it's been way too long since i last drew marie

some florida headcanons??? because i have a lot of those

catalina's children are mostly girls with a few exceptions (tampa, saint petersburg, and clearwater are boys)

key west is the freak of the family, but she's actually almost as old as her sister miami, who was born in the early 1800s! she has a formal name (that i have yet to decide on), but everyone calls her cayo. or "cayo hueso" when she's in trouble. she's a very lively person and is really cheerful, but she's always inviting cuba over, which makes her mama mad

miami takes after florida quite a lot, however it's not coordinated. in fact, florida and miami are very different people, florida being a "country hispanic" and miami being a spanish-puerto rican-cuban hispanic. sometimes her siblings call her a chonga and that really peeves her off

and then there's a random atlanta because wherever there's florida there's georgia awkwardly standing there

I vowed that once I was done with school, I’d try to gradually practice things that are out of my comfort zone. First up: Lineless painting. Link was my guinea pig.

i don't think i would mind living in florida after college u_u,

even though i'm so eager to go back to the northwest, i'm slowly realizing how much i'd miss tampa
