinking your nails into his skin. "Are ya close already, pretty? Fuck, let me help you."
He pressed you down by your hips, making you moan from suddenly being impaled on his cock. He didn't stop, beginning to rock you against him, grinding intently.
"T- Tengen!" You gasped, your clit was being pressed directly against his groin, the white hair creating never-ending friction against the little nub.
"Come on, cum for me." He sucked on your collarbone, letting out a content sigh when he heard you crying out, your insides gushing around his cock.
"Feels good, hm? But we're not done yet, baby." He spoke against your skin. He held onto your body, making sure it didn't hurt when he pressed you against the mattress of your shared bed.
"Haven't come yet, have I? Gotta feel good too." His hands hooked under your thighs, pushing them up until they were nearly pressing against your chest.
"T- Tengen.. I d- don't know if I can go a- anymore.." He glanced at you, listening to your slurred words. He had to stop himself from cooing at you, gently rocking his dick into the depths of your insides.
"All good, I know ya can come another time." He answered, almost pulling out before he thrusted back into you. His curses were nearly drowned out under the sound of your whines.
"S- shit, you're so tight, pretty.." He muttered, he had slowed down his movements, yet he continued slowly thrusting into you. "Relax for me, yeah?"
He leaned down, his tongue pressing against yours as his pace picked up again. The weight of his body got your legs pressing against your chest. You swore you could taste his tip in your throat at this point.
His speed picked up when small tears started gathering in your eyes. With the way you were squeezing his cock he couldn't last long, instead making sure to grind himself against your clit whenever he bottomed out.
And then you were crying out again, feeling him thrust into you a few more times before he was groaning into your kiss.
He leaned back to take in your trembling form, still rocking himself into you. Your insides were clearly milking him for all he was worth, as a good husband, it was his duty to give it all to you.
When you were finally coming down from your high, his warm hands were soothingly rubbing over your legs, knowing that they were likely to feel sore later.
"Ya wanna bathe with me? Water's probably cold, but I could heat it up for us." You only let out a defeated huff, too tired to answer. It didn't matter, he was already helping you up, knowing that you would appreciate a hot bath with him.
Dry Humping with Rengoku
Pairing: Kyojuro Rengoku x reader
Content Warning: nsfw, dry humping, cumming without penetration, inexperienced!Kyojuro
You couldn't complain about your boyfriend, he made you happy in every way possible. Cooking, playing, talking - it was easy to find a dynamic with him.
Was there anything your boyfriend wasn't good in? After months of your relationship, you seriously began to doubt it. Yes, he had a habit of talking loudly, but that wasn't a grand flaw. Besides, you did find it endearing.
Nevertheless, you promised to help him should a situation arise where he needed it. It's just that you were more than surprised when he told you about his virginity one day.
Of course you weren't judging him for not having slept with another person, but the confidence he displayed had simply made this scenario unimaginable for you. "It's nothing to be ashamed of."
"I am not, I have been waiting for the right person. I am glad we found each other!" He answered, his optimism made you smile. Yet questions still bubbled up in you, he had been way too flustered when he told you.
"Then why were you so shy about it?" You asked, holding his hands to comfort the man. The mild blush that had tinted his cheeks darkened in hue, revealing that something was up before he even got the chance to admit it himself.
"I was hoping.. you would help me.." he started, swallowing down the shyness trying to hold him back. He met your gaze, fierce determination setting in.
"Should the day arise when we decide to do.. when you're ready to fully indulge in our relationship! I'm not sure how to start, I want you to guide us - me - through this."
His words made your own cheeks heat up in embarrassment. You probably knew more about this than him, he was right, but were you able to take charge for the sake of your relationship?
"Of course." Your answer came before you could comprehend your decision, yet you didn't pull back. The way he encouragingly squeezed your hand told you everything would work out in the end.
That conversation had been a few months ago. Three or four? You weren't sure. You were too focused on Rengoku, whose legs you were straddling with your own right now.
The tie in his hair had come lose from all your kissing, eventually sliding down and letting his hair fall freely. It was a welcome change, allowing you to tug on his locks whenever your kisses became more heated.
