FRANCE: Where there's Surgeon General warnings against snacking, but not smoking cigarettes
DAY 1: FEED ME
The first day I got to Paris Madame showed me around the neighborhood where I would be staying. I had been pretty hungry and just gotten off a long flight, so I was looking forward to dinner later and trying some french cuisine. On our neighborhood walk she pointed out the nearest McDonald's and asked if I would like to go there for dinner.

No Madame, America runs on Dunkin, not McD's. WHAT IS THIS AMATEUR HOUR?
Pourqoui?
Bonjour mes amis,
I am a 19 year old college student studying abroad in Paris, France. I live here with a 70 year old widow, Madame, (who speaks no english) in an apartment smaller than a french woman's waist. It's a bit of a culture shock, and our language barrier makes for some pretty great stories. Some friends said I should write these stories down, so here I am. Enjoy, I wish I could be making some of this up.
