@itsmaceybitch: i’m too hot (hot damn) 👅💣
“Sis!” Viv exclaims, a grin on her face as she points up at Macey. “What’s happenin’?”
Macey leans against the porch railing, a smile crawling up her face. She smelled the alcohol the moment she stepped foot outside. “Viv, are you drunk?”
“I don’t know man, you’re the one who did it.”
“I didn’t do anything,” Macey gave a fake shrug of innocence, “How dare you throw me under the bus like this, Av, I thought we were close.”
vivcasey:
Vivienne giggles as she knocks on a cabin’s door. Her breath smells of alcohol, which explains why she seems to have come to the decision that standing is too much effort and promptly slides down to a seated position–– her fist still tapping incessantly against the wood.
Macey hears a knock and is promptly confused. Brent never knocks when she’s there, her siblings never knock—obviously, so, this must be someone else. She pulls open the front door to reveal Viv sitting on the ground, giggling. “Uh, Viv?” Macey asks, stepping outside the door and around her, “Are you okay?”
luxdelaney:
Lux relaxed slightly once Macey waved off her toplessness, smiling and nodding as she went back to looking at her shirt. The stain was significantly lighter considering Lux hadn’t given the paint enough time to really set, but still there were a few splotches of lightened purple on the fabric. Her lower lip jutted out in a pout before she looked back at the petite brunette. “That might work, I’m pretty sure my mom did that too,” she nods, pulling her shirt back over her head, making a face as the damp fabric pressed to her skin. “Mind showing me the kitchen? If you’re not too busy, that is” She says, running a hand through her icy blue hair, not wanting to be an inconvenience for the girl.
Macey was gathering the string she needed when Lux spoke. Balling it up and shoving it into the pocket of her shorts, she turned around. “Yeah, totally,” Her nod, she worried, might have been almost too enthusiastic. Macey was never one to actively seek out friendships or long to be friends with people, more often than not they were drawn to her naturally. But, that Macey and this Macey were vastly different people, and this time, she actually wanted to be friends with her. “It’s kinda hidden in the Rec Building, so it’s a little tricky if you’ve never tried to look for it.” Macey walked back over to Lux and smiled, “I think Chiron put it there on purpose because we all like to raid the kitchen for food too much.”
brentvale:
“I think,” he murmured, turning his head so their lips were only just not touching, “we’re alone.” He carried her into the bathroom, closing the door with his foot, and set her down in front of the shower. He leaned back to lock the door, then returned to his place standing just inches from her. “You ready?” he asked, but he kissed her again to moment the words left his lips.
Macey quickly undid the bun her hair was in as he locked the door, her heartbeat now at the back of her throat. “Mhm,” Was all she managed to hum in response, his lips already on hers. It was almost a reflex, the way she pulled herself up against him and slipped her hands under his shirt, sliding up his back. She kissed him in return, a little less gently than he had, and kicked off her flip flops before pushing up onto her toes to reach him better.
aubennett:
“You’re the party person, not me, so I’ll let you be the judge of that. But you’re probably right. I hate to say it, but I’m a little tired of bonfires and singalongs and smores. I think everyone’s in the mood for a little something different, y’know?”
“Yeah, like, I don’t know, we’ve done luaus before.” The gears in her head start to turn. “Maybe like, a huge ass water balloon fight or a slip n slide or something. Something still beachy for the end of summer but not just the normal drinking, dancing, and swimming like it usually is.”
brentvale:
Brent gave her a five second head start before he chased after her. It didn’t take very long for him to catch up to her, and once he did, he wound his arms around her waist and lifted her off the ground. “You can’t bust your ass from up here,” he said, scooping her legs up and holding her bridal style.
Macey laughed as he picked her up with no trouble, “You should just carry me around like this everywhere so I never have to walk.” Wrapping an arm over his shoulders, Macey lifted her head as they walked inside and pressed a kiss to his cheek. “Do you think anyone’s here?” Her lips had moved over to his ear and she had quietly asked the question, her fingers drawing aimless lines on the back of his neck.
luxdelaney:
Lux found herself, shirtless, standing at the sink inside the crafts room, vigorously rubbing at the paint currently staining one of her favorite shirts. She wasn’t usually so clumsy, but she would blame the purple paint knocking over and dripping onto her shirt on the fact that she hadn’t realized the bottle’s cap was loose when she decided not to move it to the side more to get the pink paint behind it. Sighing, she wrung her shirt out after shutting off the water, turning at a sound behind her. She’s not embarrassed really, but she still pulls her shirt up to cover her bra mostly for their benefit. “Sorry! I dropped paint on it, I was trying to get most of it out before it stained too much.”
