BUCKET LIST: #12 To go to one place all by myself.

I already accomplished this one. Thank You Lord. :)

Unforgettable Experience for Upcoming College Life.

Today, I went to LPU (Lyceum of The Philippines University) for my orientation. It was my first time to go on a place all by myself. At first, I was really scared because I don’t have some comrade along with me, so I feel loner inside. But I kept mind that I’m old enough & I must do it because I choose that university and no one can join me in my everyday travel to school. But I learned that I always depend on myself for someone to come along with me just for the sake of happiness. (*Am I too selfish enough?)

I went on with my Aunt because she will go to the hospital to pay for the bills of my grandmother. She joins me on jeepney & we separated ways when the jeep got on Pasay, because I need to rode on LRT to came up to my school. When I got to Central Terminal Station, I’d hurried up because I saw that there’s only 5 minutes to go before it started. When I came to Parian, I thought to myself “Lord, sana dip o HIGH TIDE dito sa Parian kasi no choice po ako kundi umikot.” I thought that almost 50x just to be on time. Unfortunately, I was late for about 2 mins. Because I met a girl named “Majiline” also an IR student, who became my pal. We went on the 3rd floor, since it was indicated that JPL Freedom Hall was located there. When we got there a man told us that we should go down & turn left. Both of us are unfamiliar about our university so we came up to ask a girl who wore the same uniform that we will be using. Thanks God for giving that beautiful angel for answering our queries.

At the JPL Freedom Hall (Orientation):

We got a sit already & just in time they started the orientation. The speaker for those CIR Students (of course I’m one of them) is quite importunate but all those things that he have shown & said are very interesting, why? Because he shared to all of his experience & how his dream does started. As an assignment to all of us; he want us to write an essay about our expectations, dreams, & what do we see ourselves 10 yrs from now. A bubble pop-up in mind when he shared that his first wage he a part of it to his parents & sent them abroad. I do really want that for my parents. After that the orientation went so boring. They discussed about the policies & sanctioned, about our ID, & etc. I was alive again when they discuss “Peer Talk” why because they put up some comedies were in all of us can laugh & at the same time they let us familiarized ourselves to college life.

I think I got this too long. I hope you, Pals can relate on this experience. Have a happy night everyone. J

P.S:

Btw, I was really amazed when the Pep Squad dance & the Tanghalan Batingaw act on the stage. I also learned another meaning of KFC: “KIKIAM, FISHBALL, & CHICKEN BALLS” FOR SURE MAY SAKIT KA NA.