"Kyo.." you muttered against his lips, watching his eyes lazily open. He had been much too focused on the sensation of your tongue pressing and swirling against his own. He answered with a small hum, meeting your gaze.
"Are you sure about this..?" you asked, your voice barely above a whisper. perhaps the question had been needless. His uniform was unbuttoned and slipped down his arms, the fabric pooling by his elbows. You weren't any better, only wearing a yukata and undergarments.
He didn't answer, chasing your lips instead. You understood him, even without words, diving into your shared kiss again. It wasn't hard to feel the bulge in his pants, telling of how desperately he wanted this too.
In a moment of need, you began rocking your hips against him, making his body tense in surprise. He broke the kiss once more, a quiet grunt leaving his parted lips.
"Little flame.. g- gods.." his hips involuntary pressed up, trying to gain more of the sweet friction you were blessing him with. he swore he could feel himself against your most sensitive parts, just like you could feel yourself grinding against the imprint of his cock.
you momentarily forget the needy kisses you have been sharing, instead working yourself into the perfect position to enjoy this moment. his hands tightened around your waist, unsure of why you lightly twisted your hips occasionally, but certainly welcoming the sparks of pleasure it shot through his body.
"T- this.. this feels good.." you finally moaned, trying to copy the movement you have made beforehand, more moans escaping your lips when you successfully found the right rhythm.
"I'm glad you enjoy- oh gods- you like this too.." his head dropped backwards, exposed throat giving you a view of his defined neck. his adam's apple bopping.
You leaned forward, not caring about how your yukata nearly slipped off when your chest pressed against his. Your lips found his neck, sucking on the milky skin.
The action clearly took him by surprise, his hips stuttering up. "If you do it like that, I-"
"Oh, f- fuck.." he cursed, the vulgar language making you stop and look at him. he was panting heavily, his groan filling your ears when the combined pleasure took over his mind.
He let his head fall forward again, resting it against your shoulder as he tried coming down from the exceptional feeling.
"I.. I think I just came.." he panted, feeling you slowly come to a stop. your lips were parted, trying to catch your breath.
Truthfully, you had known how this would rile him up, he wasn't used to this after all. However, you didn't expect him to cum so easily, especially not while still wearing his uniform pants.
"Are you tired..? We can stop-" you offered, but we're quickly cut off by his arms fully wrapping around you. He pulled you even closer to himself, his eyes locking onto yours.
"I'm not, I can still- still continue. Show me how I can make you feel good too, please."
You could feel your skin heating up with his words, your heartbeat picking up. How could you say no to such a request?

Male Hashira + Muzan x Reader — Make It Count
author's note: i finally managed to finish this post. truthfully, only Rengoku's part was missing, but my motivation was completely gone after i broke my hand. i hope you enjoy my thoughts on this and sorry for keeping you waiting.
pairing: Tengen x reader, Obanai x reader, Rengoku x reader, Sanemi x reader, Giyuu x reader, Gyomei x reader, Muzan x reader
content warning: descriptions of blood, death (Obanai, Gyomei)
Tengen:
• in this life, he didn't lose a hand fighting Gyutaro and Daki. instead of Obanai, you were the person called for help. luckily, you arrived earlier, but it changed the outcome of the whole fight
• Tengen nearly threw up when instead of his hand being chopped off, you received a deep cut from Gyutaro, making blood spill over your uniform.
• the only thing keeping him going was that you immediately held onto the demon, forcing him to stay dangerously still. while the demon trashed, he couldn't free himself against your grip.
• luck was on your side when Tengen dashed forward beheaded the green-haired demon. and if it hadn't been for the younger slayer beheading Daki, it could've turned out much worse.
• relaxation fell short, Tengen caught your body and started sprinting towards help, losing consciousness a moment later. he would've never forgiven himself without you by his side.
• happiest time in years when he woke up in a hospital bed, finding you asleep in the bed on his right. you looked better than before. healthier.
Obanai:
• he's blaming himself, somehow this all was his fault. he didn't know what demon the two of you would encounter, nor did he know you'd join this mission with him, but it was his fault.