Macey waved her hand in a nonchalant gesture as she stepped further inside. “I’ve been a dancer for like, ever, competitions and recitals are like, ten girls to a dressing room.” She chuckled, “And I have like, 4 sisters at home.” She might have been slightly intimidated, though not out of awkwardness; Lux was just very pretty, a fact that Macey had told her boyfriend, repeatedly. She moved across the room to find the box of all the string. “But dude, that sucks, my mom always did like, baking soda and water on it and that usually takes it out?”
aubennett:
“Not a cold person. Not weather wise, anyway. Otherwise I’m like, obviously ice cold,” she joked. “Doesn’t it seem like this summer is disappearing? It was May five minutes ago and now it’s almost time for school to start and everything. What were you thinking?”
“I’m gonna be honest, I have no idea.” She laughs, “Maybe like, a beach party or something? I don’t know, I feel like we haven’t had enough parties this summer. I’d be up for any type of party.”
aubennett:
“Come on, summer’s almost over and before you know it it’ll be gross and gloomy and cold all the time. We might as well enjoy it.”
Macey gasps, putting a hand over her heart, “Are you saying that you don’t like winter, Aubrey? I’m hurt.” Though right after she smiles and nods, “But, seriously, I feel you, we need to do something before summer’s over because I swear to god I’m gonna blink and it’ll be Halloween.”
declanbrighton:
“No but listen,” Declan continues to stutter over his words, doing his best to control the fit of giggles bubbling up in his chest and spilling from his lips. He was just trying to share the story of helping his father moving in, but he couldn’t seem to get it out, his hand on the shoulder of the camper he’d bumped into, “Have you ever seen a 44 year old grown man surf a couch down a flight of stairs? Because if not, I’ve got the greatest fucking video to show you.”
Macey looked up at him. She was glad she had bumped into Declan, they’d become good friends in his time at camp so far, and tried her best to take him under her wing. Metaphorically of course, seeing that he was also the size of Brent. “Dude, your family is so much cooler than mine, what the hell.” She laughed, pretending to stumble under the weight of his large hand, “If anyone did that, I’d be grounded for-fucking-ever. I need to see this video, like, now.”
@itsmaceybitch: HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME HELL YEA PIGGYBACK RIDES ALL DAY 😘🎉🎁👑
brentvale:
“I think that’s a great idea,” he replied, eyes shut and lips tingling from the kiss. “The pancakes will be there when we get back.” He gently inched her back toward the cabins, glancing back at his own before looking back at Macey. He thought he was doing a fairly good job of hiding the fact that his heart was hammering inside his ribcage, though he felt the flush on his cheeks and was sure she could see it, too. “My siblings are probably all out by now,” he offered, praying to every god he was on speaking terms with that he was right.
“Good, ‘cause Miranda will probably sleep until noon.” Macey studied his face, looking down at her. Being with Brent had become so comfortable, more comfortable than Macey ever thought it would. She watched as his face reddened, the idea about why made her heart do a few somersaults up her throat then dive back down into her ribcage. But she hoped, just like he did, that she was hiding it well. Biting on her lip to hold back a laugh, Macey reached up and lightly pinched his cheek, “That blush really brings out your eyes.” Finally, the laugh escaped and she high-tailed it to the Ares cabin, knowing he’d catch up. “If I fall and bust my ass in there,” She called behind to him, “You’re so dead.”
brentvale:
Brent winced at the comment, but quickly stored it into the back of his mind as Macey pulled him toward the dining hall. He took a slightly wider step to press behind her, tightening his grip on her hand. “Sounds like a plan. Do you want to save water this morning?” he asked playfully, his voice a low murmur as they started to approach other campers.
Macey pursed her lips together in a smirk, feeling her breath catch at the bottom of her throat as he spoke. She hadn’t thought of it, and quite surprisingly walked into the statement without realizing. Her pace slowed to a halt and she turned to face him. Eye-level with his chest, Macey had to look up to fully see his face, and push herself up onto her toes as well as place a hand on the back of his neck so she could reach up to kiss him. Which was a very different kind of kiss than the one she had given previously. “Mmm,” She pretended to think about the question before pulling her lips away to speak. “Well, we gotta do our part to save the earth, right?” Her smirk had grown into a full grin, and she momentarily turned to look at everyone heading into the Rec Building. “I might even be willing to hold off on the pancakes and reverse my plan, if you want.”
brentvale:
The sight of his girlfriend evoked a wide grin. His focus shifted to her, while the rest of the world was still trying to catch up to his realm of focus. Brent leaned over to plant a kiss to the top of her head. “One day I’ll get you on a run with me and then you’ll be a morning person, too,” he told her, half-jokingly. Then he kissed her sweetly, catching her hand in his. Only now was he ready to face the day. “Breakfast?”
“Yeah, the day I start running with you is the day you quit smoking, kid.” Macey chuckled, a sarcastic, lopsided grin on her face as he pulled away from the kiss, “Which means it’ll probably never happen.” She squeezed his hand, now feeling much more awake than she was before, despite the sloppy, sleepy bun sliding down her head and the baggy t-shirt she was wearing. “But yes, please, I can hear the pancakes calling my name.” With a large, fake, sniff, Macey leaned towards the dining hall and nodded. “Pancakes, then I need to shower. My hair’s gross. And you’re sweaty.”
