Rainbow is neither one of the older DBD characters or a newer character. She was actually developed for a YGO GX fanfiction of all things although she looks a lot different than she originally did for that. But she's been featured on here before. What is different though is her modern day version which is based off of Rainbow Dark Dragon and I have fallen in love with it. Honestly if I felt comfortable enough I would wear that because like damn, that would be nice. I don't have much planned for her to be completely honest. I feel like she would just be a 4th wall breaker and used for shenanigan's since she doesn't fit into either major story I have going right now. She would be the snarky mom of the group and honestly both groups could use one of those.

Kibishi is probably the newest of the characters aside from Yukinae. She was never even supposed to be in the roster of characters (was supposed to be 5 not 6 in the main cast). The first thing I thought of when thinking about her design and character was "thiccc joro" and rolled with that. Kibishi, in standing with her namesake, is very manipulative and will have her way no matter what. She tends to punish people who shame her and admittedly her punish is a bit...different and not IG friendly. The demon form was the second thing I thought of for her and that didn't change much from the first rendition. I think I added an extra mouth which...I now notice I forgot to add on the artwork but it's across her neck. Her actual design on the otherhand....wow that changed so freaking much. I knew I didn't like her original design when I finished it but I had no idea how different and better it could be. I'll post the original one later, couldn't bring myself to flesh it out for this project.

Eris is a fascinating character. It's not new that she was based off of the Entity from DBD but the transition that she has taken has been such a rollercoaster. Originally she was almost one of the main characters herself, one that interacted with the other characters and looked completely human. It was during this time that our head cannon was that Anna (the huntress) was her partner because if Anna was going to have a partner it would be the most powerful thing in the dimension because she deserves it. Then she turned dark. I wanted to make her less human and more demon, more fae. I love the way she turned out. I wish I drew her in a more realistic proportions more often but eh, apparently it'll always just be cutesy. Now though she acts as a primordial deity. I don't feel like she is a god of anything in particular, not even death or rebirth even though that is what she seems to excel at. I just think they are all just, there and influence the world to their liking. Yes I'm sure there are more, no I have no plans/ideas/anything for them.

Oh dear it has been a minute, huh….time does fly when its project season.

Never mind that because there be art here. My girlfriend me that there was some cool color schemed versions of this character from Tales of Arise. She mentioned there’s a black and red one (second picture) and…I didn’t like it..at all. So I redrew it. Did my own colors on how I thought it should go and just for shits and giggles gave her a scythe. Because I still don’t believe that someone in a sweetheart necklines, asymmetrical, frilly, multilayered ballgown should be wielding a gun. Clearly she needs a scythe. Scythes are cool.

On Twitter one day I noticed that the Yu-Gi-Oh! Official page posted a new monster design that was essentially a female “human” form of Stardust Dragon named after its tail. She was brilliant and I needed to do something like it. So I decided to do my favorite dragon in all of Yu-Gi-Oh…and maybe eventually my favorite form of her, Rainbow Dragon! So here’s my new baby, I love the way she came out…totally not biased.

Another #outfitaugust ! I’m so pumped! As always I’m fashionably late to this but in order to make up for that I decided that the power trio should show off outfits instead of the new character I wanted to use (you’ll see her soon. Just finetuning some details).

Super tough to not to my over the top shading but…can’t do that for every piece especially with school coming so here’s some attempted cell shading!

Decided to go with @jynnvynn ‘s list this year because its short and I love most of the items. Considering I’m doing threesomes this year it is a bit weird, some of the combinations. Note the Winter wear and swimwear next to each other but oh well.

Who are these lovely ladies? Well we’ve got Freya (Frey) to the left in a school uniform. It wasn’t based off of any real uniform I’ve seen but was based entirely around her colors. Sally (the useless lesbian) is in the middle wearing a cape…poncho…thing (its cute sue me). Adi brings up the far right in, for her, an actually conservative swimwear. She’s just confused as to why she’s wearing it. Because….well her wife is in winter wear, I would be confused too. Looking forward to everybody’s designs this year!

Sometime ago Kazzy and I thought about bringing the killers into the modern day. We always thought it would be the hardest on those with the most tragic deaths but also the ones that were the oldest. Which is why Rhiannon, who was sacrificed but also lived in 9AD, would have one of the hardest times.

I always imagined her tale becoming a folktale. One that warned others to stay clear of this area lest be haunted by the Banshee of the north. I’m torn though to whether or not she painted the painting. On one hand it’s tragic but beautiful if her life was able to be put up for the world to see by her later years…but perhaps this is right after she came to this time. She overheard that there was this piece depicting someone who sounded identical to her and she found that the people recognized her and her sacrifice. There’s pros for both sides.

Have you ever just looked at a design and knew you just had to draw it? Yeeeah that’s what happened here. Girlie was showing me the new game she was preordering and I just knew, without even learning her name, that I must do the draw.

This is Shionne from the new Tales of Arise game and she is my new favorite thing.

This is also a completely new style…obviously…and while I love it I’m not sure I’m not sure if it can be duplicated. Fingers crossed!