• trauma caught up with him when a giant snake demon appeared in front of him. his body got tense, blood running cold through his veins. she looked exactly like the demon he had seen ears ago, but she was dead. right?
• you had screamed at him, told him to attack or run - do something. anything. realizing there was no other way, you leap at the demon, pushing Obanai to the side and start to attack.
• he gets thrown to the ground, watching you jump high, sword aimed at the beast calling herself a demon. luck isn't on your side when she opens her mouth, jaw dislocating uncannily.
• her fangs sink deep into your torso a moment later, body feeling an immense pain running through it. Obanai reacts when he sees your shocked eyes.
• if it hadn't been for the weird angle of his attacks, he wouldn't have been able to behead her. if only he had reacted fast enough, your body falling several feet until he catches you in his arms, demon vanishing with a low hiss.
• "Oba- nai.." he couldn't believe it, wouldn't believe it, but the purple tint crawling it's way over your skin spoke to him. you had been poisoned. severely.
• the skin around the bite marks was already fully purple, the color already consuming half your neck. "i don't.. want to die.."
• he wanted to say it wouldn't happen, he wanted to assure you, but instead he only held you in his arms, pressing you close to him.
• one minute and twenty-six seconds — your heart stopped beating right after. yet he only moved hours after you were long gone, the exact time having gone lost in a sea of misery.
Rengoku:
• he was so tired, not wanting to fight anymore, but having to push through. the demon was strong, stronger than any demon he had ever encountered. he can't remember when the fight started, but the sun would rise soon and while the demon kept fighting, his exhaustion was increasing.
• his eyes snapped towards you when he saw you dart towards the demon. he hadn't seen you until then, meaning you had probably come from behind the demon.
• the following part had been his fault, shouting your name in the heat of the moment. it didn't only alarm you, but the demon as well, making it turn around and slash at you.
• you blacked out right after, only hearing the sound of Rengoku's sharp sword gliding through the air.
• when you awoke, you were in an unknown room. your environment was completely white - no, not everything. the warm and bright colors next to you were the most recognizable thing you've ever seen.
• with a bit of pain, you combed your fingers through Rengoku's hair, making the man relax into your touch.
• "i'm sorry." his words were quiet, he didn't have the energy to sound happy this time around. instead he looked at you with soft eyes and a hope of receiving forgiveness.
Sanemi:
• he wouldn't let you die, he wouldn't even think of it. however, it was only normal for demon slayers to get hurt, right? he had multiple scars of his own, he knew he couldn't protect you from everything.
• he just thought he could at least protect you from major wounds. that's why he couldn't believe his eyes when he not only saw the demon slash you, but nearly cut you in half.
• you were lucky enough to safe yourself from a fatal wound on your stomach, but the excruciating pain you felt in your left arm was nearly worse.
• waking up, you didn't remember ever seeing the surroundings you now saw. before you could panic and search for help, you heard a shoji slide open.
• "you.. you're awake." you nodded, watching the man walk towards you. he sat down next your futon, a small plate in hand.
• "eat. you need energy." the gravel tone in his voice made you hesitate, but you still listened to your friend and mentor. however, when you reached towards the plate with your left hand, your eyes widened.
• you watched your yukata slide down your arm, revealing the missing limb. bandages and ointment had been applied, at least that's what the scent told you.
• yet you couldn't stop the tears from forming. what kind of demon slayer would fight with only one hand. you were on the verge of hyperventilating when Sanemi grabbed your arm.
• his touch was never this soft, almost as if he feared causing even more damage. the coldness in his gaze told you the same story. what happened has not only altered you, but also him.
• he didn't talk, the room being shrouded in a deafening silence. when he finally moved again, he only let his hand sink, still holding onto you.
• the pain his eyes displayed were unmistakable. you knew a talk about your last mission would follow, but the change in his demeanour scared you more than the lack of your hand.
Giyuu:
• your eyes snapped open in seconds, body tensing. you had wanted to jump into a defensive position when you felt a painful ache throughout your whole body.
• you hissed in pain, arching your back away from the soft mattress under you. where was the demon? you had been facing him moments prior!
