hi we are the thesislings this is an impulsively made system diary blog that we'll prolly forget about like we did the last one

currently in the process of adding image descriptions to our comics, any comic that is in the process of, but not completed with ID will be taged with #incomplete ID, completed ID will be tagged #ID in alt text and we have yet to tag the ones with no current IDs.

rundown: we are a traumagenic system, we have very minimal access to professional resources currently and are hoping to gain SOMETHING out of doing this. Blog is run by the current host (Rook, He/They/It) and as he is the most frequent fronter and draws the most often while in front most comics will be from his perspective.

prolly need to work on my ability to commit to problem solving but i am very frightened by change (when the communication block started getting real bad it was like literally horrific) got used to this but we need to work together still and i miss them, and feel bad for them. sucks that im like a poorly socialized lap dog.

trying to make comics about literally anything and i always forget that trauma tends be traumatic and difficult to write about. also that writing about topics closely related to your own trauma is kinda gonna. remind you about that.

also once again forgetting that amnesia typically means forgetting. and forgetting means not remembering. and not remembering meaning. i dont remember that.

absolute horror show of a weekend. was going to make a more serious comic about this but its honestly comical. yeah heres why you keep having extreme levels of anxiety about medication. heres that fuckass purple rabbit from a show you dont like that much. hes gonna be kinda rude and distant from people now.

we dont usually split fictives (closest to a fictive we have is Pink and shes not really a character in her source??) so we all sort of freaked out. prolly not the best but we do noooooot have time to unpack that whole. gestures at that. good news was yellow fronted by herself for the first time in like at least a year so yaaaay i have info about her !!!

been a topic that we've struggled to explain before so finally sat my ass down and drew it out. everyone compliment me on the dvd metaphor im really proud of that description (/silly). anyways yeah we did NOT have access to any sort of good mental health resources and half of the battle was realizing that trauma exists outside of like. people in the military. but i dont know if our descriptions of dissociation will be clear for others but i dunno i felt like this makes more sense to us than "feels like dreaming" or "cant recognize your appearance" or "feeling disconnected"

im still so angry over the fanfic though that was some next level bullshit there is literally like 8 different ways to tag that and you chose the one that minimizes the main common trigger in the work the most.

absolutely fucking HATE our current psychologist. i mean hes prolly trying at least a little bit but like dude. how the hell do you fuck up your job so badly that every time your patient goes in they come out with a new unhealthy coping skill bro.

just really upset that this is prolly gonna cause our system to lock all the way back down. it took 4 months to get us to even get back to this point of functioning. its literally like starting over from scratch.
