For a summary: About an hour ago, footage surfaced from a Facebook livestream showing four black people, two females, two males, torturing a bound white male. They laughed at him, kicked him, punched him, cut him, and racially abused him. The footage lasted for about half an hour.

So far only Fox News 29 (local Chicago news) has reported on this incident. And here’s my proverbial comment on how the MSM would be sounding the alarms from here to high heavens if the races were reversed. I don’t even feel bad about saying that anymore. It’s just the fucking truth.
Four whypipo tying up some innocent black man and torturing him on facebook live all white hurling racial epithets at him? That’s primetime fucking news right there. We’d hear about it nonstop for weeks. Obama would come out, crying on national television talking about his children. Eric Holder would try to charge Trump with personally being responsible. We’d hear about the ‘culture of hate’ nonstop forever ad nauseum and on and on. Reverse the races and none of it means anything to anyone.
I wonder if it’s because black on white crime is so damn prevalent that it’s basically just another day in the USA.
As I mentioned, the four are allegedly in custody. But other then that tiny blurb, the CPD has said nothing on this case. There has been no indication that this will be pursued as a hate crime, nor any suggestion from the media that it could be considered a hate crime. We all know how much the MSM loves putting the words ‘hate’ and ‘crime’ together, but never when the victim is white.
Whypipo can’t be the victims of racial crime, anyway. Privilege and whatnot.
Maybe it’s because I’m a law student, but the loudest voice inside me just keeps screaming about the hypocrisy of hate crime legislation.
Don’t get me wrong – If there ever was an example of a hate crime… This was it. This man was targeted because of his race, kidnapped because of his race, assaulted because of his race, and held captive because of his race. But at the end of the day, all hate crime laws are bad. I’d uphold that even if this was tried as a hate crime (which I highly doubt it will be because the very nature of hate crime legislation is discriminatory).
To suggest some victims are worth more to the justice system than others simply because the intentions of the criminal who comitted the act will be scrutinized more heavily if there is an exploitable dynamic is insane, but it’s exactly what hate crime legislation does. If any of you remember Columbine, a huge uproar came out of the families of the children who died because a black family was demanding their son’s death (as one of many murdered that fateful day) be investigated as a hate crime, and thus have more resources and compensation attached to his and only his death.
But now I could go on and on about this shit.
TL;DR: Fuck you, Chicago. Fuck you 2017.
