This is a great video reaffirming and emphasizing the benefits and importance of what many permaculturists know as a paddock-shift system for grazing livestock. Allan Savory explains how and why the natural cycle that this method we know is based on is possibly one of the most important measures we can take in reversing desertification and climate change.

Packing for Utopia.

I'm going to Bangladesh again this winter and have decided to pack a box of things for Utopia. This box contains things I don't need in America or England, mostly things that can bring home and culture to the village. This is what I have so far:

-DVDs

-Educational Books

-Craft and DIY Books

-Books

-Art

-Small art supply kit

-A jar of popcorn kernals

-Makeup I seldomly use

-Pictures

-An American first aid kit (there is a difference.) 

-A childhood stuffed animal

I'm not sure what this could be, but I'm having an identity crisis. Laying low for some time.

Doing it for the Fame.

I've always had fantasies of becoming famous through different things I'm not even talented in. What I really wanted was to make money easily, feed my need for attention, be friends with other famous people, and be that much closer to marrying whatever actor I was obsessed at the moment. Now that I've grown up a little, I realize that isn't what I want at all. Now I realize there is a thing as too much attention, and that would just be the worst for it not to go away and I'd probably be really territorial about my super famous husband. 

I really do love this route I am taking because I am actually working hard and potentially making a difference through my own art and perseverance. Part of my dedication to Utopia is honestly the genuine fear of being alone and homeless when I'm older. It will also be effecting lives that are beyond me to change for the better. This is my difference. I'm comforted by the thought of having somewhere to go. Even if I do end up alone, I can just cry about it in my kick ass summer penthouse in an exotic village! 

Who knows where this could take me, for all I know this could be my subtle fame. Maybe I'll rent rooms out to famous people for their all too often spur of the moment trips to Bangladesh, Lady Gaga could come write songs ~*Made In Utopia*~!