• your heart leaped when you felt a strong hand grabbing onto your arm, gently yet forcefully pushing you back down into a resting position.
• "i couldn't protect you." his voice was quiet, almost shaky. he didn't dare meet your gaze, instead letting his eyes rest on your hand.
• "what..?" you couldn't grasp the situation at first, looking around the room, which you soon identified as part of the butterfly mansion.
• then you looked down at yourself, seeing numerous bandages hide different parts of your body. the aching pain in your back suddenly made sense, remembering the demon you fought.
• your eyes widened in realization, forcing yourself to sit up. Giyuu reminded you to stay in bed, but his resolve slipped when he felt your arms wrap around him.
• "you saved me." the words made him tense. yes, the demon had been strong with a weapon that dealt multiple hits at once, but you were hurt-
• "i think i would've.. died without you." you stated, your voice having dropped in volume. he recognized the tone, you always sounded that way when something negatve played in your mind.
• "i'm glad you're alive." he answered, his voice even more quiet than yours. not wanting you to feel down amymore, he carefully put his arms around you.
• he was sure he failed, but if it would make you feel better, he could play your savior for now.
Gyomei:
• he had never cursed his blindness. it had been his way of living, a small obstacle he needed to face every day.
• he didn't know it would become his greatest fear after years of peace. he had already gone to numerous missions with you, nothing had every stopped you from winning. sure, an open wound or broken bone but nothing too bad.
• so why could he not spot you with any of his senses. he had known your exact location a moment prior, but now it wasn't there anymore. the demon was dead, how could this be?
• a bad feeling bubbled deep in his gut when he felt warmth radiating near him. it was barely there, but he had felt it. he kneeled down, his large hand reaching towards the source.
• he immediately recognized the uniform you were wearing, even when it was soaked in blood and ripped apart. yet his focus was barely there.
• he was searching for something, anything. your breathing had stilled, your warmth had drastically decreased. not a single sound was coming from your body.
• the tears that fell onto your body right after spoke of utter despair. he knew you were scared of death, he wasn't there when you bled out on the ground.
• he carefully wiped the long fallen tears away from your cheeks, closing your eyes in the most tender way he could muster. "i'm sorry."
• he picked your body up, making sure to cradle you in his arms. it was time to go home.
Muzan:
• he knew keeping a human by his side was a miserable idea. he had wanted to turn you into a demon right from the start, but you just had to deny.
• and those reasons you had, so humane, he almost threw up. family. friends. aging. feeling. didn't you understand the superiority of his perfect being?
• nevermind, he could keep you around for a while longer, until you learned how much better demons were.
• how come you would die before you even got the chance to experience such superiority? hit. by a simple demon slayer.
• those pesky animals had annoyed him right from the start. the moment he saw your body fall, he had already gotten rid of the slayer. the incompetence to mistake another human for a demon was disgusting to him.
• his mind was immediately back on you, watching you slump against a nearby tree and sob in agony. he didn't hesitate, the needle forming on the flesh appendage protruding his back shooting towards you.
• those damn emotions would keep you from becoming a demon, wanting to die human. he didn't care, in this matter your opinion was irrelevant.
• the loud cry you let out wasn't anything he would've liked to hear, but it was necessary to keep you alive. just a bit more of his blood and you would never face these problems again.
• he walked to your unconscious body, the sound of a biwa filling the back of his mind. you would learn to like your new existence. he wouldn't give you another choice, you were too important.
It's been a week now or so- What's your arm? Having trouble yet? (I never had a broken arm so I wouldn't know😔)
Thank you for asking, dear.
I hadn't had a broken hand until now either, but there's a first for everything. Somehow it's really hard to write for me right now, I don't feel relaxed while doing it, which is why I temporarily stopped.
It's probably not as bad as I make it sound right now, but I feel a bit useless without my dominant hand. Doing daily tasks is quite hard for me, not necessarily because of the hurt hand, but just because I'm rather clumsy. Naturally, it's like a small disaster when I miss the hand to catch things I accidently drop or when I write.
