also erm... while i have you all here because of new art: my birthday is coming up and i would love for nothing more than to be able to pay off my credit card so i can get some dental work done (i’m missing two fillings/chipped a tooth, ntm needing a number of cavities filled because i haven’t been able to get to a dentist since 2018). so i have a goal up on my ko-fi, and if you like my art, please consider tipping me or something that would be awesome.

#literally lost a major filling in one of my back molars last night so um yeah #and i don't trust care credit or whatever so i would rather use my own credit card that i've been using for the past year or so #and unfortunately being broke as hell in pittsburgh means i'm stuck at my limit because i have to use it for shit like groceries #and i've been in a perpetual cycle of just barely scraping by on my payments #so yeah if my art brings you any kind of joy or whatever by all means toss a couple bucks my way

thinking about this guy and making better sense of him/his character design because his hair looks so stupid in dsc so i did an insane amount of research on boot boy shit. my notes are as follows:

-i think he should have a much cleaner, put together appearance for anything pre-RE4 -shaggier look to him in RE4, because emotionally and mentally he’s basically at his worst and something something visual storytelling -i gave him clouding over his left pupil in line with the scarring because corneal damage -when i say “for accuracy” what i mean is, i’m pretty sure the red beret was chosen mostly because it looks cool, and everything else was tacked on afterwards. it’s never specified what his role is outside of USSOCOM which makes no sense because he was actively in combat, so i’m sure what was MEANT was that he was special forces (not colloquial), and from there i went with 5th special forces group because jack is supposed to be THE quintessential Army Guy archetype, and it just made the most sense.

LMAO change of plans, one of my roommates that has been unemployed and has not been looking for a job JUST told us that she isn't able to pay her portion of rent AT ALL because she quite literally spent all her most recent unemployment check on ordering food despite us having groceries and on new clothes she doesn't need, so now we have to pick up her slack as per usual! sorry if this sounds mean but i'm kind of at the end of my rope here, because this happens way more often than it should.

normally this wouldn't be an issue, as i generally make enough to cover if necessary, but things were tight last pay period and i ended up having to take an advance on my paycheck to pay for groceries, which means my paycheck for this pay period will be about a hundred dollars short.

my friend is covering most of it, which leaves me with about $99. i'm not asking for all of that, but any little bit helps since trying to cover her ass means i can't buy us groceries, i can't pay the gas bill, etc etc. so once again, if you like my art please consider kicking a couple bucks my way. i also have cashapp ($macheteclub) and paypal. thank you in advance.
