We gave the Maccbook to Orlando last night at the Berlin gig. He was really happy and overwhelmed and immediately started looking through it. He said they would all enjoy going through it and reliving the memories. We’ll post more pictures from the finished book soon!

Told the Maccabees on twitter about our plans of giving them the book on August 21 in Berlin :) We’ll make a video when we give it to them so follow us on here to get all the updates!

Should i write my message directly to "the maccabees"??

Sure, as they are going to receive the book, you can of course address them personally!

So how does this work if i want to send a picture of a gig ticket/setlist and a little note saying how much i adore the boys? Do i just send it in the email exactly what i'd like to say so that you can then 'copy' it into the book? :))

Hey, we’ll print everything out, so whether you want to type your email out, or hand-write something and scan it, it will definitely find its way in there. Thanks for being a part of this!

Good news & bad news!

Hi guys, here’s an update on the Maccbook, our Maccabees scrapbook. The bad news is: we didn’t get as many submissions as we’d hoped, at least not enough to fill a whole book. The good news is: we’re extending the deadline by one week, so if you haven’t had the chance to submit something, you still can. The new deadline is August 7th. You can find all information about the project here.

If we want this project to work out, we need your help! Please reblog the masterpost (even if you already did) to spread the word. If you’re on Twitter you can also retweet us to get the word out.

Creative Maccabees fans wanted!

We’re putting together a Maccabees-themed scrapbook to give the band as a way of saying thank you. Therefore we’re collecting material from fans all over the world such as Maccabees-related or inspired art, (pictures of) self-made merch, of Maccabees memorabilia (such as setlists, plecs, gig tickets etc.) and of course stories, memories and anecdotes about what you’ve experienced with the band and their music and what they mean to you!