Luckily, my lover is here to help me. I somehow feel like a burden sometimes, but he assures me it's fine to ask for help. So with all the encouragement I get from him and all the people here that reached out to me, I hope to make a quick recovery.
I broke my hand, please have some patience with me, I can't write properly right now, let alone do daily tasks easily.
I really liked the idea of wolf hybrids hashiras :DD.
so maybe now wolf hybrids hashiras who are obsessed with the reader and the thought of owning the reader so they want to mark them somehow? for example by scenting them or leaving bites, etc.
Male Hashira x reader — Courting Done Right
pairing: Tengen x reader, Obanai x reader, Rengoku x reader, Sanemi x reader, Giyuu x reader, Gyomei x reader
content warning: wolf hybrid!au, omega!reader
Tengen:
• gifts. gifts. gifts. have i mentioned he's going to use gifts?
• such a cute omega, he is more than ready to take care of you and take you in as his tsugoku, his new lover - his everything. you're just not recognizable as his. not yet.
• he makes a point out of bestowing gifts upon you. they always have to be expensive and flashy. the gift that got everything going was a perfume, the same all his wives had.
• every demon slayer knows that exact scent, it's just that there's now a fourth individual wearing it. everyone realized it sooner than you - you carried the same hint as his wives.
Obanai:
• he gives you obvious hints about his courting intentions, directly telling you that he would like to take you to a nice restaurant or walk you home.
• but do not expect him to actually spell it out, he's not the kind of person to do it. by the time you openly acknowledge your relationship, everyone around the two of you has already thought you were mates.
• small presents and weekly dinners are more than common, he needs to show you that he can take care of you.
Rengoku:
• biting and scenting. it started with scenting though.
• when he finds you curled up somewhere, dozing off after a mission, he always does the same thing. as soon as he made sure you're really asleep, he's by your side, warm arms wrapping around your body and keeping you close.
• waking up and realizing that his scent had rubbed off on you, you are more than happy. it becomes natural to wake up with him by your side. the biting started after a kakushi eyed you weirdly. Kyojuro reacts quickly, leaving a bite on your shoulder before nuzzling against you like usually.
• neither of you complains about the new addition to his old habits. in fact, you make sure to doze off near him sometimes, happy to wake up with a new mark.
Sanemi:
• he's possessive of you, definitely not in the cute way either. when he realizes other corps members take interest in you, he's lurking near you. it doesn't take long for others to flee, the man is staring daggers into them.
• he starts to come up with courting methods when he realizes you're not going to be around him all the time. he needs to make his presence known, even when he's not really there.
• he's quick to give you a few pieces of his clothes, telling you to wear them every now and then. the clothes nearly reek of his scent, strong pheromones taking over the area around them. if he wanted to prove he's an alpha, he had clearly succeeded.
• and though the clothes came with the best intention - protecting you - people subconsciously try to avoid you whenever you wear them.
Giyuu:
• he's not to sure about courting you, he had never done so before. he tries to sneak a few secrets from couples he watches walking past him. presents, taking you out, scenting - he had tried it all.
• eventually manages to eat outside with you from time to time, often finding yourself conversing under a tree. he had to stop his tail from swishing around when you leaned against his arm, resting your head against his shoulder. uses the moment to rub his cheek against you lightly, leaving a faint hint of his scent behind.
• it's always a nice surprise to find a small gift from him near your door, wrapped neatly in cloth. he knows that you know where they come from, happy when he sees them on you the next day.
Gyomei:
• with him, you can't say when exactly the courting began. he first offered scenting you a few weeks after you were ranked a hashira. though it was slightly weird at first, you quickly became used to it.
• you knew he would never force the scenting on you, but it somehow gotten to a silent agreement. it was for your safety at first - demons prefered attacking omegas - he could cover your scent with his own.
• however, the simple scenting quickly escalated into a mark or two, nuzzling against each other and eventually leaving bites on your shoulders.
Hey idk if my ask was at the end so idk if you still know it.
I would like to request the hashiras x taller/same height reader if that’s ok?
thank you <3
Hashira x Reader — Tall for what?
pairing: Tengen x reader, Obanai x reader, Rengoku x reader, Sanemi x reader, Giyuu x reader, Gyomei x reader, Shinobu x reader, Mitsuri x reader
content warning: none
Tengen:
• he's READY. he met you and his first reaction was "gods, what?!" without a doubt, he'll walk around you like you're a painting, taking in all your features.
