hi. hiding this section because i'm too lazy to html all of this, but i'm into psychology, especially in its relation to my interests! character discussions are a big YES—so feel free to leave any asks in my inbox about my interpretation of a character or any questions about them !

i'm a sporadic writer and i sometimes draw, though i don't consider myself an artist. i just doodle for funn🫶

biiig fan of magluck and whatever the hell they have going on in between them . also big fan of the finral, vanessa, & luck family dynamic. idk i like locking up my four blorbos (ft. a dash of langris) and forcing them to be close

i have the hellish combination of chronic depression (pdd), adhd, anxiety (gad), and bpd, so i may not always be readily available, but i try my best!! just please keep this in mind if i suddenly disappear off the face of the earth or take awhile to get to something:)

feel like i should clarify i think the bc ending is. okay/fine/i'm not upset about it but i'm not over the moon either

like i love some of the resolutions that i've heard of or seen but i'm also not-so-happy with other parts. it's mixed feelings idk

just because i voice more negative thoughts doesn't mean i don't like it or that i hate it — i tend to just speak more on criticism than i do compliments or neutrality

i really love the ties of the silvas being family again, love that people did get happy endings, hated the mimosa & noelle thing, loved the yami thing about him leaving just so asta can't boss him around or what others summed it up as 💔

again i do think my actual more unfiltered educated thoughts should/will come after i actually get around to reading it, but for now it's like. i dunno i have mixed feelings with what i've heard

i also do think a lot of my thoughts r just more of personal preference than genuine criticism. HELP! black clover's ending is decent for what it is and the story tabata set out to tell

Tabata why did you of screan their issues after spending so much time on it in the earlyer arcs.

Finral is with lady finesse. To marry her he needed to become heir and take the lordship. Did their shirty parents suddenly change their minds? Did they die and lan n fin sorted their issues out on their own? Did the marriage contact get dissolved off screan and finral just marred her?

There was so much build up to them sorting their shit out for it to just be off screaned.

For all we know they figured it all out right after that joint spell in the spade arc. BUT WON'T EVER KNIW COUSE TABATA GOT BORED OF HIS OWN STORY AND RUSHED A HAPPY EVER AFTER FOR EVERYONE.

so much stuff sounds like it didn't get a proper resolution whatsoever and was instead just a big "...and they all lived happily ever after. the end! Hooray! Whoop de doo da day!" without them having actually done anything to earn it, outside of. Fighting Villains ofc it's a shounen BUT POINT IS a lot of relationships and plotline felt sooo sidelined just to give them this go-happy satisfactory ending that just kinda had the opposite effect imo

I LITERALLY HAVE NOT BEEN ACTIVE IN MONTHS BUT I HAD TO GET ON BECAUSE OF THE BLACK CLOVER CHAPTERS. SPOILERS AHEAF

Okay i read the chapters during school ON the school Chromebook because the chapters came out 11:00 AM my time, and I was tweaking the FUCK out dude. Grey and Gauche are canon, Yami and Charlotte are canon, Fana and Mars are married, Lolopechika and Gaja are getting married, Finesse and Finral are having a baby, RILL AND CHARMY HAVE 7 CHILDREN THAT ALL LOOK EXACTLY LIKE YOU JUST SMASHED THE TWO TOGETHER, AND MY SON (Langris) HAD LIKE TWO LINES OF DIALOGUE. I was pointing to my screen during my class to my friend and I said in a whisper yell "THATS MY FUCKING SON" and oh my goe. WHEN I SAW THE ELVES HAPPY I ALMOST SHED A TEAR. oh and yosuga and mereo are a thing I suppose but I kinda wish mereo stayed single

The ending was certainly rushed imo - there were two timeskips only in the span of the 3 new chapters - and it felt like Tabata was rushing to tie up loose ends with relationships specifically. I mostly wanna hear what yall think though???

i think, imo, how rushed the plot was was possibly the greatest detract for me and was also why i stopped keeping up with it some time ago — i'm more of a bingereader than a marathon runner anyway so probably for the best, but how fast things were moving was definitely like. noticable

a lot of relationships are sorta glossed over as far as i've heard. finral and langris for example: finral's marriage to finnes (finesse? fin..idk bear with me) shouldn't have been possible without confronting the whole "ledior and liliane SUCK BOOTY!!!" ordeal + the brothers working on their relationship further ... but it got entirely sidelined and i don't believe even vaguely mentioned so ? 😭 that kinda stinks

the reliance on timeskips is another thing i didn't. care for personally and am personally hoping the anime adaptation elaborates on (even if it is.. filler... idm atp). i feel like tabata just sorta wanted to end things on a happy note for everyone and just draw things to a close as quick as possible, which led to a lot of loose-ends being cut off 💔

the mimosa & noelle thing is another thing + i just talked to someone on discord abt their thoughts but it seems like such a cop-out to not give either of them a proper resolution, especially after the amount of praise noelle was given for being a well-written female character 😭. having her realize/accept her feelings and then still not do anything abt it for a whole like?? 2 years i think it was???

i wish mereoleona had atayed single as well honestly💔. did she and yosuga even know each other well?? bc i don't remember them ever like. interacting where i left off around when magluck kicked paladin butt

serious note on magluck as well, bit bummed they aren't canon but also didn't expect them to be💔💔💔 they're also like the ONE resolution i haven't seen people talk abt so i'm just gonna hope they got something good at least🥹

maybe i'll read the rest of the manga since it's now completed a few days from noww .. i have stuff i gotta wrap up first b4 dedicating an evening to it

- magna and luck (married) & vanessa and finral (mutual crushes) have all moved in together and are my first 4-resident house

- darius is on an island by himself never to interact with anyone

- ot2 is in a massive polycule where every traveler likes another traveler. except for partitio who likes some completely unrelated character

- meanwhile in ot1, alfyn rejected the person who asked him out and therion got with said person so alfion is dead and buried.

- h'aanit and primrose are married and have a kid named anna-marie

- langris got rejected by the same person TWICE
