Heyy love your stuff and wanted ask if I could request reader who wears a mask that basically covers their eyes and lower half of their face (like the half helmet red hood wore) and one day they decide to show their face and how they react to seeing it for the first time. Preferably with soap and ghost (separate) but either one is fine to. And itâs up to you if you wanna make it a headcannon or not lol! soap thinks your mask is pretty neat! heâs likely joked around a bit about getting one of his own so the two of you could match
if and when you decide to show him your face, heâs waiting with intrigue. what you look like wonât make him love you any less
iâm just thinking that this a two way streetâ you could either decide to do it spontaneously or have him sit down with you and close his eyes until your mask is off.
if you did it spontaneously, i feel like heâd do a double take and initially heâs kind of just like ânew recruit???â until heâs able to take in to consideration that this oh so mysterious person is wearing the same exact clothes as you and also has the same mannerisms as you. (small world, innit?)
if you want to sit down with him and talk about it beforehand, heâs 100% willing to do whatever you want him to do. want him to look away? done. close his eyes? also done. turn around? heâs already doing it. this is your moment and he wants you to be comfortable.
after the initial moment of awe for both scenarios, his first instinct is to reach and touch you, possibly cup your cheek. (if youâll let him) heâd just sit there a bit, thumb swiping over the top of your cheek, gentle and comforting. to him, itâs like meeting you for the first time all over again except this time, his heart is beating 10x faster.
at some point his hand would slide down a bit to stroke your jaw. i can just imagine: the two of you are sitting there, staring at one another intently. his hand is resting comfortably against your face, the warmth of his palm providing you with a sense of ease and comfort: the kind that made your entire body feel warm, like wrapping yourself with a weighted blanket. (âhow âbout that?â)
may or may not ask to try your mask onâ he wants to know if heâd look good in it!
if the two of opt to talk about your mask some more afterwards, heâd ask what prompted you to start wearing one and why you chose the design you did (he feels that it suits you, heâs just curious)

simon respects your wishes for anonymity; the way he does it and the way you do it are two sides of the same coin.
youâd show him when you were ready and if that time never came, that was alright.
heâd love you all the same, regardless of what you looked like or if you chose to never show your face.
if youâd much rather take a moment and talk about it, heâs fine with that. if you need him to do something for you to be more comfortable, consider it done. this is your moment.
with him in particular, iâm just thinking of him taking your mask off for youâ idk why but itâs just, something about it; heâs standing between your legs, staring down at you curiously. with one hand, heâs tilting your head upwards to look at him just a bit. his other is working to remove your mask, which is only just slightly difficult with one hand. itâs an intimate moment.
once itâs off though, the first thing he takes notice of is your eyes and just how striking they are regardless of the color. theyâre enrapturing. (partners with intense eyes are partners that stay together)
the hand thatâs holding your chin moves up just slightly and his thumb is pressed against your lips, the pad of it swiping over the expanse of your bottom lip in a featherlight touch. his touch is warm against your skin and his eyes are sweeping over all of your features in silent admiration, taking his sweet time to memorize each and every inch of your face for as long as youâll let him. (âwould you look at that.â)
the way heâs looking at you has your entire body flushing; when did his gaze get so intense? (jokes on you! itâs always been that way.) it makes you feel exposed almost, like he can see straight through you regardless of whatever facade you try to put on.
perhaps heâd take the time to take off his balaclava alongside you, in a âif you show me yours iâll show you mineâ type of way.
maybe, just maybe, heâd be willing to trade masks with you afterwards. just for a little bit.

He enjoys watching you immerse yourself in whatever youâre drawing and he finds it especially amusing if youâre one of those people that sticks out their tongue when theyâre focusing or makes a certain expression when theyâre super focused
He also appreciates anything and everything that you draw, regardless of if you think it came out terriblyâ heâs thinks itâs pretty cool all the same (especially if theyâre little drawings of him, or if you donât draw people, the scenery around you, animals youâve seen, etc.)
Soap has definitely asked if you could draw him or if you have before (And if you have, heâll tease you about it just a bit)
^ He might get a lil grin on his face when you show him a finished portrait. Expect one in return at some point
To be honest, I can see him trying to get you to do those little things where one person draws something and then the other adds on to it. Youâll probably end up with something like a dog in a cowboy hat and boots with some balloons
He treasures any finished pieces you give him, whether theyâre on post-it notes, notepad paper, a sketchbook, or anything else
If you ever end up filling up your sketchbook/sketchpad/etc., you can expect a new one to suddenly appear on your bed (where and how he gets such things, you donât know)
On the other hand, he might offer you his own journal if you *really* want to draw something but donât have space or donât have the supplies
Heâs also not opposed to letting you draw different designs on his arms or hands if you want to try that (I would also say that heâd let you shade in his tattoos with watercolor or makeup but iirc he only has one tattoo :AGONY: )
Alternatively, if youâre into digital art, he finds that pretty gnarly too! He might even ask you to show him how it works sometime since heâs most familiar with sketching in his journal