• the moment he's finished his only thought is "flashy!" he will ask what kind of clothes you wear, if you want your demon slayer uniform to look more flashy too. a person like you must be seen!
• more than excited when you meet his wives, watching their eyes go 'o' when they see someone taller than their husband. and you're so nice too! they instantly begin sharing his enthusiasm.
Obanai:
• used to people being taller than him, it wasn't anything special. what really got him going is that YOU seemed to notice the height difference.
• are you looking down at him? no, that's not it. do you not take him seriously as a hashira? he was there longer than you, wrong answer. the secret is revealed when you smiled at him one day.
• "you have a really handsome face, i wish my eyes looked like that." great, his brain stopped working. he found a way to leave the conversation in a matter of moments.
• at least he tries talking to you more often now.
Rengoku:
• "it is my pleasure to meet you!" he's enthusiastic. a new pillar? and your handshake was strong! it didn't take much to engage in a long conversation with him.
• you learn that he's not surprised about your height, but admires you nonetheless. when he said it's a pleasure to meet you, he was serious, he would be happy to engage in more conversations with you.
• really happy when he hears that you're assigned to a mission with him — he was curious to see your breathing style. and it's perfect, it resembles your inner being.
Sanemi:
• he would've ignored you, it wasn't a shame to be smaller than a person or two. he is smaller than his younger brother anyway. then you talked back and let me tell you, he is STRESSED.
• your little remark quickly turns into a heated conversation. the distance between you two closes, foreheads bumping together. that's the moment he stops.
• he will never admit it, but your fierce and determined gaze, the fact you're looking down at him— "whatever", pushes you away and leaves without another word. the blush spreading over his face was luckily not seen by anyone.
Giyuu:
• seeing that you're taller than him, isn't something he really ponders about. you joined the hashira, you are a pillar the other slayers look up to, you are strong. that's everything he needs to know, right? wrong.
• you start talking to him — actually try to hold a conversation. he can't even run away. how come you're taller than him and always manage to sneak right into his personal space?
• but it's okay, he learns that he loves you and you love him. though he must admit, when you pulled him closer once, resting your chin on his shoulder, he felt a shiver run up his body. better not tell you, otherwise it will become a habit.
Gyomei:
• he's surprised, positively. when a hashira meeting was held and he felt an unfamiliar presence next to him, he became wary, looking to the side. he was expecting to hear a new voice, but he would've assumed it to come from anywhere but above his head.
• you're just a bit taller than him, but that was more than enough. even reaching his height was a surprise, but being taller? anyone would be flabbergasted. he was certainly glad when you turned out to be a gentle giant in disguise.
• truthfully, you were surprised to find out he was a gentle being too. the young demon slayers always get the creeps when they see two giants walk past them, looking intimidating until the smallest thing coaxes a smile out of them.
Shinobu:
• she's used to people being taller than her. you weren't necessarily tall, not like Gyomei or Tengen, but you weren't on the small side either. she's glad to be your friend.
• her actual focus on your height was your fault to begin with. she's minding her own business, working in the butterfly mansion, when you come over to help her. she's initially happy, but a vein nearly pops out of her neck when you laugh about having to get the boxes from the top shelf.
• now she relentlessly calls you out using your height when you do something stupid. "maybe the gods should've tried to add more brain than tallness."
"maybe someone's pissed there wasn't enough height for them." you are quick to run away. in an hour or two, she will be calm enough to not poison you.
Mitsuri:
• "wah! the new pillar!" she's in love with you — your looks, your presence, your personality. she's sure that you would instantly catch her eye in a room full of people.
• and then you talk to her and everything seemed great. she truly fell in love with you when you complimented her hair, called her a natural beauty. nobody was surprised when the two of you entered a relationship.
• one of her favorite things is getting picked up by you. she has fun telling you that you're tall and strong and just perfect for her. and of course, you enjoy telling her the same.
