fun fact: we had around twenty life experiments on the flight!! test subjects include cells, chicken embryos, fruit flies, frogs, frog eggs, plant seeds, koi fish, fungi, and us!!

I love helping others and was honored to be the Area Peace Corps Medical Officer for Sierra Leone and Liberia in West Africa from January 1983 to June 1985!

06.16.96 - over the moon 🌙 that I had the opportunity to speak at my alma mater, Stanford at their 105th Commencement in ‘96! Enrolled at age 16 and completed degrees in both chemical engineering and Afro-American Studies in 1977 as well as a Doctor of Medicine degree from Cornell in 1981!
