The next camera
Help me decide which camera to review next.
I’m always working on a review (or two) and always thinking about what’s next. My current next obsession is the Sony A6300. My review of the A6000 has been, and continues to be, very popular with over 180K views. For an unaffiliated camera reviewer in Toronto, that’s a huge number.
Usually, I don’t really care if my loan of a camera comes a few weeks after it’s released - there are many reviewers who have neither the time or interest to get as deeply into the functionality and usability as I do - they’re after news. They aim to get lots of plays quickly.
I’m kind of the opposite, I want to have time to try everything and shoot samples of the most interesting aspects - and find or create demonstrations of those features. And I aim to build my views over time - so the A6000 review is still getting 200-250 plays per day.
But this time, I’d like to have it as soon as possible and as a result, I’d like to keep the deck fairly clear until the A6300 arrives. But I don’t want to sit here twiddling my thumbs, so I have reached out to Fuji (for the X70) and to Olympus (Pen-F).
My camera interests are varied, so I’m certainly open to suggestion. Which camera do you think should be on my to-do list?
