Pacing within the hallways of her palace, she waited for whom she was going to meet with. She wasn’t quite sure whom she was seeing, nor what they were going to discuss. But alas, this was Wonderland, after all—- Nothing didn’t really make any sense. She ruled out a political discussion, but she was never sure.
Her palms shook with anticipation as she walked. It wasn’t a surprising or new quirk, she found herself quivering oftern—- Usually out of stress, or anger. She was never sure why, but it didn’t bother her much.
Finally, she reached the doors. Sighing as she waited for her guests arrival.
Glinda was absolutely expecting a political discussion…a political discussion masquerading as idle chatter, for the most part (this was how she conducted much of her business) but important, nonetheless.
It wasn’t that Oz and Wonderland weren’t on fairly good terms, offering the diplomatic equivalent of a polite smile and a nod every once in a while, but no official terms had ever been laid out…this was, perhaps, due in part to Wonderland’s, how shall we put it? Fondness for absolute nonsense, but Glinda, as always, was confident in her abilities.
She knocked, waiting with a smile and a subtle tilt of her head.
The Hatters eyes lit up as the guards opened the doors. Plastering a smile that would seem almost too friendly. ❝ Welcome! You must be Glinda! ❞ She said, cheerfully. Hoping that she got her name right. ❝ My name is The Mad Hatter. I was told to meet with you? ❞
