This has to be the freakiest thing to happen to me since I’ve been on Tumblr. The last thing I expected to stumble on was a photo from the album cover of my old band! That is me in the center, way in the back. Liz is on the far left. The photographer was Steve Greiner, who staged the shot and also provided some of the long coats. Sheila Sachs, formerly of the Chicago Reader, did the post-processing. There was no software back then, so Sheila hand-tinted the photo and used cellophane tape to mask where our faces are.

We only made a couple thousand copies of the EP, so it is a rare image.

Thank you to Gray-Card for figuring out my band’s name and surprising me! It made my day.
