This is my first post using tumblr, I decided to do a small test with Catia V5 Functional Modelling. 

Advantages when compared with systems based on simple geometry:

- Design can be made with fewer features

- Features are easier to change

- Designers from multiple disciplines can work simultaneously on the same model,reducing schedule time from concept to production.
